Love the pizza here it's not the same as the og in Chicago but it's a good way to get that deep dish craving handled.
We wanted to try a local pizza spot while visiting. We had great service and the deep dish 12' fed our family of 4 perfectly. Each of us had 2 slices or so. I definitely recommend.
Always a great experience at this Giordano's, the staff are always friendly , the deep dish is always delicious (yes I know it's prepared ahead of time and only put in the oven when ordered), and the ambience is always relaxed-great for a last stop before the drive back home from Orlando Would recommend to deep dish lovers, will be back again in the future :)
Always been a go to when in Chicago and loved that we now have one in Orlando. Decent parking spaces, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff. Food is good
We went to Giordano's because my son was craving the chicken parm sandwich. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. My husband and I ordered an original thin crust pizza, which is supposed to be triangle-cut like a regular pizza, but it came square-cut instead. More importantly, the sauce just didn't taste very good, which was disappointing given Giordano's reputation. We also ordered a house salad to split (spring greens, tomatoes, and Asiago cheese). We asked for no fennel, which they accommodated, and the salad was fine -- nothing special, but fine. My son ordered the chicken parm sandwich (breaded chicken breast with house-made marinara and melted mozzarella on toasted garlic ciabatta), along with parmesan garlic fries and tomato bruschetta. The sandwich itself was okay, but the bruschetta missed the mark -- way too many diced tomatoes and the bread wasn't crispy at all. Service was another issue. Our waiter seemed unbothered and hard to find. Every time I tried to get his attention, he was nowhere around. Dirty dishes piled up, and since I couldn't get them cleared, I ended up moving them to the table beside us, which isn't something guests should have to do. Make sure you sign up for the loyalty program at least 24 hours in advance so you can get the $5 off your meal! Overall, it served its purpose, but between the lackluster food and inattentive service, I left feeling less than thrilled. Nothing terrible -- just not a place I'd be eager to rush back to. It's simple and no frills. I wanted to make my son happy; but I wasn't.
Giordano's was the 1st taste of Chicago Deep Dish I ever had, I was 17. I went to school in Chicago and found other places that were better (Gino's, Due, Lou Minati's) I haven't had Giordano's for 30 years. I live in California now, so when I saw they had a location in Orlando I had to try it. It hit me like the 1st time I tried Deep Dish. Great blast from the past!
First time having a real deep dish pizza and it didn't disappoint. I love the concept of how they layer the topping and then cheese and sauce. It gives it a different texture for sure. They really put a heavy amount of jalapeños tho, because I was barely able to finish a slice. I will stay away from jalapeños next time. The chicken wings were plain because we requested sauce on the side, but they didn't give us any sauce. So that was disappointing.
Last night I picked up a large cheese deep dish from Giordano's, and it was nothing short of incredible. The pizza was massive; honestly felt like it weighed ten pounds; and every bite was worth it. * Crust: Perfectly baked, golden, and sturdy enough to hold all that cheesy goodness without being too heavy. * Cheese: Generous, gooey, and satisfying; exactly what you hope for in a Chicago-style deep dish. * Sauce: Rich, robust, and full of flavor. It had just the right balance of tang and sweetness, making each slice pop. We shared it among four people, and everyone loved it. This is the kind of pizza that makes you slow down and savor every bite. If you're in Orlando and craving authentic deep dish, Giordano's is the place to go.
Love the deep dish pizza always. This specific Giordanos is pretty dirty (windows, doors, bathrooms, what you can see of the kitchen when you walk back, the pile of dirty paper towels that sit by the door going back into the dining room). I did let someone know the soap was out in both the men's and women's bathrooms and the paper towels in the women's (mom life visiting both multiple times). Neither was addressed in the time we were there (probably an hour and a half...takes about 45 minutes to get deep dish). Service wise at this place, looked like one person working most of the tables, so I know that can be tough and it was a little slow reflecting that, which isn't her fault. The biggest weird thing though is that we actually took a second to look at our bill (both of us looked). The subtotal didn't add up. So I'm not sure if she already added tip and just didn't have a line for it (maybe it's like an auto thing?) but then when you tap to pay it gives you another spot to tip again. I just think that's a little sketch. We often are in a hurry and don't look, so adding an extra almost $20 and not having a line for it and then also having a spot for another tip can be a little deceptive. There were just the 4 of us, I know it's often auto when it's a bigger table, but we weren't. So, yeah, just weird and felt a bit deceptive. And there was a line for tax, so it wasn't that.
The pizza and service are second to none! I've been here twice! Once was later in the evening with friends and the second time was a late lunch by myself. I travel for business, so after my first experience, I couldn't get this place out of my mind. The decorations are charming! The large ornate bar is a beautiful centerpiece! The pizza is out of this world!
Good Pizza just make sure to to give it some time as all orders are made to order. I make sure to get some every time I'm in Orlando
Sooooooo good!! The deep dish stuffed pizza is very good. The cheese bread appetizer is also great.
Staff inside was friendly, ordered a deep dish with chicken and veggies. The pizza was messed up when I got home though, wish I checked it before I left. It was still good but 1/4 of it was smushed. Super cheesy, would give them another shot next time im in the area

