Located next to the airport I went there with lower expectations but was surprised of the quality of ingredients and pizza served. The deep dish pizza was a true Chicago style pizza, the crust very well done and ingredients overall fresh. Very well recommended when you are staying in the area or on a short business visit. read more

This location has got to get it together. If you dine-in or pickup, then you'll be fine. The food is delicious. However, their delivery service is awful. They delivered my pizza to the wrong address, and tried to tell me that they delivered to the specified address. This was false. It wasn't until I asked what business they delivered the pizza that their mistake came to the surface. In which I told them that did not deliver to the address that I gave them. On top of that, there was no refund or a fresh pizza. They went and picked up my original pizza from the incorrect address, and then delivered that pizza to me. Which had been sitting idle for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I cannot urge you enough... DO NOT ORDER from this location. Any other methods of eating from this location are fine. Update: Debbie contacted me and apologized on behalf of the delivery service at this location. She assured me that it would all be fixed, and judging from the effort she took to reach out and make things right, I absolutely believe her. The food has always been delicious, and I'll just chalk this up to a "down" night for a delivery driver. Again, the food has never disappointed, and after all the events that unfolded, this location really appreciates and values their customers satisfaction. Great job! read more

Excellent food. Don't waste your time with the thin crust, deep dish is the way to go. I ordered from here last night with my family. I came to pick up the order and it wasn't ready. The girl working the counter was nice but I had to remind her about my salad. Other then that great experience, although kinda expensive. read more

Finally had the opportunity to try a real deep dish pizza while visiting from California. I really like it a lot and wish we had them back home. As far as the restaurant, it was very clean and had plenty of parking. Our hostess and waitress were both really friendly. We ordered the garlic parmesan fries and the fried calamari for our appetizers and had a Chicago style deep dish pizza. I would definitely recommend this place based on the outstanding service and great food. read more

I went to Chicago and ate at 3 different pizza restaurants within 4 days. Pizzeria Uno and Giordano's were excellent! Gino's East was good. Of the 3, Giordano's had the best cheese. The amount and taste were both excellent! The crust was really thick and very tasty. The toppings were good and the sauce was pretty good. All 3 restaurants did not offer salami as a topping choice. I live in California and that is weird to me. In California, almost all pizza restaurants (Chicago-style, NY-style, and others) offer salami as a choice. Anyways, I think salami is better than pepperoni and should be offered. I really liked their pizza (Grade: A-), but Pizzeria Uno is better. I think Giordano's is way better than Gino's East and Zachary's in California. Next time I visit Chicago, I'll try Lou Malnalti's Pizzeria. read more

3.5 stars... You see this place everywhere in Chicago and you've heard about deep dish stuffed crust so one must really try this place out. I had high expectations for this place since I've never had anything like it before. I wasn't too impressed with the place though. Don't get me wrong it's good, but I'm not crazy about it. It's tasty, oozing with tons of cheese and lots of toppings, but one slice is too much to eat and after some time, the cheese gets a little tiring. It's a must try if you're from out of town like me, but not something I can eat everyday. read more

My first time to Chicago, everyone kept telling me to go to Gino's East. As soon as I got there, I had visions of Chicago styled deep-dish pizza. I asked locals what they thought was the definitive Chicago deep-dish, and they resoundingly responded Giordano's! My girlfriend and I ordered a small pizza and a Caesar salad. We figured the salad was for one, and we'd share it, so we should be able to finish the pizza, too, right? WRONG. The salad was for 5 - 6 people! It was so good, though, that we finished it! It's rare to find Caesar salads these days with anchovies and all. Giordano's had no shortage of anchovies, and huge garlic croutons. When the pizza arrived, we looked at each other and thought," oh, crap." It was HUGE! Needless to say, we had one slice each, and boxed the rest to go. Service here was amazing. The waitress recommended a few microbrews local to Chicago, and they were spot on. She even let us sample a few others that she thought were worth tasting, but probably not what we were looking for. The manager even came over when he heard we were tourists and recommended places to visit! read more

The food here is delicious! The customer service in the front on the other hand is horrible!! The young ladies slam pens when having you sign the receipt, practically throw the pizza towards you when ordering pick up. If it wasn't for this location being close to home I wouldn't order from here simply for the face that they are disrespectful to the customers . read more

My second time here and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the service because our pie took a longer than usual 45-50 min wait. I had to ask our waitress for the status and it was then that she realized it was ready. Though it was late and there were a few large crowds there that showed up, our table of 2 seemed to be less of a priority. The pie itself was delicious as well as the calamari (LOVE IT HERE). read more

