Cody is great! Our Outback had a leak and I assumed it was the sunroof drains being blocked. Cody diagnosed that the drains were fine, and showed me how to check them. He concluded that the sunroof had probably been opened partly and that the deluge we had (November 2025). He pulled the interior ceiling down, cleaned it out (pinecones and twigs had gotten in through the open sunroof), and dried out the right rear floor. When I went to pay, he comped it, saying he hadn't done anything! He's got a new customer--what a great experience. read more

Man, what good luck I had choosing Quality! I drove in without an appointment to investigate a loud bang whenever I closed the trunk of my Chrysler minivan. Cody looked at it immediately and saw that the rear trunk window was on the verge of blowing out! The caulking had deteriorated, and my window was literally holding on by one thread. They took the window out, cleaned it up and replace the caulking all within 45 minutes of my arrival. I was in and out in less than an hour! The best part of all was the price! Remember in Fellowship of the Rings when they all met at Rivendell? Aragorn had taken the hobbits there for refuge and to heal Frodo of his wounds. At Rivendell, they found friends and we're tasked on an adventure that would save middle earth. Today, I found a Rivendell. It's an Auto glass store of all places. I worked an extended shift at the hospital and ran fast over here (7 min drive from univ of Washington northwest). We've been hit by Covid and long work hours the last couple weeks, so it took coordination to find time to get here. Frodo found Gimli and Legolas. I found Shane and Logan. Shane, strong and stocky in stature greeted me at the door at 5:08. He told me that they'd be done with my rock chip in 30 mins. They were done in 20. Logan appeared with his elvish fleet foot and told me they were done fixing my rock chip. It's sealed and will be protected from further damage. No charge. It was easily worth the price of 65 bucks, but they saw me in my scrubs looking like I've had a long day. I'm curious what adventures these two will have as they help others. But this Hobbit is grateful he found them. Top notch. read more

Car had some problems so we took it in and they replaced our brake pads and rotors and charged us $850. 4 months later, the car is making bad noise again, the same problem as the first time, and now is charging us $750 for calipers when they did not fix the problem correctly the first time. They guaranteed the problem was fixed but they did not fix it and want us to pay again. Really really bad service. Do not recommend going here. Cheaper and more guaranteed if you just do it yourself. read more

No Quality Auto Glass is more like it. Absolutely incompetent and arrogant about it. They literally told me: "Most people think insurance is to return your car to the way it was. It's not. It's just to get you going." By state law, the opposite is true. In short: My windshield was broken. My insurance recommended Safelite but they had a backlog so I tried Quality Auto. I asked them if they worked with Safeco and they said yes. Car in question: BMW 528i 1. the get in a crap Chinese windshield with 6 generic wire connectors, none of which fit my car. 2. By the time I find out, they have already glued in the windscreen. 3. They have recovered the connectors from the old windscreen and want to "make it work". They refuse to call Safeco, insist that this is the best they can do. I say "ok, go ahead, but don't f'up the car wiring (in case this happens again), keep all wiring modifications to the windscreen, and everything has to fit back the way it was. "OK" Result: 1. The trim from the windscreen is gone at the bottom. They claim it was old and fell apart, my fault, and not part of the repair. 2. The trim panels over the rear pillars inside are gaping an inch open, over a rat's nest of wires. They claim it is because they are brittle, my fault, not part of the repair. 3. They snipped the connector off of my car and crimped on generic connector to fit the generic Chinese windscreen. Now if I ever get a new windscreen it's not going to fit, and someone's going to have to attach generic connectors because they buggered up my car. 4. One of their connectors is a bare metal spade lug, uninsulated, jammed up against the metal body 5. They lost one of the caps from my driprail. This should not even have been part of the repair. read more

My wifes VW Bug had her driver side window scratched up by a random maniac on Capitol Hill a couple months ago. I took the car in last week on July 21st to finally get it replaced. When I picked up the car, Shane, I believe his name was, told me it is fixed but that there were some issues. He said that when they replaced the window, they found that it had only been held in by 1 clip and not 2, as is normal. This will most likely cause the motor to be worn out prematurely due to the effort of raising and lowering the window on only 1 clip. He said he could fix it on another day for around $180-$200 he thinks. I drove the car away thinking the motor and clip thing will have to get fixed sometime in the future. The next day I went to get the window "tinted" to match the rest of the car. The guy at the tinting service went to roll down the window, for the first time, and the window dropped at an angle and got stuck. He helped me get it back up and I drove it home with some tape holding it in place. I removed the 2 door panels and found the missing clip, put it all back together and the window works fine. I learned two things: 1 - No way, no how could the window ever be raised and lowered, for the past 2 years, if it was only installed on only 1 clip, as Shane proposed. 2- They lied to my face and obviously dropped the clip when they were working on the window and didn't have the integrity to fix or stop and explain what happened. You would think, once they saw (according to them) that there was only 1 clip visible before replacing the window, they would have stopped and called me to explain the situation. They did not do this because it simply wasn't true. They put the new window back in and tried to fasten it to 1 clip which lasted all of 2 seconds. Ridiculous! Go somewhere else!! read more

