3.7/5 Came back here for the first time in a bit. Their syrups are really special and taste like they're made in house. While still much better than many coffee shops in the Pittsburgh area, their espresso seems to lack flavor and their milk didn't have the quality/texture I was looking for. However since I ordered a latte, espresso flavor is often overshadowed/diluted purely by the nature of the drink. I LOVED this place last time I came. They had skilled baristas and very unique flavors and decent espresso. Perhaps I came on an off day. However this time the milk wasn't the same silky texture as before and the espresso flavor was very subtle. There was no latte art, which is okay, but for the artisanal branding and pricing I was hoping for that same experience I had last time. I would recommend this spot since it's very cozy and fun to explore menu-wise, though I left wondering if something changed.

Cute little coffee shop on a corner of Sewickley. They make their own syrups in house and sell them to take home. Service is very friendly here. We ordered an espresso and an espresso soda with a little bit of citrus syrup. The espresso flavor is great and not burnt! Will be back here.

The Pittsburgh metro area is chock full of coffee shops and this is another great one out in the 'burbs. A perfect place for a coffee (and sweets) break after checking out all of the shops in charming downtown Sewickley. As other reviews have already noted...high prices but high quality. Syrups are made in house and beans are freshly roasted. Accessibility note: there is a large step up (with no ramp) from the front door entrance to the coffee bar area.

I absolutely ADORE Press House Coffee. I have been a fan of them for years, so I was so happy when they were featured at a wedding I attended. They have the cutest cart which makes the ordering that much more fun and make fresh coffee onsite at your event and have a variety of options to fit your preferences and dietary needs. I was able to enjoy TWO iced lattes. I got the Carmel and the Matcha (my personal fav). If you're looking for a fun and creative coffee service for your next event I highly recommend Press House Coffee! They are very friendly, quick to reply, and were the highlight of the wedding!

We picked up a bag of beans from them at the Lawrenceville farmers market! The beans were good and we enjoyed them. We thought the packaging was fun and we appreciated the knowledge of the employee.

I had a really delicious, very expensive latte here yesterday. While I wouldn't be able to afford to come here for daily coffees, it was the perfect stop for a rare latte treat. I ordered a latte ($5.50) with lavender syrup ($1) and almond milk ($1) for $7.50 total. It's definitely the best latte I've had in a while, and the best lavender syrup I've found in Pittsburgh. I ordered the drink half sweet and it was perfect. The shop was fairly crowded with more than half of its tables occupied around noon on a Wednesday, but there was no line. Next time I'm in the area I do plan to stop back in.

Cute coffee shop just off the main drag. They have sweet baked goods and sometimes donuts in addition to their drinks. I got a biscotti that was delicious but too big to eat at once, a cream filled donut, and a ginger toddy that was, honestly, too sharp for my tastes. Next time, I'll get the blueberry rooibos. Friendly staff. Beware the floor is on two levels, although the counter to order and the restrooms are on the lower side with the entrance. Restrooms are gender segregated. I used the men's when the women's was occupied and appreciated the hand lotion next to the hand soap. Street parking.

Cutest and sleek designed coffee shop! Kind barista. Matcha in a pear tree was delicious! The drinks came out in perfect temperature to drink.

Menuing (I know, made up word) and ordering is quite disorganized. Mint menus everywhere making it unclear what is available. Cute sort of kitschy place and staff was friendly. Iced coffee was smooth, gingerbread latte includes some orange zest which is really nice. Also, ordering it as it comes (sub almond milk) proved to be not too sweet. Don't expect much in the way of food. They sell a few pastries and some packaged snacks like vegan bars and potato chips, so plan according and grab your coffee here then skip on down Broad St to fill your belly.

Modern day hipster coffee shop in Swickley. Offers coffee, tea, and pastries. Free WiFi available. Perfect place to hang out to get some work done. I like the natural lighting in the shop. Every table has a window view. There are about 6-8 tables available. Staff is really friendly.

I stopped by here a couple of Sundays ago with my wife for our morning coffees. We had tried to come to press house a couple of times somewhat recently but it was being remodeled. So I was happy whenever I saw on Yelp that their hours were updated and they were open. The inside of this shop is nice with hardwood floors and then some tables for seating. Their espresso machines were unlike any I had seen before as it looked like the machine itself was under the counter with only the place for the portafilters and pucks on top. Last but not least they had Valkyrie donuts being sold here which are plant based donuts. After looking at the menu I ultimately went with the rosemary maple latte with oat milk and my wife went with the gingerbread latte with whole milk. I first tried my coffee after having something sweet from another place and while I could taste the oat, I could not taste the rosemary. However, after a palate cleanse I was able to taste the rosemary which was subtle but present as well as the sweetness from the maple. My wife ended up really enjoying her latte and she said it tasted like a gingerbread cookie which is something that she loves. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While the coffee itself was a little expensive at $7 each, we both enjoyed ours.

I did not have this shop on my radar and only found it because we were in Zelienople. It is located on a side street right off Main Street and parking was easy as there were a number of spots both in front and just past it. The shop itself is welcoming with a dark brown colored floor, a grey brick coffee bar and a wooden board ceiling. The tables are all live edge and the photos around the shop focus on nature. There is also a small area with merchandise for sale. For my coffee this morning I decided to go with an Americano while my wife went with an iced vanilla latte. We also picked up a stamped gingerbread molasses shortbread cookie and a biscotti which we shared with our kids. The biscotti had a nice snap and great flavor while the gingerbread cookie was deep and rich with those warm gingerbread spices. It was good enough that I went back up and bought another one just for my wife. As for the coffee, both my wife and I really enjoyed it. My Americano came out piping hot. After letting it cool a bit I tried it and thought the flavor was excellent. Letting the coffee speak for itself was the right move here. It had some fruity notes before finishing with a natural sweetness that I really enjoy in coffee. I would not call it bold, probably due to the size of the Americano, but it certainly was not muted either. Honestly, if I had added milk or creamer to this cup I think it would have ruined the flavor that I liked so much. My only issue was that the bottom quarter of the cup had a lot of grounds in it. There were enough that I ended up throwing the rest away. I was also able to try my wife's coffee and really enjoyed what I think was a homemade vanilla flavoring. It almost had a caramel like note that paired nicely with the coffee. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. My wife and I both liked the vibe of the shop and the coffee was very good. I only wish my Americano had not been filled with grounds at the bottom.

It has a roastery, bakery, and several cafes in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and it provides training and equipment to other businesses. My husband and I were customers of this cafe in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood one time. The menu listed coffees, espressos, lattes, teas, hot cocoa, cookies, muffins, scones, sandwiches, etcetera. A refrigerator contained yogurts, juices, oat milk, and other bottled beverages. Shelves held bags of coffees and kettles. Employees kindly took my husband's order and payment and promptly made our beverages. Some tables and chairs were inside the cafe, so we sat down to enjoy our beverages. Other customers were using the dining area to read, spend time with family and friends, and work on laptops. I rate the Chai Latte has 5 stars and the holiday Sugar Plum Latte as 4.5 stars. We enjoyed their flavors. Each beverage was 12 ounces, and their total price was $11 plus tax and tip. I did notice that the cafe was very humid because of the cold weather outside and the many customers inside. The windows had much condensation. I wonder if a dehumidifer would reduce the indoor humidity.