On my first visit to Chicago, I knew I had to try the pizza. I've always heard of how big the pies were and how soft the crust was. I had these visions of what a Chicago styled deep-dish pizza would look like and it did not disappoint. Our group of 6 ordered two pies of pizza. We were starving and in need of nourishment for our bodies before heading out to the nightlife that night. When the pizza arrived, we all just looked at the pizza in amazement. In one word it was just beautiful. Some in the group were from New York and this was definitely no NY pizza. The crust was so soft and very nicely stuffed. The toppings were well spaced out and nicely sized for the pizza. It looked like it was one of those eating contests where you get a huge slice of whatever you are eating and have to see if you can devour it. We had no problem eating our pizzas and left that place with big smiles. Even though we were starving we still took some pizza to go because the size of it was just enourmous! The service here was amazing. The waitress recommended a few of her favorite pizzas since it was our first time in Chicago and our first time trying some of Chicago's best pizza. They were spot on and delicious! read more

Come hungry people!! The portions at Giordanos are gigantic. We ordered a small chopped salad and spinach dip. Both were fantastic The stuffed pizza, which we were told is different than deep dish , was very good. Incredibly cheesy with a very good crust. This was the kind of pizza that your full after a slice or two but eat another slice or two because you just can't help yourself. read more

My coworker and I came here before flying back to San Diego, so glad this is right by the airport so you can either come here when you land or right before you take off and take extra on the plane! I highly recommend placing an order ahead of time since it takes almost an hour to cook one whole deep dish pizza. We were on a time crunch to catch our flight so this is what we did, ate a slice at the restaurant and took the rest on the plane with to-go boxes and everyone wanted some! To be honest though I've had deep dish pizza in San Francisco and it isn't any different so that would be my only downside but of course Chicago is known for their pizza!! :) read more

The rating for our visit for the food is three stars, maybe three and a half. The final rating overall rating including the terrible service is two stars. Our explaination follows: I will not bore the reading with tales of how or why we ended up eating dinner here on Wednesday July 27 about 5pm. It does not matter and we absolutely find those stories utterly so self-absorbed that anything the reviewer types afterward becomes suspect. Our server was a chunky male with black hair and he had a short name, but just cannot recall. Part of our order for the appetizers was the parmesan fries. He brought out a small plate of regular fries. When I asked about the parm fries he said "I heard you just say fries. I will take these back to see if they can do something." About two minutes later he brought the exact same plate of fries, now with some parm sprinkled on them. I still had to ask for the ranch sauce. Time and time again throughout the meal he would pass by to refill other tables water or beverages, but never stopped at ours. Several times he had a full water pitcher as he raced past with no eye contact at all. After the meal we sat for almost 15 minutes for him to bring a check. Another 10 to get the credit card and receipt back. I watched as other servers gleefully assisted their customers. Not us. We had a view of the entrance toward the kitchen area. Bussers stood there often. One frequently biting his nails and spitting what he chewed off out onto the floor. The calamari was fantastic. Chicken chopped salad divine blew my mind with the texture and flavors. Do not pass it up and the portion was yuuuge. Now the pizza.....sigh...well....bland. Almost no sauce and just was bland. There is a shaker of some seasoning at each table, please use it because the kitchen does not. So, that sums up the visit. Even though the hotel we stay at is just down the street, on the next visit we will certainly find another pizza joint. This one is just too pricey to give it a second shot and it to fail. Be well, my friends. read more

Giordano's has always satisfied me. Pizza is great and never fails to put a smile on my face.

Ive never tried a Chicago Style Pizza before, although it was pretty flavorful the thick cheese is not my thing lol i dont think im a chicago style pizza kind of girl, i enjoy super thin cruchy crust and minimal cheese! that cheese is supppper thick thicker then the dough! I would def recommend Giordanos for a first time chicago pizza adventurer! The service was exceptional and the staff was nice! Wait times were super long downtown even after being seated the wait time for our pizza was 35 min, so we decided to drive towards hotel and call a to go order in from a different giordanos! read more

This was the best deep dish pizza I have ever had. As you can tell from my ratings, my boyfriend is a big deep dish pizza fan and when he booked a flight out of Midway, we knew we were stopping here. The service was attentive, the app we had was good (spinach and artichoke dip) and the pizza was phenomenal. The one thing I wish they would've done is seated us in a better space. We got immediate seating which was great but we were in a high traffic space. I would've prefered a quieter space. Check this out if you're in the Chicagoland area. read more

