A cement truck on I-5 threw a rock, and dinged the windshield of my Tesla Model 3. Quality Auto Glass was able to book me in the next day. After inspecting the chip and confirming that the damage was repairable, Cody was able to make the repair in short order. The chip was less visible than when I arrived, and the small cracks had tightened up. In the good news/bad news department, Cody pointed out another rock chip on the glass roof of my car, which I hadn't noticed before and which was barely visible. I first met Mike at his shop over 15 years ago. I stopped by his shop at the very end of the day. At that time, I had a car that had a drivers side door window that was mis-aligned at it would not close. He fixed it just before he closed for the day and didn't even charge me. One thing that stuck in my mind during our conversation, is that he said what is important to him is his family, and that he only works 40 hours a week to make sure he spends quality time with his wife and kids. This is before I had kids of my own but it really stuck with me all these years how important it is to have your priorities straight. I so much enjoyed our conversation and his shops customer service, that I have brought multiple cars to his shop for glass repairs throughout the years. Just recently, I called him about a classic car I have been working on that needed a windshield and rear glass installed. He graciously said he would come to my house so we could install it together. There are very few people that still know how to properly install glass in a classic car, as the stainless trim needs to fit perfectly flush with the body of the car and it takes patience to make it look just right. The workmanship is great and I am very satisfied. Also, he was kind to my son and taught him how to make balloon animals in between working on the glass. Took all of 45 min. to replace my Toyota windshield - had a 4pm appt and was out the door by 4:45pm, no hassle. I asked about detailing and they provided a set of quotes for both interior/exterior, no upsell pressure, no nonsense. Conveniently located off of Aurora. Saw 2 other clients come in while I was in the shop, and service was similarly professional. Used Yelp voucher with no issue. Had originally scheduled with Safelite whose quote was a clear $100 higher at $350.62 AND took almost 20 minutes (???) to make my appointment. We had Mike complete a very difficult repair on our boat windshield in 2015 while we watched him install a custom curved glass enclosure on a Grand Banks. Both jobs were not your standard pull & replace work that lots of shops do all the time. The workmanship was so over the top that when my wife & I decided we needed a new window in our current boat, there was only one call we would make to Mike at Quality. I don't write referrals. I needed my windshield replaced, and the seal was coming apart (from a previous sub-quality replacement, apparently) I found this place on yelp and Drove over on a sunny day in the hope that they could help me out without an appointment. Jon greeted me with a friendly smile as soon as I pulled up, and immediately looked at the windshield. He showed me a crack at the bottom which I hadn't noticed and recommended replacing the seal. There were no surprises or attempts to upswell or deceive. I told them I wanted the job done right away and had 2.5 hours to spare. He assured me they could do it in under 2, and three guys immediately got to work (one rushed over to their glass provider to pick up the windshield). They had the job done in under 2 hours and my windshield looks perfect! They did a great job and were very professional throughout the experience. My insurance covered the cost except for the deductible and refused to pay for the seal replacement. Jon at quality auto glass replaced the seal anyway (given it was coming sort) and didn't charge me extra for it (super kind of them!) They also have a $60 for $40 deal on yelp which gave me an extra $20 bucks off! Overall, the quality for the price was a win for me, and I'll absolutely recommend these guys to friends and return there if I ever need auto window work done again. All of their work is guaranteed to last too, so if I have any issues I can come back to them for a replacement, which is very reassuring. read more

This place is fantastic. Last night, some jerk broke into my car and made off with over $2,000 worth of stuff. The rear driver side window was completely shattered. I called Quality Auto Glass around 11am the next day and got an appointment for the SAME DAY at 1:30. They told me it might take about an hour and a half, but they got it done in 40 mins. Could the guys at Quality Auto Glass be more friendly? Yes. Could the improve their people skills in general? Yes. However, the price was the best around, they were fast (quoted as going to take two hours, but was done just under hour and a half) and so far my windshield looks great and the work appears to have been done well. They were never outright rude to my husband or I, but they did seem a bit gruff- I can live with that though for a great price and a good job. The only thing that really bothered me about the whole process was that they were ready to let my husband walk out without any instructions. He had to ask if there was anything he needed to know before the man said no car washes for 3 days, and my husband had to let it sit for a half hour before he left (would have been good to know before he paid and was about to walk out the door). And then it rained, and they didn't mention if that was ok or not?! It appears fine, and hopefully it stays that way, but I would think you should tell the customer these things as your ringing them up. I'll definitely consult them if I need another windshield, just don't let their people-skills scare you away. read more

TLDR: DO NOT go here for crack or chip repair. I went in for a rock chip repair that turned into about an 8 inch crack within a few days. I've seen proper windshield repair results and while the result is never perfect, a reasonable job will stop a crack, fill in the original chip and reduce most visibility of the crack. The result for my windshield was a still very visible crack with a visible stop point, which is where they drill a small hole to prevent the crack from running while filling it in. Nothing seemed to be filled in properly, and it was obvious that they did it in a rush. They were just closing after my "repair" and by the time I got home, the crack had moved a quarter of an inch beyond the stop point. Not only did they not stop the existing crack, odds are, they made it worse. These guys essentially took payment, and made any potentially decent job of repairing this small crack impossible by applying resin to the outside of my windshield (not in the crack). I went here to avoid having to go through the effort of doing it myself, thinking paying for it to be done by people who do it for a living will yield better results. I was wrong. I was charged $70 for a job that will still result in me purchasing a new windshield. Obviously, it won't be from these guys. Avoid going to Quality Auto Glass. read more

I took my nearly-new Mini there to deal with a minor paint issue. My amateur efforts had failed to produce a smooth, like-new finish where some bozo's shopping cart had damaged it. Shawn and Bo took the time to rebuild the finish and buff it to a like-new surface, a far-better result than I had hoped for. The next-best to new. Had I elected to have a body shop do the repair, I no doubt would have had that same result, but at the price of a mind-blowing Visa bill. But my mind was already blown; didn't need more. Removed acid rain etching from all the glass right after we bought the boat. He's repairing the secondary seals on the glass and portholes leaking. His work is the best I've seen!
