This place is amazing, the food and service is outstanding. I come once a week. The ambiance is great.

The only reason this gets a 4 is because it's a bit too dark in here. However the food did not disappoint. The fries.. are so good. The chicken picatta was a bit too lemony however the pasta and desserts were amazing. The staff was so nice and attentive. The decor was beautiful as well, I just wish the tables had a bit more light. We will be returning especially for those fries.

Amazing Romanian Cuisine! My boyfriend is Romanian so we had to check this place out. The mamaliga was so good! It reminded me of my mom's cornmeal rolls she used to make for breakfast. My favorite dish was the sarmalute the minced meat inside the cabbage leaves reminded me of canelones but even better because this is gluten free! The flavors were out of this world! Portions are pretty big so plan on sharing or take home for great next day lunch. Service was great. The owner can by to check on us twice. The finale was literally the cherry on top with the papanasi - a traditional fried old fashion donut with farmer's cheese (much like a mascarpone cheese) sweet sour cream and sour cherry jam. Parking on the street is often difficult to find so plan to park a street behind. Can't wait to come again for more Romanian cuisine.

When you have your Hands Tied and Backed-Up Against a Wall.. You don't know where to Look, How to Find, or What Might Happen.. On Valentine's Day Weekend we were Invited to a Family Friend Play along with 4 other Close Friends. Our Mission was to Find a Selected Dining Restaurant for a Party of 6 within the Distance of the Event of the Night. The Search was On, On, then on... With Valentine's Day and Err.. Shall we say Picky Eaters in the Mingle we had quite the Struggle to Find a Place for the 6 of us. Long Story Short, Villa Romana came to the Rescue! We finally found a Booking Available and Reserved! Parking was found in a Nearby Lot, Located on Hollywood Blvd it was an Easy Walk. Once we Entered the Restaurant it was Beautifully Decorated with Booths and Larger Party Size Tables Set-Up to keep in mind; they do Accommodate Large Parties. The Staff was Extra Inviting and Kept Up with our Tables Orders, Delivery, Needs, and Exiting Plates! This was a Huge Plus to See! The Flow was Effortless Over the Table through the Drinks/Appetizers/Entrees! The Food Presentation along with the Quality Taste left us All Impressed! While Ordering My Pappardelle Porcini & Truffle I was Asked if I wanted to Add Chicken or Shrimp; I Asked if I could have Added Veggies Instead and they were More than Happy to Accommodate! We had a Very Nice Dinner here for Our Party of 6! Thank You Villa Romana for coming to the Rescue and making Our Night better than a Nearby Sports Bar~

We were going to the theater and had to have an early dinner so we decided to give this restaurant a try. I must say everybody enjoyed their meal. The service was quick and efficient so we could get out in time for the theater. I must say it was early so they didn't have a lot of customer I actually went there because I read up that it was Hollywood restaurant month unfortunately it was too late for lunch and it was a Sunday and the dinner menu would've taken too long to eat. . I had a Greek salad with shrimp very good. We also had a pasta with shrimp which they said was excellent and we had a seafood pasta which they also enjoyed and an eggplant Parmesan appetizer, which was also enjoyed parking on the street paid parking. also have valets at $10.

Stumbled upon this great stop in downtown Hollywood one night with a friend. It's beautifully decorated and very welcoming. They had a sign outside promoting live music so we decided to stop in for dinner. The drinks and food were wonderful. Service was fast and the servers were so helpful and friendly. Def would recommend!

What a wonderful place! Came with my family for a birthday (party of 14) and it may be our new celebration spot. The ambiance was nice and elegant, the food was fantastic and drinks (lunches martini special) was well balanced & well worth the price tag. There's not many places in Hollywood that pack this much of a punch. Our server Lily was attentive, patient and accommodating. Their happy birthday celebration came with a bubble gun, thought that was so fun! The kids loved it too! Can't wait to go back and check out their live music on Fridays and Saturday! Great for a date night or a girls night out as well!

Mahi Mahi & Mashed Potatoes

It was a beautiful day in Hollywood and I was craving a salad. I chose this place once I saw they had a 3 course lunch special. It was pretty slow at this time so I was able to be seated immediately - I chose the patio to people watch. The server and host were great and very attentive. I ordered a sangria (which would've tasted better in a wine glass), a Caesar salad, blackened mahi with mashed potatoes and tiramisu for dessert. The sangria tasted like juice, salad was finely chopped and the dressing was off. The mahi was pretty decent as well as the mashed potatoes. The tiramisu was the highlight, light and airy yet delicious. It was good but overall left a lot to be desired.