Early Dinner 3:30pm. Pleasantly greeted by hosts and other staff. The dinning area was neat and clean The restrooms are a little dated but they where clean. Food was Hot - Chicago Beef and Parmesan cheese fries. & Large Deep Dish was served for dinner. Server was very attentive to the needs of the Table. There are 2 other restaurants in close proximity of this location. read more

Came with some friends and the vibe was pretty chill...family oriented... Decor was very Chicago...for my Coke heads out there this is a Pepsi establishment We got the meat more meat deep dish and after waiting 45 mins it didn't disappoint!!!! Cheesy, meaty, saucy! read more

Came here for dinner. Place was busy when we arrived. There is plenty of parking to park. Seated within a few minutes. Our server was friendly. She also informed that deep dish pizza will take 40-45 minutes. Deep dish pizza was really good. Overall 4/5 . read more

We've been here a couple times in the past and it was great. Our most recent visit in September 2023 was not like it used to be. Prices are definitely inflated now. Server was not attentive and a bit rude. The pizza was leaking, maybe from the vegetables. But we always get the veggie pizza and it was never watery like it was on this day. read more

Food was terrible. Worst pizza ever. Came inc rot he lunch special the server recommended the thin crust and I ate one bite. The crust is so dry and it's just very bland. The server was not fast even though there was only us and one other party in here. read more

Massively overpriced tourist trap. Not much was open the day before Hurricane Milton, so we ended up here. That was a mistake. My kid got a 10" deep dish pizza (almost $30) and I got a pasta dish. Pasta was decently priced and it was fine. I'n not sure why, but the pizza took an hour to make. Slow, overpriced, touristy. read more

I might be bias but I love Chicago deep dish pizza. During this particular visit, we ordered pasta, thin crust pizza, deep dish and chicken parm. Let me tell you even the sampler app prior was amazing. Where they lost a star is the service. The waiter wouldn't pay attention to us even tho the restrestaurant was empty. Food was great tho. Keep in mind deep dish pizza will take about 45 mins to bake but it's worth it. read more
During my stay in Orlando, my friend really wanted Pizza, so we looked on Yelp for nearby places for delivery and this one popped up. Ordering was simple, since everything was online and they did deliver it to the place we were staying at. The delivery driver was very nice. He called me to let me know he was on his way and whatnot. When I greeted him at our location, he was also very kind in ensuring we got what we paid for. We ordered the Chicao Style Thin Crust Pizza. It was very delicious and hearty. The cheese layer on top held all the toppings that were below, which included the mushrooms and pepperonis. Because of how thin crust it was, you can eat it with a knife and fork or just use your hands. Regardless of how you choose to eat it, it was a delicious pie to share with my friend. Overall, it was a very good pizza. Even the next day we had leftovers, eating it cold was still satisfying. I would order from here again. read more

We love Chicago deep dish pizza, and have been to Chicago a couple of times and always visit Giordano's. When we found out there was one in our own backyard, we were so excited! Make sure if you go, you have time, as the deep dish takes about 45 minutes to cook. Make sure to pair it with Chicago's very own, Goose Island 312. read more

We came with a youth group of 23 people after spending the day at an amusement park. We ran late for our original reservation and lost it (completely understandable and expected), but when we called to see how long the wait would be if we showed up now, the hostess willingly put us down on the wait list so that it would be time for us to be seated. When we arrived, we were seated within 5 minutes and quickly ordered. I want to give Brenda a huge "thank you!!!!" because she was absolutely amazing. She was always coming to us with a huge smile and positive attitude. She was very willing to accept our MANY requests (remember, 23 people!). And on top of that, the restaurant closes at 11, but our food didn't come out until about 10:55 because we ordered so much (about 8-10 deep dish pies). Despite all that, she was still willing to help us and pack our food for us. She really made the experience so much better! The food was obviously amazing, but Brenda really made it a spectacular experience. read more

