Amazing bakery with great donuts and cheese buns. Definitely worth the visit, extremely reasonably priced items. Super friendly staff, definitely will be back again.

Glamorgan Bakery has been around for a long time dating back to 1977. I wouldn't doubt that the decor has remained the same since day 1; it's an old school, no frills, traditional bakery. They specialize in Dutch baking so lots of options including their famous cheese buns, Texas style doughnuts, cakes, breads and pastries. They were out of fresh cheese buns when we came on a late Saturday afternoon. That didn't stop us though; we took a dozen frozen to go. - Cheese buns ($6.00/dozen) - I was gifted two cheese buns to bring back home to try from K. Not much else to say other than they're delicious! Soft, chewy, cheesy with a touch of oiliness to them. I'll have to come back and try a few more things next visit.

The cupcakes we bought today is the best cupcake my family have. The cupcake is soft and moist from inside. The icing on top is not very sweet like the other cupcakes. That is why im doing this review to help spread the word about the bakery. They serve alot of pastries, breads, ready or made to order cakes! another Glamorgan Bakery master piece! chocolate cake!

Always love the cheese buns! I tried the almond tart, donut with raspberry filling and raisin buns today. They are all good, cannot stop eating!

My first visit to Glamorgan Bakery was quite pleasant. The selection is vast, and the treats are definitely tasty! I enjoyed a Texas donut, and got a selection of mini cakes (chocolate, lemon, and chocolate mint) to try later at home. All the cakes were delightful, but I really enjoyed the chocolate cake the most. Moist, yummy, chocolatey the perfect adjectives for this cake. I'd definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Tried florentines for the first time here--such a treat! Cheese rolls are divine. Out of the way but worth the schlep. Staff are sweet.

Don't go to the back lot where Peter's Drive-In is, as they have security watching for people who leave the lot and aren't getting food there. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Pretty small shop but cozy! They have a small fridge area for their desserts, and a pretty extensive menu of drinks. Staff was friendly and working pretty fast to get out all these matcha drinks! - DRINKS - O-Matcha Maple Syrup & Salt Latte: I figured while in Canada, why not get maple syrup whenever I can?! Although it did seem slightly sweeter, I couldn't exactly tell it was maple syrup. The matcha was nice and smooth though! - OVERALL - Happy that we found this matcha shop that seemed to be the only one within this area!

I tried their north 49 honeyberry flavor (always flavors) and their matcha lemon cookie flavor (seasonal flavor). I really liked the north 49 honeyberry flavor because of the slight tartness of the ice cream. I also don't like my ice cream too overbearingly sweet so north 49 honeyberry flavor was a good choice for me. The matcha lemon cookie was a solid optional too for a seasonal flavor. I'm a sucker for matcha flavor and the lemon cookie complemented the matcha well. The lemon cookie also added nice contrasts in texture too. The ambiance is nice too, I like the open space and greenery. I feel like the thorough menu description beforehand was a good touch so I felt very confident in what I wanted when ordering since the descriptions for flavors were so detailed. Would recommend trying Village Ice Cream and there are several locations throughout Calgary!

I went in at 7pm, there were still lots of cake selections to choose from. I got a piece of the Napoleon cake. It was not good at all. It didn't taste fresh. The inside was supposed to be flaky and crispy like a waffle. Unfortunately, it didn't taste like that at all.It was mushy and chewy in the center. They added a lot of icing sugar to make it sweet and attempted to make it fancy looking. But that is just add on that I can go to any grocery stores and get and put it on any cake. the top 2 cracker pieces were not crispy at all. It was super chewy like it has absorbed a lot of moister that it is no longer fresh. I am not sure if they made the cake the night before or if it has been sitting for days unsold in the fridge. I have had way better cake before. The piece of cake was not worth $3.99. Note that this place is ran by Chinese and sells Hong Kong style cake. They do not make French pastries or cakes. They are also not a Japanese cake store. I have been to France and Japan and no their cakes don't look even close like their cakes. I will not be back and will not recommend coming here. Every time I come, I am consistently seated near the entrance, even though there are many other tables available. I also always order a decaf Americano.