Spencer R.

The service was great and our waiter was friendly. We enjoyed the fine dining at reasonable prices, and the atmosphere made for a romantic dinner. If you get dessert, the tiramisu is worth it!

Salmon Carpaccio

Dinner here was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Great place for date night and / or family friendly. Friday night had live singer. Server was super sweet and attentive throughout the night. They had one of our favorite wines, which we enjoyed. Definitely a big plus and extra star for that!

The ambiance is very upscale, welcoming, and sets the tone for a memorable visit. Joey the bartender was very professional, kind, extremely welcoming and very apologetic for the Happy Hour lounge being closed the day I visited which was bit disappointing. However, my friend and I still decided to stay and enjoy a cocktail. As we were leaving, we met Tommy the manager, who was just as nice & gave us a tour of the dinner area which I would love to try one day. He briefly chatted with us and gave us his business card. Everything about this place was top-tier. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a classy night out with exceptional service or just a few appetizers & a cocktail.

From the moment we walked in and were handed a glass of prosecco, it was clear this would be something different. There was an intentionality to everything--the pacing, the ambiance, the way each course was introduced. It didn't feel transactional. It felt ceremonial. Each of the six courses represented a different European destination (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece), and what made it extraordinary wasn't just the quality of the food--which was exceptional--but the way the environment transformed alongside it. Lighting, visuals, sound, and narration worked together in a way that made every dish feel contextual and meaningful, rather than simply plated. Every part of this immersive experience contained instruments working in harmony to amplify the meaning of each course. The courses were beautifully composed and balanced. Nothing felt excessive or forced. Each plate served a purpose in the broader narrative, and each wine or cocktail pairing elevated the dish rather than competing with it. What stood out most, though, was how present it made you feel. In a world where most dinners blur together, this one didn't. Time slowed down. You became immersed. Fully engaged. The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and deeply knowledgeable without ever feeling rehearsed or overbearing. You felt guided, not served. Tommy (the owner/proprietor) and his staff were unquestionably five-stars. By the end, you remembered how it felt to be transported somewhere else without ever boarding a plane. It's worth every moment.

We started with the bone marrow appetizer, and it was truly outstanding -- incredibly balanced, rich without being overwhelming, and so good we couldn't stop talking about it. We ordered the steak and eggs. The crunchy brioche, earthy mushroom purée, and beautifully sliced steak came together perfectly, and the saltiness of the caviar tied everything together in a really thoughtful way. The picanha was another standout! incredibly tender and full of flavor. We paired it with the broccolini and wagyu fat potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared the ube cheesecake empanada. We were a bit hesitant at first, but it turned out to be the perfect ending to an already fantastic meal. The cocktails throughout the night were also excellent. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we brought friends back later the same week. That visit was just as impressive -- we ordered the tomahawk steak, garden salad, bone marrow (again!), steak and eggs, truffle fries, broccolini, carrots, and tried all of the desserts. Once again, everything was delicious across the board. The only area for improvement would be the service. Everyone was kind and attentive, but at times too quick to clear plates and not proactive enough with the next course. At a restaurant of this caliber, I'd expect the dessert menu to be offered immediately after plates are cleared, rather than needing to track down a server. Overall, the food is exceptional, and we'll absolutely be back.

Overall, we felt that all the food…read morewas good- definitely had areas of improvement, What bridged the rating gap of the experience was the above and beyond service of the general manager Javier, our waiter and the bartenders. We chose the tasting menu at the counter. The execution of the initial dishes in the tastings were well seasoned. But quickly it was clear that given the restaurant was becoming busy and the food service and the drink pairings were not in sync. Part of a tasting experience is being wowed and enjoying the progression of dishes as you would a performance. Javier and our waiter in particular made sure by the end to ensure our experience was smoothed out. One note about the tasting experience is it lacked a certain level of finesse. While the service team did explain the dishes beautifully, it would have been nice for the chef to come out and explain even one of the dishes, especially with a restaurant that has the potential to share a rich background in history about the dishes and flavors. I found that to be particularly surprising that was not the case. In all of the tastings we have participated in (NY, Paris, Miami, Barcelona, Rome, Shanghai...) the chef has always come by even if for a second and it's in those moments that you really get a sense of the passion and the experience of a tasting. After all the origin story is the thread that would have pulled the elements together. It would have elevated this from an average to a more memorable experience. Overall, the food was solid, but regrettably not memorable. There are certainly elements that can benefit from workshopping (timing, chef engagement, consistent execution of dishes) however would be remiss if I didn't shout out Javier and our waiter for their receptiveness and making a positive end to the evening.

