Eternally skeptical of a police themed spot but the pizza was REMARKABLY good! The service was prompt and friendly.

Nah. It's just OK. Location is nice, and there is a lot of space inside. Some odd vibe in between wait staff and managers - were arguing with each other right in front of customers. Besides that, the service was way too slow. The pizza was decent, but nothing much better than a Domino pizza. Price isn't too bad, but for the quality it was. Not a repeat

I came to NYPD for a team lunch after a coworker recommended their great lunch special, and it didn't disappoint. For just $6, I got a soda and two large slices of pizza. The meal was delicious and very filling. Our server was fantastic. They were attentive with our drinks and quick to bring out everything we needed, including utensils, extra napkins, and sliced limes. We came during the lunch rush but were seated right away, and the wait for the food was reasonable.

The food is great. I have been a few times already. The host and staff are attentive and super polite I recommend the meatballs (one time I just had the meatballs only they are so good and rich in flavor). It's an appetizer but just not enough to fill you up. Sadly I try to not eat the mitre pie each time.... I finish the entire pie The beers on draft and nice as well. I am happy to support this location. It's a pleasure honestly.

Food was good. I would get the mozzarella sticks again, I do wish though that it came with 6 and not 5. The cheese and pepperoni pizza were good. The dough would be on of my complaints it just wasn't crunchy like a NY slice would typically be. It also was not as flavorful as would like. The mozzarella sticks though were perfectly country and had a good flavor ! Like I would probably call the food average It's convenient though.

What a box!

Well, I'm an NYC Boy...44 years' worth, so I consider myself quite knowledgeable about a good pie. Orlando is the last place I'd normally even come CLOSE to ordering a pie, much less having one delivered. Since I now live in the Tampa/Clearwater area, I have one spot we use on a regular basis and a second one on reserve. Meantime here I am in Tourist Trap Central for a week of R&R with my Queen Bee. Guess who wanted pizza? Anyway, I ran across this place which seems to make itself a living homage to my Native Land. I called to order and even tho the girl asked me to confirm a few things twice, she was pleasant and efficient. I only ordered a pie; nothing else. Thus, enter the Sandman: large Mariano add sausage (as an inveterate Yankee fan, I get the reference). Read the description of a pie with garlic, tomato, fresh basil and olive oil; sounded nom noms so there we go. 45-55 minute delivery. Less than 35 minutes later: ding dong! Delivery dude was very nice as well. I preface the pizza itself with the caveat that it was delivered rather than eaten at the restaurant. The crust was certainly baked toward the well done side and had a fairly decent chew for being a fairly thin crust. It didn't taste old; a lil dense but not doughy by any means. Slightly sweet note on the back end as well, so a fairly decent dough overall. Nice amount of toppings too. Queen Bee thought there was too much mutz on the pie; I disagree. The mutz was of good quality also. Had there been too much, then the whole mess might've flopped rather than pass the "fold" test. THAT would've resulted in a one-star review! Since we are only gonna be here another couple of days, it doesn't really allow much time to try other stuff on the menu or even visit them for a fresh slice at lunch. Too bad, because the names of many of their items make me wanna try these people again. Suffice it to say that next time we stay here,it'll be a sure stop. This NYC boy is happy!

Margherita pizza

This is one of the Orlando locations on Universal. Located in a strip mall with lots of parking. Food (3.5/5) - had the Margherita and it was average overall in my opinion. It's NY style in ways but I was hoping it would have a bit more of a traditional Margherita taste. Wasn't sure if was San Marzano or not.. bit bland to me. Service (4.5/5) - very attentive and friendly from the host to the order person. Pizza from order to table in about 15 minutes. Atmosphere (4/5) - pretty good layout with tables and booths. Also TVs for evening snack and a beer. Overall (4/5) - it's a good spot and solid overall. Kinda wanted the Margherita to be bit more flavourful but will return and try out some of the other choices too.

Pizza was nothing to write home about.

This place was only okay, the wings weren't bad they just didn't have enough sauce (I asked for extra hot sauce for our wings, and they charged me for it). The pizza left a lot to be desired. It just lacked texture, flavor, and everything that you love in a pizza. The waitress acted as if she didn't want to be at work that day, so it was just not a great experience overall.

Tons of great options if you're looking to eat some fresh and healthy. I ordered the Wok bowl and although it sounded like my cup of tea, it didn't taste like it. The bowl itself looked delicious, and the rice and chicken were both actually warm to my surprise! The rice itself however was a little hard and the chicken was a bit bland. I wish I would've asked for the sauce on the side or maybe added some sauce to my chicken to give it more flavor as all my sauce ended up on the veggies and really didn't enhance absorb the peanut sauce (which was great). I will say this bowl was packed and honestly offered a good amount of food for the price (~$14 to 15) I would definitely give this place another chance because there were definitely other items that caught my eye. I know the wok bowl definitely has potentially and wouldn't knock this place out after my first experience!