Had a small rock chip on my windshield so called this local shop for a fix. $75 and a pretty quick turn around! A small nit I have is that they weren't responsive. I dropped my car off at 10:30am and was told it would be ready within 30 minutes, potentially sooner. I have a young toddler and I timed her nap so that we would be able to run some errands. But it turned to 11, then 12... and I called literally 7 times. Went to voicemail. On the 7th call, someone picks up and says my car has been ready to go for a couple of hours but they just didn't have time to call me. Bruh... it takes 30 seconds, literally. So my entire day from 10am to 3pm was pretty much wiped. Also, this shop seems to have some issue with Statefarm and chip repairs? I called my Statefarm agent twice to confirm that I have a 0 deductible policy for rock chip repairs, but the shop guy was adamant that Statefarm didn't provide that. But they definitely do... I ended just paying the 75 out of pocket since I didn't want to claim something so small. Again, there were some annoying factors, but the repair seems to be good work. read more

Took my car in for a broken out passenger window and decided to get my windshield fixed at the same time. Dropped my car off Monday afternoon. I ubered back up to pick up my car at the end of the day and it wasn't done. They had put a temporary window on and asked me to reschedule. I dropped my car back off on Wednesday afternoon. I called back a couple times and finally got word that my window wouldn't be ready until Friday. Once they answered the phone on Friday I was told my car was ready so I ubered back up. When I arrived my door panel had not been reattached yet. I waited another 20 minutes for the to be fixed. It appears to be quality work, but communication was VERY frustrating and truly lacking. The chip was not fixed to Shanes satisfaction so he didn't charge me for the chip repair. He gave me information on fixing the entire window and how to move forward with a new window. Fast, friendly, quality service! I had a small chip in my windshield that was starting to spread. I wanted to get it repaired before it turned into a crack that would require an expensive windshield replacement. I called Safelite, who works with my insurance company, but their first available appointments were over two weeks out. No good. I called Quality Auto Glass and they set me up with an appointment for the very next day! I had a 4:00 appointment and went prepared for the usual waiting that goes along with having work done on your car -- waiting to get your car in, then waiting for the work to be done, then waiting to pay the bill. My car window got smashed at a parking garage in Seattle waterfront at night. I contacted this glass shop and they were able to schedule me for a glass replacement the next day. Unfortunately the glass manufacturer didn't send the right type of window glass to the shop. But Logan was very kind to add a clear window guard plastic paper on my broken window spot free of charge. He also let us use their vacuum to get most of the glass debris out of my car. Great service! read more

They got me in the next day and upon looking at the damage found they couldn't repair it (too large & in driver's sight) but they ordered the windshield and I returned the following day and had it replaced. Took my car in this afternoon after waking up to a smashed in window. When I went to pick it up, there was glass all over the front passenger seat still. I went back in to ask them about it, and they told me they didn't have the right kind of vacuum to get up all the glass. Keep in mind that Quality Auto Glass also runs a detailing business out of the same location. How do you not have a vacuum if you do detailing? He suggested I use a lint roller to get the glass off the seat. Anyhow, he ended vacuumed the seat and the floor, but I kept finding glass - on the dashboard, on the running board, on the console. He cleaned it up, but with an attitude. When he was done, and I was backing out he and another worked exchanged snarky glances and rolled their eyes. After I left, I found more glass in the car. Under the dash on the drivers side, and on the floor behind the front passenger seat. Apparently they didn't move the chair to make sure there wasn't more glass in the back. I went to the car wash to vacuum out the rest of the glass I found and wipe down the interior and I got glass in my hand. For a detail shop, they aren't very detailed. I was going to have my car detailed there next week, but canceled the appointment. Not sure they have the right kind of vacuum to get everything cleaned up. read more