If you like deep dish Chicago style pizza, give this place a go! They are in a strip plaza at the corner of Universal Blvd and Sandlake Road. The parking lot is large and it's easy enough to get in and out. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated quickly. They have paper menus and it's easy to navigate. We opted for a large deep dish to split between four adults (it was more than enough!) and we did a sausage, onion and mushroom. The deep dish pizzas take about 35 minutes to cook, so be sure to allow time. They so have a kid's menu and we got our little the spaghetti with meat sauce. It was out quickly and she loved it. Restaurant itself is clean and they are distancing tables. All staff was wearing masks. Overall: A A great pizza joint in the Universal / I-Drive area. If you love deep dish pizza, give this place a go! read more

Oh, il mio amore! I FINALLY got around to trying Giordano's on my cheat day DELISH. Honestly, who doesn't want a pizza with a deep dish crust and STUFFED with ooey gooey cheese?! I got the order delivered. I loved that the crust still was flaky and toasty upon arrival- a lot of deep dish pizzas are soggy by the time you get to eat it at home. Not this yummy pizza! I gave them 4-stars because I also ordered the calamari and wasn't that satisfied with it- it was okay and curbed my craving, but I probably wouldn't order it again. I didn't quite understand the deep-fried lemon rings that came with it, and had quite a few of them in my order. But I will most definitely be ordering pizza from Giordano's again! read more
Underwhelming experience. I guess u gotta Goto Chicago for the real deal. Lukewarm small stuffed deep dish cheese pizza with tons of cheese and bland taste with mediocre crust spells disappointment. Original Giordano's would not be happy with this experience. (I've beenTo the Chicago store). If pizza is not smoking or hot, don't serve it. Luke warm cheese is not appetizing. It just tasted like it was not fresh, I'm hoping this was not previously frozen. Lotta food but I will throw out the leftovers. Waitress was very nice and friendly. Restaurant had no atmosphere and dead at dinner time on a Wed night. I was hoping for better, sorry. read more

Omg! Home of the deep dish pizza in Orlando! The outside was inviting and so so inside the dining area. All the staff was friendly and smiling. Which lead me to believe they love their jobs. I saw co-workers engaging in conversation and helping each other out. Mom orders for us... pizza, chicken Alfredo, mozzarella cheese sticks and salad. All of it was just so OnO! The portions were huge and we had to take it back to the hotel. But we definitely ate all of it. When I'm Orlando, a must stop! Check it out read more

Having been to Giordano's in the Chicagoland area, I know they're a big name in the deep dish pizza game. Having had amazing experiences at locations in the past, I figure I'd give their Orlando location a fair shake to see if they could replicate the deep dish pizza magic. Sadly, much like most Florida pizza, it was a cheap imitation. The decor at this location is nice and inviting, but there is virtually no vibe or atmosphere once seated...it's almost as if you're in a cafeteria trying to bide the time while 45 pass for your deep dish pizza preparation. The cheesy garlic bread (2/5) was merely passable, with very small hints of garlic. It wasn't bad, but it just was very expensive and unmemorable for what you get (runs to over a dollar for each small rectangular wedge). We ordered a medium cheese deep dish pizza. In hindsight, I should have ordered a small since it was simply too much food. If you're on the fence about a size to order for deep dish pizza, I'd recommend sizing down. The cheese deep dish pizza (2.5/5) came out in about 40 minutes which was pretty close to the 45 minute estimate. There was cheese oozing out where the slices were cut, which had me hopeful for great deep dish. Even though loaded with massive amounts of cheese as a proper deep dish should have, the cheese was majorly underwhelming and plain tasting. The crust had virtually no flavor and even the tomato sauce on top seemed like an afterthought dried up and without much flavor. Sure, it'll fill you up, but the quality just wasn't there. I don't mind an occasional heavy meal if it's fulfilling, but this was heavy and average at best. I've had much better and more flavorful pizza when it comes to sauce, cheese, and crust at my local Pizzeria Uno's. Maybe I visited this location on an off night, but it definitely didn't live up to the quality of Giordano's locations in the Chicago area. Our waiter was friendly and happy, and was on top of his game in drink refills, so based on his service, rounding up to 3 stars despite a lackluster pizza experience. read more

I haven't had this place in a very long time and decided revisit it during our trip . We didn't really have to wait for a table when we arrived but I did have to ask for our table to be switched from the enclosed outside area to inside air circulation was bad and it was pretty hot in there. Because we ordered a deep dish it took 45 minutes or so to get our actual order. They were super busy and definitely seemed short staffed. They got busier after we got there . We finally got our food it fell a little short in the flavor department but we managed . The thin crust margarita pizza wasn't my favorite tasted to much like Parmesan. The spaghetti with Marinara was ok but that to fell short of flavor. All in all decent experience but definitely expect a wait for the food. read more
