Less than 6,000 miles after they serviced my brakes, I noticed the brake pedal had to be pressed much farther than before. I called them immediately and was told it was "normal" and to drive it for a while. The problem never improved. Instead, I started hearing a squeaking noise from the left front wheel. When I inspected the brakes, I found a noticeable groove on the left brake rotor. I contacted them under their warranty. After delays in getting back to me, someone finally came out, looked at it, and told me everything was "normal," that "all Audis are like that," and that the groove was nothing to worry about. That explanation made no sense to me. If it were normal, why was the groove only on the left rotor and not the right? I also checked several other Audi vehicles and did not see the same condition. The technician was dismissive and rude, and my concerns were never taken seriously. My advice is to spend the extra money at a reputable dealership or a trusted repair shop. It may cost more upfront, but you'll have peace of mind knowing your concerns are properly inspected instead of being brushed aside.
