Great service. They came to me and had great communication. Quick and easy! Also worked flawlessly with my insurance. Thanks!

Mike was conscientious. The work was done cleanly and without any issue. I am very pleased with the service I received.

I am extremely satisfied with the service I received from Glass America. They came to my home and repaired my car window quickly and efficiently. The technicians were professional, courteous, and did an excellent, clean job. I truly appreciate their outstanding service and attention to detail. I would 100% recommend Glass America to my friends and family. Thank you for a job well done! read more

Recommend! They came to my workplace, was easy to work with, and bonus was he pointed out a flaw in the glass and made another appointment with a better piece. Some would be fine, but I'm very far sighted so I'd notice. I appreciate the option. read more

Excellent and friendly service! Super quick and responsive. Much better prices than Safelite! Would use again (hopefully won't need to though). read more

Everything went as expected. The windshield looks great. And the service was a great experience. Thank you.

They did a great job on replacing my cracked windshield. There are no leaks and I can actually see! They estimated 2 hours and were done in an hour and a half. Also, they were about $200 cheaper than their big competitor down the street. Thank you! read more

My experience was great!! The tech was friendly and courteous. He did an amazing job with my back glass. He left my car and the work area clean. Mostly I was so excited about the pricing. Glass America was half the price of a well known local company and they even came to me so I wasn't stuck waiting for hours. Highly recommend Glass America. Thank you so much!! read more

Glass America replaced our windshield and since the cold weather started up, we started to get condensation on the inside of the car. We took it in to have them repair it, and they told us because of a VERY SMALL ROCK CHIP, that it voids the "LIFETIME" warranty. They also said they cannot just replace the seal because if they do it it could break the windshield and they will not do it. It is their error the car is no longer sealed. Now they want 750 to replace it. I would not use them to replace your windshield if they do shotty work and do not fix their mistake. read more

Awful experience. First, contrary to their online listing, they are not located on Thorndyke Ave. in Seattle. Glass America is a national company in Illinois that sends out mobile technicians. In November 2018 they dispatched two technicians to repair the back glass of my 2016 Ford vehicle, which was cracked, at a cost of $383. The technicians Robert and Charlie rushed through the repair and unbeknownst to me, damaged the 3rd brake light seal while scraping the adhesive from the existing glass and frame. This caused a severe water leak and when it started to rain it pooled in the back of the car, in the trunk, damaged the rear leather interior and fogged-up the windows. I borrowed a wet vac and tried to extract as much water as I could, but the interior was swamped. I called Glass America to state what was happening and they dispatched Robert again, who came and replaced the back glass under warranty. The company was willing to dry out the car at a detail shop, so I had to call and provide estimates and negotiate with their regional manager to approve the detail work, so my car would not be infested with mold. However, it was thought a lack of polyurethane during the original installation had created gaps between the glass and frame and caused the water to leak. So the problem was not fixed. About 10 days later, on Christmas Eve, I discovered the car was swamped and flooded again. I notified the regional manager by email and he posited it could be a seal leaking and not the glass adhesive, etc. He sent out Charlie, who bragged that he's been doing this for 17 yrs and could not have possibly made an error. I poured water over the glass and third brake light assembly and water leaked right into the cabin. Not his problem he said, they don't touch that. I took the car to my Ford dealer and they replaced the third brake light assembly, which showed clear and visible damage, as if someone had scraped it with a tool. This cost me $600+. Glass America says this does not prove they damaged it during the replacement; though, my vehicle records at Ford state no previous water leaks or any problems with the third brake light. I kept the car in pristine condition and the interior is permanently water damaged. I regret calling Glass America and should have contracted Safelight, as suggested by my insurance company. But because the initial damage was under $500, it was not covered by insurance and Glass America's replacement cost came $40 under Safelight's quote. To save some money, it ended up costing me $1000+ and valuable time wasted throughout the holidays. Avoid this company. read more

Please do not choose this company unless you want to torture yourself. The first man they sent broke my windshield water sprayer and didn't install the new windshield correctly. The second man was no show. The third man finally get windshield installed but didn't know how to fix the sprayer. I had to go to my dealer and cost ~$400 to fix it.. When I got back to Glass America for reimbursement, they said sprayer fix only worth $247.53 and that's all they can reimburse to me. I don't want to waste more time with them and agreed on the number, but 1 months passed, nothing happened.. no check, no mail, and even no response of my emails now. Again, please do not choose this company unless you want to torture yourself. read more

Horrible experience with them. No communications about change/cancel appt. worst of all the technician missed 5 clips which hold down wiper cowling. Thanks to my dealer who found the problem during the calibration and fixed it for me. They are in my insurance network. So I set up an appt with them last Thursday. Then on Wednesday I was told the windshield was shipped to the wrong place and they couldn't locate it in 1 day. I provided my address correctly. Asked to schedule to Saturday. Called back to ask for the time range. The first rep told me my appt would be the first job for the technician. He should cal me around 9-10. After 10 nobody called me. I called back and was told she couldn't find my appt. Then called my insurance and was told they found my appt. I called glass America and found out the technician noted that he couldn't call me (I didn't have any miss call or voice message). The dealer with the glass was not open so the appt was changed to Monday. I asked morning or afternoon. They let me choose. I chose morning. Then till 10am is don't get any call. I called back and found out it was changed to 2-4pm. Then I went to the dealer for calibration and found out 5clips were missing. The dangerous part for the miss is they may cause reflections on windshield and cause eyesight not to perform correctly. Please don't try with glass America in Seattle. read more

I have one thing to say. It is impossible to reach their local shop by phone without going through the corporate chain call center. For a local shop in the area, they are not good for getting a hold of. Do not choose them if they are the first on the list on your insurance claim! read more

Awful incompetence. They had one job - to deliver a new windshield and install it on a Saturday. First, they brought the wrong windshield. " Oh, sorry, your windshield has no rain sensor. This one I brought is for the model with a rain sensor. " Ok, I thought, mistakes happen. Then, I get a call next weekend, " Sorry, the windshield was damaged in transit. " At this point I'm losing confidence rapidly. Then, the THIRD Saturday rolls around, and the driver shows up, walks over to my car, and says in a totally surprised voice " Oh! You have the model without the rain sensor! This one won't work!" As he says this, he opens the back of his van, to show me what I swear was the exact same wrong windshield that the first driver had showed me two weeks prior. Same position on the rack. So at this point I'm like "goodbye, forget it". Based on this experience, Glass America is at best grossly incompetent. Their telephone calls come out of some vague Nevada call center. When I called and respectfully asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on permahold, and dealt with by staff that at best could benefit from cstmr service 101. Long story short: even though I'm filing an insurance claim to fix my cracked windshield, I can still choose a glass vendor with integrity and good customer service practices. read more
