I was excited to try this place, which appears to be more upscale than its competition of other Italian restaurants in Stuart. The hostess was warm and showed us to a table. Our server was very nice and informative at the beginning, and took our order accurately. She brought an amuse bouche which was some puff pastry containing fresh arugula, prosciutto, and mascarpone cheese, which was very nice, along with some good Italian bread and very, very good Italian olive oil. We complemented the establishment on the olive oil and she proudly revealed that it was indeed special and that they even sold it. She never followed up on that. She didn't follow up on much. Two other people brought the pasta course that we ordered. My pasta with clams was delicious and my friends pasta with shrimp scampi was also very good. His glass of white Bordeaux was also nice. The restaurant looks nice, if minimalist. The chairs are attractive, but rather hard to sit on. I made these observations because it took a very long time between finishing our pasta and getting our main course. Our initial server came by only once, and then to misinform us that the fish would be ready in two minutes. It was not nearly 10 minutes later a different server positioned his platter, not so much table side, but halfway between our table and the bathroom. Did I mention they seated us at the table closest to the bathroom? Anyway, he then I guess I'd have to say unceremoniously crack, the salt crust in which the bronze it was baked and did a less than immaculate job of filling it and putting it on a plate. He then brought the plate to the table. My truffled chicken dish appeared three or four minutes later, which at this price point is pretty much sloppy Delivery. I blame it on our initial server, who displayed every skill necessary, but one, that being she does not know how to turn her head on her neck to survey a dining room and instead walks out without making eye contact with all of our tables when she's not hiding in the kitchen. Yeah, we were disappointed in her service and she abandoned us pretty much halfway through the meal. The food did taste good but I would not put up with this glacially paced pretentious place. 1st time there..very pretty place, Zen like. We started with a complimentary lil delightful delicious bite and then beef carpaccio and kale salad, both were delicious. They have a nice by the glass wine list. I had a special, house made pappadelle with white bolognese, yummy; husb had clams and spaghetti. Bread was so nice and crisp. For dessert we went wild and each got our own, creme brûlée which had a nice hint of orange, we also had a chocolate mousse. Everything was enjoyed, service impeccable. It was my bday and the chef came and sang so beautifully, opera like. Certainly a special place, I look forward to enjoying again. The ambiance is just so relaxing and perfect. read more

Amazing dining experience! In European fashion they take pride in their business, are knowledgeable about the industry, and offer impeccable service. From the ever-changing bombas, vast wine selection, detailed menu item descriptions (given table side), and delicious specials we could not have asked for more. I had a fish (sole?) special that was perfectly cooked thinly sliced potatoes with a decadent sauce, smoked spinach and carrots--excellent, we also had the tomahawk pork chop, juicy, tender and served with a beautiful presentation. Special melon gelato with a liquor pour over the top made for a truly unique flavor. I have always heard d when a restaurant offers a special go for that--so glad I did. I have the branzino which per usual is served table side but the server struggled to filet the fish correctly and left a lot of the meat on the fish. read more

The experience of dining at Giordi is nothing short of spectacular. I have had the pleasure of dining here twice and both for were absolutely amazing. The restaurant is beautiful, it reminds me of being on a costal beach with the light and airy atmosphere. The service is absolutely incredible. The servers are very knowledgeable of the menu and take the time to explain things. I recommend discussing wine parings with their amazing Somali. I will always recommend the beef carpaccio they do an amazing job. Even more recently I enjoyed the salmon carpaccio which had so many layers of delectable flavor. The pasta dishes are all incredible but I would recommend enjoying the specials the chefs changes on a daily basis. To wrap up your meal be sure to enjoy and digestivo and the affargato. read more

he ambience was pleasant and the service was excellent, but the food was absolutely awful and outrageously expensive. There were four of us and we all ordered something different but no one enjoyed their meal - from appetizers to dessert. The food ranged from tasteless to odd tasting to poor quality. It was supposed to be a special night of celebration which turned into a huge and very costly disappointment. It's no wonder the restaurant was half empty. We could've had a much more enjoyable and much more reasonably priced meal at any number of local restaurants. We left hungry and feeling robbed. read more