I invited a small group to lunch and celebrated birthdays with a meal for two friends....I bought lunch after signing up for the rewards program. I opted to take the requisite photo of my receipt and have the meal credited to my rewards account. The points were never added. There is no customer service phone number to call for assistance. And the phone number at the corporate office only leads to voicemails. So I sent an email. No reply. It's been 3.5 months. A few days ago I decided to call the store for two reasons (1). to see if they could lead me towards resolving this issue before make my next rewards-motivated purchase, and (2) to see if they would be able to pull together a last minute event for 23 people. When I called, I started by asking about the rewards program issue. A young lady announced that the manager had just left the store 20 minutes earlier. She said he could call me the next day when he returned--somewhere between 12 and 4 pm. I said okay and gave her my name and number. The next day at about 330, I had not heard from the manager Dennis So I called the store and a young man answersed the phone. He didn't identify himself, so I asked if he was Dennis. He asked me to hold on a minute, so I did. An older sounding man answers the phone, also not identifying himself. So I said "hi, are you Dennis?" He replied "if you are selling something, we don't want it". I responded "I'm not selling anything, I'm a customer. I'm trying to reach Dennis". The call was then disconnected. About an hour later I called back, hoping that the call had been inadvertently dropped. Again, the young fee-sounding man answered. I explained that I thought we had bbeen disconnected when I called earlier. He replied "please hold on a moment". I said "okay", feeling that the first call had indeed been disconnected. The call then resumed, with the older sounding gentleman answering "hello". I said "hi". The call was again discontinued and I heard silence. I cant imagine why a business would not want to speak with a person who identifies as a customer. I had a question to ask about their process and an order for food that they sell. While this was at one point my preferred spot for my vegetarian diet, I can honestly say that I would not recommend anyone go there, if their service continues at the level I experienced. Why would anyone call a business that repeatedly hangs up on customers trying to do business with them?

The shop has a cute atmosphere, and I love that they carry fun items like blind boxes and unique Asian ice creams. Unfortunately, my most recent experience with customer service was disappointing. My partner and I came in to purchase milk teas, and one of the drinks was not something we liked (had a chalky texture as the powder was not fully mixed, but did not tase like the flavor we had ordered)--we had only taken a small sip. When we asked about possibly exchanging it, the employee told us, "we don't really do exchanges." I understand that policies vary, but it felt frustrating to have already paid for a drink we wouldn't be able to consume and then be expected to buy another one (which we did). Many larger companies are willing to fix a product if a customer is unhappy, and I believe good customer service--especially from small businesses--can make a big difference. I'm not someone who usually complains or enjoys confrontation, but we ultimately didn't like the product and hoped there might be a solution. Because of this experience, I'm not sure if I'll return to this location, though I may try a different store in the future.

I went with the Volcano Bowl, which comes with white rice, crab meat, and tempura shrimp. The bowl itself was really satisfying and packed with flavor. My only small complaint is that I expected a bit more heat since it's labeled a Volcano bowl. A little spice would have taken it to the next level, but overall it was still very enjoyable. What really makes Quickly stand out is that it's much more than just a poke bowl spot. Their dessert selection is honestly one of the most unique I've seen. They carry novelty ice creams you definitely won't find in a typical grocery store. The one that caught my eye was the "fried chicken" ice cream, which is actually ice cream shaped like a crispy chicken drumstick. . Right next to it was a hamburger ice cream sandwich. If you're someone who loves trying fun or quirky desserts, this place is absolutely worth checking out. The shop itself has a nice setup and a modern feel, with plenty of snacks and treats available if you're browsing for something extra after your meal. The one downside during this visit was the service. There were two employees on staff one hanging out in the back while the other was working the front but never acknowledged customers walking in. After we ordered through the kiosk, the order was looked at and then the employee walked to the back to chat while we waited. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't the most attentive service. That said, we've been here before and the service was much better, so I'm willing to chalk this up as just an off visit. Even with the service hiccup, the food still came out fresh and tasty, just like we remembered. Between the solid poke bowls and the incredibly unique ice cream and Boba tea options, Quickly is definitely a spot worth stopping by if you're in the area. You'll find it in the Publix plaza next to NYPD Pizza on Universal Boulevard, across from Rosen Shingle Creek. Pros: * Tasty poke bowls * Super unique novelty ice creams * Fun snack selection * Many Boba selections Cons: * Service could be more attentive Tips * Save room for dessert--the novelty ice creams are worth checking out along with their multiple boba tea selections

We each wanted a sandwich and 18 Monroe Street Market, located downstairs in this hotel next to the pool area, was the perfect option. 18 Monroe Street Market offers lots of made to order hot sandwich options as well as hoagies and other foods. Beyond that, the market itself offers several kinds of snacks, chips, soups, soft drinks, beer and wine, and also things like basic toiletries and some souvenirs. This is not a typical hotel snack shop with just a few grab and go sandwich options and a couple of beer or 6 oz wine selections. Rather, it's set up like a small full-service grocery store with made to order sandwich and food options and it features Seattle's Best coffee. For lunch I had the Italian hoagie which came with a bag of chips for $15 and it was so large I ate 1/2 of it, then used a fork and knife to enjoy the contents from the other 1/2 similar to an open-faced sandwich. Staff here were all friendly and outgoing and there was plenty of seating, or one could also take their food poolside. For us and what we were looking for on this day, 18 Monroe Street perfectly fit the bill.
