I reached out for some handy man services and after about 10 failed attempts I finally got them to come out. after telling me the job would be easy an no problem it was one thing after another. trying to get more money out of me seemed like everyday. which I didn't understand since we already had a price set which the owner might have forgotten about since he seemed like he was on drugs. My gate to my backyard fence had fallen apart and I didn't have time to fix it myself so I called Ask-a-task. Daniel, the owner, answered quickly and was out at my house within a short time. Gave me a fair price and I gave him the go ahead. He got right to work after a quick trip to Lowe's. We rent so we wanted to reuse as much as we could. He was able to reuse the pickets and fixed our gate really well. He installed new hardware and hinges also. I would definitely recommend him to help us out again. Ask a Task is our "go to" for our tasks around our house . We first used Daniel back in Sept 2020 when we saw his ad on Facebook. He came over to give us a quote on the tasks we needed completed. Power wash, repair gutter, replace broken screens, and replace an old mailbox. He gave us an amazing quote and we scheduled a date. We were so satisfied with the quality of his work and professionalism, we talked about the idea of painting the outside of our home. Come October, Ask A Task made it happen at an amazing price. We communicated a week prior and planned accordingly. Ask A Task gave our house a brand new look. We were even able to add on their service of replacing our porch light. After the house was painted we talked about prices for doing a temporary and affordable fix to our old deck that was giving our kids splinters. A week later he was able to make our deck look and feel much better with deck over. That too was an amazing transformation. A few weeks later we scheduled holiday lights to be hung up and cleaning of gutters. End of November, Ask A Task comes through and amazes us. Now for the first time we had Christmas lights hung up on the outside of our house. He also fixed an outside outlet while he was at it so that we didn't have to run extension chords through the garage. Now it's January and we knew we wanted to begin the new year on a lighter load and a brighter future. We booked Ask A Task for a dump run, and replace light fixtures in our kitchen. They arrived on time that was given, loaded up their trailer with our pile of junk, took down Xmas lights, and replaced 2 light fixtures. Replacement lights are so nice and clean, and now we have much more space in our garage thanks to their dump run service. Daniel & Daniel are the best. Communication is great. I'd love to have tried them, but I called, spoke with Daniel, made a reservation 2 weeks out, and then nobody showed at the appointed time. Clear directions were provided. 1 hour after the appearance was to happen I phoned, got the answer machine, left my name and number again, and said I was still waiting patiently. It's been a week. No show; no callback. If I'm too far away or something came up, just call. If you got lost and couldn't find me, just call.