We had a reservation for New Year's Eve at 6:45. Reservations had been made 2 weeks prior to the date. When we arrived, we were told we only had an outside table. The temperature was about fifty degrees outside and dropping. My sister is handicapped. The hostess informed us that I only had an outdoor table reservation. I'm certain I did not reserve for outdoors as my sister is sensitive to cold because she suffers from MS. The woman at the front desk argued with me and insisted that I had reserved outdoors and that they could not seat us indoors. We were dressed for New Year's and other options should have been made available to us such as moving a table from the outside indoors to accommodate us, another option would have been to comp us dinner that we could take home. As we left for my car the manager came out and apologized. He pointed out that when reservations are made on Open Table and there isn't seating available, the app automatically kicks the reservation to outside. I had no prior knowledge of this. The manager offered no solutions. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant and the prices reflect that! We will never go back after we were treated so poorly. Stay away! read more

Very good, albeit expensive. So for this I will be a bit critical. To summarize...would I go back, yes. Had an extremely enjoyable time. Bread to the table: This was fine. Nothing special. We were asked if we wanted olive oil. I feel like there could be balsamic vinegar, rosemary, other added. 2 appetizer balls of yumminess were complimentary. 1) Wine by the glasses are $15 give or take. We asked the Sommelier what he would recommend based on our taste profile and he pointed to a red blend that was actually priced as one of the lower price points in their wine list, $60, so we said go ahead. Finished that bottle...was an excellent choice. 2) One Appetizer: Ordered the MONDEGHILI for $20. 6 meatballs. Very well done, very delicious. 3) One Salad: Ordered ZOL A + P E R E for $17. I enjoyed but my wife found it too 'vinegary' 4) One Main entree: TAGLIATELLE with lamb ragu. Kitchen split. We loved it. Was around $40. Service was amazing, always on point. Atmosphere is beautiful. Inside and Out. On a nice night try to sit outside. Really nice space. When we got the bill, the wine was $75. Nothing like having an excellent meal only to argue about a charge (reference the earlier point). The answer was 'we'll adjust it this time'. My wife and I had dinner at Giordi with another couple at an early sitting on New Year's Eve and loved every moment of our experience! Giordi is a first class restaurant in all respects and certainly the best and most elegant that I have been to in the Stuart, Florida area. The decor is lovely and the atmosphere is intimate, the menu is terrific with lots of interesting choices, the wine list is well curated (and includes some reasonably priced wines by the glass or by the bottle), the staff is attentive and professional, and our meal was superb! Moreover, it's the sort of place where the owner stops by one's table on a regular basis throughout the meal to chat you up a bit and make sure that everything meets with your approval. Giordi is known to be "expensive," but this is not an entirely fair characterization: it is truly a superior restaurant that offers an exceptionally fine dining experience and is thus worth every penny of the cost -- unlike so may other restaurants that bill themselves as "fine dining" establishments, but leave you with only a disappointing meal and a large bill at the end of the evening. I can't say enough good things about Giordi and we plan to dine there regularly in the future! I should also note that Giordi has a lovely outside dining area which is open during when the weather is pleasant and I think that we will try it on our next visit. If you are looking for a great meal at an elegant restaurant and if you appreciate a truly fine dining experience, by all means give Giordi a try. If you have close friends visiting from out of town or a special event that you want to celebrate, Giordi is the definitely the place to go. read more

I celebrated my birthday at Giordi yesterday and we were 5 people who enjoyed the 7-course tasting menu. 2 of us had the wine pairing. This is the BEST dinner I've ever had in the U.S. and certainly the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to anywhere in FLorida! First time coming to Giordi and it won't be my last! I was blown away with service everyone was so polite and very helpful. The wine expert has very good knowledge and really helped us pick the perfect wine, it was absolutely delicious. The food was incredible! I had the steak special it was perfect the sauce used for the steak was so creamy and delicious accompanied with black rice and veggies, if you are a steak lover I highly recommend! I wish I was giving this place a higher star as I love locally owner, high end dining places. Giordi had exceptional service (which is incredibly important), but the food was good (not excellent as expected). They also had several issues (2 in our instance) with running out of wine/champagne choices on the menu. Usually if a restaurant runs out of a wine option, they handle it by giving you better option for same cost, but that didn't happen here- much to my surprise. Truly an excellent owner/operator but our meals weren't on par for high end Italian. And both were specials- so expectations were high. In particular, my steal special was over cooked and sauce was not tasty and my friend had many many small bones left over after a table side plating. No guest should worry about bones after fish is served. It made the experience not enjoyable. Disappointed but may have just been off night as I heard excellent reviews from friends. read more