Although interesting for a Russian menu- which I have not had in years. The ambiance is super luxurious, like a nightclub. There is a long bar area with multiple colored lights. There is no street parking, valet at 30.00, and the guys were friendly and helpful. We walked through to the hostess and she was very polite and walked us to a table on the beach with a gorgeous view. The restaurant is beautiful, well decorated and on a sunny Florida day, this is where you want to be..... if there was good service. After you valet, be sure to use the restrooms because it's a journey to and from your table. Now, this is where we thought we were at a self service restaurant. After being seated there was no waiter in sight, the table next to us speaking loud and clear that they have been waiting for their check for over twenty minutes. After 15 minutes, still no server in sight. I got up to go order from the bar, behind me comes our server. He took our order and brought our drinks and that was the end of him. The Pina Colada was a bit too sweet, the rosé, perfect. After we finished our drinks I went in search for our waiter once again. He was nowhere to be found, so I asked another server if we could order a salad, she insisted on finding him for us. Out of nowhere he appeared, and I no longer had any patience. We asked to move tables, for a new server and this is where a true five star service started. We ended with a fantastic, attentive and friendly waiter. He brought us drinks in a timely manner, checked up on us often and reminded us that good service does exist, just not with our first server. Overall, the service needs some serious attention here. We are not sure we would visit again. There are many other places that have great service every time not just sometimes. Cheers!

When we arrived and walked through the front door, the restaurant was completely empty... No host, no staff, no one in sight. We waited around for about 15 minutes before deciding to walk around the property, where we eventually found a side entrance near the bar with two employees. When we told them we were there to dine, they seemed genuinely shocked by the size of our group, despite the fact that we reminded them we had a reservation. We were then asked to wait another 15 minutes while they prepared a table. During this time, the air conditioning inside was not on, which is unacceptable given this is South Florida and the heat can be relentless. We ended up asking to sit outside, which was surprisingly cooler. Once seated, we immediately noticed bird droppings on the floor and on a wall/pillar just inches away from our table. It was very off-putting and confusing why this wasn't cleaned, especially since the outdoor area is clearly meant for guests. Service continued to be disorganized. After sitting for several minutes, we were finally asked if we wanted anything to drink, and we requested water. Immediately after that, we were asked what we wanted to order for dinner -- before we even had time to look at the menu. It felt rushed and poorly timed. When the food began coming out, it arrived in random spurts rather than together. Half of our group received their meals and started eating, while the other half waited over 20 minutes. At one point, more of our food was brought out -- but instead of being served to us, it was left sitting on the bar nearby for about 15 minutes. We had to ask three separate times if that food was ours, get ignored, then FINALLY be told, "Oh yeah, sorry, we'll serve you now." By that point, the food had been sitting out, exposed, and had gone cold. Not to mention we were already outside so I'm sure some flies were on and around the food. The server attempted to give us the food and we told him it was cold. He then said he would "warm it up". We had to explicitly ask for fresh plates, which should never have been necessary. By the time the replacements arrived, the rest of the party had already been waiting 30+ minutes after others had finished eating. The entire experience just felt chaotic. There was obviously a noticeable inconsistency in service. A table next to us appeared to be receiving extremely attentive service, while our table struggled to get even basic needs met. I think they may have been Georgian so they got special treatment. One of the particularly frustrating issues was water -- all of us were drinking water, and not once were our glasses refilled until the very end, when they were completely empty and we were visibly thirsty. Even then, we had to ask for more water!! Because this was a birthday celebration, we had originally planned on getting dessert, but given everything that had happened, we decided to just ask for the check. Getting our check took an additional 20+ minutes to arrive. To add to the confusion, another staff member repeatedly brought food to our table that none of us had ordered, forcing our server to redirect him to the correct tables. It seemed like nobody was trained?? With all that said, the food and drinks themselves were very good overall and tasted unique compared to standard offerings in the area. Our waitress was also very kind, and it was clear she was overwhelmed and likely did not have enough support to properly manage everything. The location is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, with fantastic views of the surrounding buildings and nearby water in Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately, the lack of organization, cleanliness, and basic service overshadowed what could have been a great experience. I really am rooting for them and hoping they can get it together because it has potential.
