Wonderful experience with Giovacchini Construction from start to finish. We purchased a home with a great deal of termite and water damage within the crawlspace and subfloor. Jesus and the team were communicative, always on-time, clean, courteous, and knowledgable. They were also always open to me adding in a few more jobs while they were working on the house (thank you!). Would hire Giovacchini in the future for any construction needs. Our experience was excellent and exceptional working with GIOVACCHINI Construction on our Brace & Bolt earthquake retrofit. They took care of every aspect of the project with outstanding communication, best pricing, efficient processing from estimate to obtaining permit, completion of work and final inspection. Nothing could have been better. Everyone at this company was competent, friendly, and easy to work with. Outstanding experience read more

We hired Giovacchini Construction to do a seismic retrofit on our house from the mid 1950s, and they were very communicative, on time, provided a thorough plan and drawings, and correctly managed their side of EBB grant portal (which included the necessary plan and before/after photos). They came in slightly higher priced than a few other contractors, but we were impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail in their planning work, so we strongly felt they were going to do the job to our (and to California Residential Mitigation Program's) satisfaction. The work went quickly and as planned, and we feel safer knowing our house is now firmly mounted to its foundation. We will definitely be hiring them again for other projects! read more

Great customer service from everyone I dealt with from Vince who gave the estimate , Anna in the office and Joe who performed the work. Had subterranean termites under my home and excess moisture so followed Vince's recommendation in having vapor barrier installed and sprayed under my home and drilled and treated the perimeter for me as well. Best price I got from three different companies and by far the friendliest and easiest to work with. Thank you for helping me protect my home for my family. Highly recommended! read more

My experience with Giovacchini Construction regarding my project was professional from start to finish. I had other companies provide bids based on a minor inspection from the access point. They did not build my confidence. Jesus spent an hour under the house, mapping the work that needed to be done. He then explained everything that they would do to meet the grant requirements. Anna communicated with me throughout the process to keep things on track. Jesus and Joe arrived when scheduled and completed the job. I am not one to hire contractors and would generally do the work myself, but I highly recommend Giovacchini Construction for your Brace and Bolt project. read more

Matt Evans and the other technicians with GioCo Pest are smart, persistent, well-trained and thorough in the fight against intrusive rats under the buildings of our wild land adjacent condo community. Sealing the buildings, monitoring traps monthly, as well as sweeping for any newly chewed access points. These guys are as relentless as the rodents seem to be. Matt communicates very well with owners and tenants, arranging access to crawlspaces under each home, and is a true partner. He receives ongoing training to stay abreast of new developments in the pest wars and brings fresh ideas to projects. From insects to Norway rats, Matt does the research to recommend the best approach, keeping environmental concerns in mind. GioCo Pest is our go to pest control partner. read more

Just wrapped up a guest bathroom and laundry room remodel. Could not be happier with the level of professionalism and quality of work. John was our project manager and came to check on work often. There was a small miscommunication at one point, but he went above and beyond expectations to make up for it Weston was the main guy working on our project and he was awesome. Legitimately treated it as if he was working on his own house. All subcontractors used were courteous and professional as well. I would absolutely recommend Giovacchini Construction to anyone, and look forward to working with them on future projects on our house read more

We hired Giovacchini to complete an earthquake retrofit through the California brace and bolt program. We were very impressed with how well they knew the grant process, their responsiveness, and how great every staff member was to work with. Everyone including estimator, the office staff, and the guys who came to complete the work were friendly and kind. They made the whole experience as painless as possible and I highly recommend them. read more

We selected Giovacchini Construction in Petaluma, California, to do the Earthquake Retrofit, and could not have been more pleased or satisfied with the process and results. Everyone we interacted with at this company, including the Office Manager, Site Supervisor, and Construction Workers were all highly professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with (whoever hires there is to be commended). The Retrofit project is not uncomplicated and Bre, the Office Manager, led us through each step of the process. Her responsiveness and thoroughness to our many questions was stellar. Without hesitation, I recommend Giovacchini Construction for your constructions needs. read more

Ended up not closing the deal with Vince but he was super professional, honest and quick to answer all my questions.