This is the best restaurant in Martin County hands down. We moved up from Broward County several years ago and always feel like we have to travel to Palm Beach for fine dining. This is our second visit and we are so wowed by this restaurant again. I'm hesitant to leave this review because I don't want this restaurant to become so popular that it's difficult to get a reservation . The flounder Francese was the best Francese I've ever had. This is truly a hidden gem. The service is top notch and the attention to detail is not lost on this dinner guest. The staff is professional and very helpful with selecting wine and dinner entries. They have a beautiful oasis on the patio with outside service. Fire pits with chairs and couches plus comfortable chairs which makes one feel at home. Just an overall lovely place with an outstanding staff, menu and wine selection. There is an on-site sommelier who is available to answer all your questions and he is very knowledgeable. It's a tiny quaint bathroom but they provide needed items like mouthwash, individual packs of Shout stain remover, floss picks, lady items...just a lovely touch The restaurant is beautiful, the staff are fantastic and the food...phenomenal! The Guazzetto...YUMMMM! The Dover entree...OMG...to die for!!!!! We had 3 desserts and all were fabulous!! The staff and owners were absolutely fantastic! The chef...Giordi...his son and owner Albi were so delightful...Mercedes the hostess was very friendly and professional...and Frank was exceptional. We had the absolute BEST time at Giordis. They treat you like family. We did the tasting menu and they kindly accommodated our vegetarian. Giordi talked us through our courses and sang for us. The Sommelier was fantastic, pairing each dish with a great wine. He also played guitar and sang blue moon for us. We've come and ordered off the normal dinner menu as well. Always a great time! The outdoor area has a great ambiance, but the chefs table is the best experience! The bathrooms are classy, with real towels and aromatherapy. Parking is quite easy. We have been 3 times over the past year and all meals have been excellent. We are typically drawn to the specials, but off the menu the Burrata is the best I have had in FL. The Tagliatelle and Ravioli are consistently excellent. The Short Rib Ragu special is a must if on the evening's menu. Corkage is a reasonable $40 and always comes with Alberto's engaging conversation and expert wine service. We love the modern decor and soothing ambiance. Noise level is very good. I made a reservation for three on 12/14 for 12/21. We wanted the tasting menu and wine pairing. I received the confirmation the same day. Today 12/19 they called and cancelled. They claimed there was a problem with open table. They offered another date but unfortunately my daughter is flying from NYC on 12/21 and flying back on 12/26 . Easter Sunday was the first time we visited this restaurant. We had a reservation for the Chef's Table 7 course dinner. It certainly wasn't the last visit to this gem on the Treasure Coast. Everything without any exception was superb! The quail of course is tiny and it was more finger than food - but still it was delicious. To our surprise after the quail they brought a large bowl with rose petals and filled it with hot water so that we could wash our hands. It wasn't easy to name the "best", "2nd best", and so forth out of the 7 courses of this dining experience. Of the appetizers the "Raviolone" came in first, closely followed by 3 second places (Swordfish Carpaccio, Pappardelle Nere, and the Tonnata), then followed by the meatballs. The overall setting and ambiance of the restaurant was nice and definitely "upscale". However, there was a loudspeaker right behind my seat at the Chef's Table and it was way too loud and disruptive to our table conversation. That loudspeaker should be repositioned where it is less intrusive. The restrooms are small - just one person each and when there's a line you are standing in the restaurant itself waiting for your turn. However, once you make it inside it feels like a spa with plenty of extras and real towels to dry your hands. Now for the only thing I really didn't like: Charging $10 for one glass of ginger ale - and then another $10 for another glass of ginger ale. Even the Capuchino at the end was less expensive with $7 each. Overall our total was $320 for a party of 2 with 1 wine pairing and me having the 2 ginger ales, tip and taxes included. That still was a great value for our 2.5 hours of outstanding dining experience. read more

Interesting location - it's in a roll of stores. Plenty of parking. When you make your reservation (it's a must) ask to be seated in the back. They have a beautiful man made water feature but it does have a zen feel. Okay now for the actual dining experience it's very good! Service awesome! Pricey absolutely! Hands down the steak tartare is an absolute MUST. The rabbit special well let's just say glad we didn't miss it. It could get a little loud so if you want intimate go early. Definitely dress up it seems a lot of diners visit here to celebrate special occasions. Definitely recommend this restaurant. read more
