    Matcha latte

Incredible coffee. I am mostly reviewing to compliment their matcha though. It is really hard to find a place that actually makes good matcha lattes. I am extremely picky and particular and redhawk perfects it! The strawberry matcha was rich and full of flavor. They add an appropriate amount of matcha to the latte and it is the perfect shade of green. Service is great and it's really cute inside! Thank you.

I visited Redhawk to pick up some scones from a local pop-up bakery and got a coffee while I was there. My iced latte was good and they have a lot of food options, beans for sale and seasonal menu items. Wish there was a bit more space to grab a seat and enjoy inside!

Very cool hangout for chatting about music, art, or any creative activity. Friendly baristas, excellent coffee , and amazing breakfast sandwiches on the weekends.

Mother-daughter date at this charming roastery in Sharpsburg! Cool decor, yummy coffees selection and great folks who work there! I can vouch for their Chai!

Super cute lil coffee shop here in Sharpsburg! Love it. Staff are nice and there are plugs to charge your laptop/phone while you sip your latte etc. I'd definitely come here again- it's my local indie coffee place. YAY! Also, 200 reviews? Woohoo!!!!

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our morning coffee. Redhawk coffee wasn't our initial destination but after the original place was closed I was happy to see a redhawk coffee roasters nearby as I had been very happy with their Oakland location. This specific redhawk is located on canal street in Sharpsburg and is pretty spacious. The floor is black and white tile and it feels like this may have been a soda counter in a previous life. They have some of their coffee for sale as well as a bunch of Chemex stuff and then the back of the shop has some giant old school speakers. For my coffee on this day I went with a large oatmilk latte while my wife went with a mocha and then we also ordered a hot chocolate and a cappuccino for my in laws. It only took about 5 minutes before we had our coffees and were headed to our car. About 10 minutes later I took my first taste of my coffee and something tasted off to me, almost mayonnaise like. I thought it was because I had just eaten a cream puff and it had blown out my palate. However, even after drinking water and giving it 30 minutes, I still wasn't happy. So I had my wife try it and she confirmed something was off. It's a shame too as this was the same drink I had really enjoyed at their Oakland location. In the end I poured over half of it down the drain, which if you know me, pretty much never happens. I will say that both of my in laws enjoyed their drinks and that my wife enjoyed her mocha, even if it wasn't super chocolatey, so it was likely the oatmilk. The bottom line for me is that I probably wouldn't stop back to this location in the future. While I enjoyed their Oakland location immensely, I think something was off with the oatmilk at this location.

Love their coffee- great atmosphere and fair pricing. Always friendly baristas:). Must stop here every time I'm in Pittsburgh!

Excellent coffee here! Not too busy when we stopped in, and our drinks came out pretty quickly! I had a vanilla milk latte and he had a cappuccino, and he said that the cappuccino was hard, and my latte was absolutely delicious. They also have pastries and other types of coffee here, would highly recommend stopping by! The venue is an old historic building, and they've done a great job of preserving the floors and walls. Really love the vibe in here, would definitely come back!

Quality coffee! Love coming here on the weekends and enjoying a vanilla latte. They over almond and oat milk alternatives which is nice. They have a few unique coffees as well on there menu that I'm looking forward to trying in the future. A couple tables inside and out if your looking for a place with wifi to hang and work. Unfortunately they don't offer food. They have a small selection of baked goods if you get here early enough.

I picked up 2 cold brews for my bff, banana pudding for my pops and for me a cookie butter pudding (I think) for myself. To top it off I picked up a banana smores iced latte. No wonder this place is a diamond in the rough. I have never and I mean never had anything bad here. And it def put a smile on my face that the owner knew who I was and knows my love for her business. Please do yourself a favor and go here. Take a day drive and try it out. I promise you - you will not be disappointed.

I honestly have not been in the area much lately and was surprised to see its prime location on South Highland in that East Liberty, Shadyside and Friendship corridor. The inside of the shop was packed by the time we got inside so I did not get to see much of it other than the coffee bar and the large selection of baked goods. For my coffee this morning I went with a butter beer cold brew while my wife went with an iced Almond Joy latte. The menu described mine as cold brew with butterscotch syrup and cheesecake sweet cream. My wife's was described as just like the candy bar with dark chocolate and coconut topped with coconut flakes. My coffee actually ended up tasting pretty good. The butterscotch tasted somewhat similar to caramel but the cold brew was definitely the star. It was rich and strong which I always appreciate. The cheesecake sweet cream was also a nice addition as it was sweet like you would expect but also had a bit of tartness that reminded me of actual cheesecake. My wife also enjoyed her coffee and especially liked the combination of chocolate, coconut and coffee flavors. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both enjoyed our drinks and I would definitely be interested in trying some of the pastries next time.

This coffee shop is located in Homestead right on East 8th Avenue, and the inside is massive. The space features exposed brick throughout with plenty of seating, including a large number of tables and a sofa as well. Near the counter where you order, they had several baked goods displayed under cloches, along with a small area filled with a variety of cacti. For my coffee this morning, I went with a brown sugar latte while my wife chose a mocha. My son picked a banana, which was surprisingly free, and my daughter went with an apple danish. During the entire time we were there, we were the only people in the shop, and the two employees working were incredibly friendly. My coffee ended up tasting really good. The brown sugar added some sweetness while still allowing the coffee to shine through. It was deep and rich, and honestly had more coffee flavor than most lattes I have had in a while. My wife also enjoyed her coffee, and my twins were happy with what they ordered. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My friend was a little disappointed with their fruit tea. Portion seemed to be noticeably smaller by a good bit. A refrigerator contained yogurts, juices, oat milk, and other bottled beverages. Shelves held bags of coffees and kettles. I did notice that the cafe was very humid because of the cold weather outside and the many customers inside. The windows had much condensation. I wonder if a dehumidifer would reduce the indoor humidity.