Very poor communication from this company. I called them and explained everything clearly, set up an appointment for a Contractor to come over to assess and get a quote. Once the day came he arrived and refused to actually go up to look at our chimney up close because the grade was too steep and he wasn't informed ahead of time so hadn't come prepared. In my book, shouldn't it have been asked when I set the appointment? Then he tried to up sell some gutter cleaning. We really just needed a giant hole in our chimney fixed asap, and needed to check for water damage. He never even came to look at the water spot inside the house and claimed that he wasn't told to do so. Again, I was VERY thorough with what was going on over the phone. How many channels was I supposed to have gone through to get this simple appointment taken care of? John (the Contractor) said to just give him the approximate measurements of the sheet rock over the phone, which I did, and that he would get back to us with a quote the next day. Well, that was Tuesday and we still have yet to hear back from anyone, despite calling in to check for any progress. Thanks for wasting our time. I understand businesses being busy, but this was just downright insulting. Just happy we found someone reliable to get the job done before it starts raining. read more

I use GioCo Pest for residential and commercial buildings and have been very happy with their service. Jose T has been great to work with. He is very reliable and makes a great effort in providing excellent customer service. I even get an email the day before his scheduled service with times of arrival. This helps me notify the tenants easily. . I would recommend GioCo Pest. read more

Living on a small farm and lots of acreage having some pests are to be expected. But when it started to get out of hand I called GioCo Pest Control. Jose promptly returned my call and was able to inspect my home the next day. There was no long wait or forgotten phone calls. We did a thorough walk around the house he was able to set up his equipment and traps during that visit. We have been working with GioCo for about 3 months now and have caught about 20 rats! I know gross! But with his expertise we found the source of the problem and a solution! Whenever I'm in need of pest control tech he is there to answer questions and service my home. Courteous, knowledgeable, professional and reliable. Can't ask for much more! read more

I had Vince and his team replace some dry rot on my house and I couldn't be happier. I own a local Roofing & Gutter company and I work for over 100 contractors, this is who I chose to work on my own personal house. Showed up on time and stuck with the project until it was complete. My wife and I discovered about three weeks ago that we had termites in the wall and the ceiling of our kitchen. After interviewing about four companies, we settled on Giovacchini Construction in Petaluma, California. Matt Evans and Joe Allen did a terrific job. Fast, efficient, friendly, a big truck, and lots of gear. Ricardo Cortez was the manager. As long as the termites stay away, we are very satisfied with their work. Hired Giovacchini Construction to replace the siding on my house.  Vince came by the first day to go over the project with me and Matt ran the show.  Awesome guy and great communicator.  Job well done! read more

Jon came out quickly the next day and gave me his free honest inspection on a wooden table that had beetles. He even helped me move out the furniture as a courtesy. Great guys! read more

Great service. They were easy to work with, communicated in a timely manner and really seemed to care. The particular person that came out was knowledgeable and walked me through everything. You could tell he cared that I knew what my options were. I received a call in a quick turn around time from my quote request and one the day before my appointment. They were on time and had a mask on, overall a really great experience as a new home owner! read more

I'm writing this review as a collaborator not a customer. We're electricians working with Jon Anderson, Jesse and Orlando on a project in Sebastopol. At every turn, when we needed some help, these guys were there to lend a hand. I'm impressed with their values, their professionalism and the commitment to quality work. Orlando even stuffed some holes in the drywall with steel wool to keep out the critters. Even though we were all working under a short fuse, these guys seemed to just go with what the customer wanted and needed even it her choices weren't in GioCo's best interests. I would highly recommend these guys even though they're not the low priced provider. read more

Vince did a wonderful job of remodeling our master bedroom, bath and a guest bath. Listened carefully, responded promptly - and the rooms turned out great. When we had trouble with one window after construction, he arranged for it to be replaced. Upbeat personality, careful craftsman - we highly recommend him. read more

Vince runs a small home repair/construction business. We had a shower pan leak, discovered while installing hardwood floors (not his work). He was recommended and was an excellent contractor with which to deal. He was under the house immediately and found the damage caused by the long term leak. He was quick to make the fixes (shower demolition, joists under the house, sub floor repair) and had a tile contractor for new tile installation. He was ALWAYS very responsive to requests and changes, and in constant touch. He came by several times just to check up on the subcontractor. I highly recommend him for this type of work. read more

Highly recommend! They were on time, responsive, super friendly workers, kept the area clean, responsive to emails and phone calls. Would definitely use them the next time I need a contractor. read more