First time here. We went for lunch so we skipped the famed deep dish until we could have dinner. I ordered the beef/sausage sandwich with fries and a Cherry Coke. Sounded original so I though it would be a good choice. They didn't have Cherry Coke so the waitress asked the bartender to make it for me which was nice. The food wasn't so great though. The beef was very dry and if not for the side of marinara I probably wouldn't have been able to get it down. The waitress couldn't split our check and I paid with a twenty, so when I got my $5 bill back I had no ones to tip her. Here's my tip to the waitress: if you want a good tip make sure you give the person change so they can tip. read more

This is a dishonest business. I would not be supportive of it. On 9/4 around 10pm, I was charged about 5% more on my total bill. The last four digits of my card was about 4841 (If they want to verify). I am not implying that the restaurant systemically cheats customers in order to boost profits, but it is what I saw on my charges in this case. read more

Really good food and authentic Chicago style pizza. Cool it's right off the runway of Midway airport so planes come pretty close. Awesome!

Since I'm in Chicago, I had to get some deep dish pizza! It was a must! I asked around to a few of the people training me where I could get the best deep dish pizza in the area and they all directed me to this place. I ordered online for delivery to my hotel. Their web site was user friendly and easy to navigate. I placed my order and received an email confirming my order. I got a medium deep dish with bacon and pineapple. It was beautiful! Super cheesy, nice, flaky crust, and had plenty of toppings! I could only eat 2 pieces...it's SO filling! The delivery guy was very friendly. I only have 2 complaints - 1. It took about 90 minutes for it to arrive. I was getting ready to eat my arm off! But, it was very well worth the wait. 2. A medium deep dish with 2 toppings cost me over $34. Pretty pricy for 1 pie. I splurged this time, but due to the price and the very long wait, I can't say 100% that I would order again. The food was phenomenal, but I'm kind of a penny pincher. read more

Poor value for beef sandwich. Hardly any meat inside the bun. Shows that they are cutting corners in favor of satisfying customer. If you go here try not to order a sandwich unless you don't care about the value you are getting for the price. Good service. I will give them that. However, they need to revisit their sandwich portions. Hopefully, management reads their yelp reviews. read more

Let me start off by saying that there is no better pizza in Chicago, the food is tremendous, but, the Manager, Debbie here (I'm assumin) is extremely rude and has no business dealing with people. My wife had to purchase food from a competitor since she is highly allergic to the food here, as we walked in, Debbie literally glared at her with the outside food. My wife volunteered that she had the outside food cause of the allergies. Debbie rudely said "I can't have any outside food in here" my wife said are you serious? Debbie said "dead serious" and said "you can go somewhere else if you'd like" my wife ended up going outside as my sister and I dined inside since I had come from California and was waiting for the food. Debbie later instructed our waitress (a very nice and polite lady also named Debbie, the bartender) to tell me that i also had to our my barely remaining Starbucks into a cup provided by giordanos, quite excessive if you ask me. So, not only is giordanos not allergy friendly, this location also has the rudest manager I have ever encountered at any restaurant I've ever dined in. By the way, I'm typing this as we dine in and Debbie has passed by to "monitor" us at least 3 times, looking nastier and nastier each time. I would like a formal apology from Debbie for her behavior, totally unacceptable read more

I love their pizza's! Stuffed or thin, it's the best! The service was good and our server was great! The decor was fun to look at and atmosphere was relaxed. Giordano's - Deep Dish Sausage, olive and artichoke hearts. Yum. You get it the exact way you like it. - Pizza Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

My family has enjoyed and loved Giordanos Pizza for over 20 years and while the pizza is still as good as it always has been, the service is not. I live a few blocks from the 63rd and Cicero location and it's the location I normally order from. The last few times I've ordered for delivery it has taken close to 2 hours for the pizza to arrive which is not a big deal since they tell you up front that it's a long wait, the problem is that by the time the driver makes other deliveries and gets to me my pizza is already cold. Second issue is that they stopped accepting coupons as of June 1st so the extra coupons I had (with no expiration date) are no longer valid and they wouldn't even honor my $5 coupon as a courtesy given that I didn't know they had stopped accepting coupons. The gentleman who took my order suggested I sign up for email alerts or whatever in order to get coupons via email. Soooo you still issue coupons but you can't honor mine? Mmm, okay so I register online and the coupon code never arrived, how annoying. I will continue to buy from them because I love their pizza, I just wish their service was a little bit better so I can happily recommend it to other people, for now all I can say, if you don't mind paying a lot of money and waiting up to 2 hours for lukewarm pizza then this is your place! read more

Management should be fired. 45 minute wait to be seated with 1 out of 3 tables empty. Understaffed so they wouldn't seat us. Then 45 minute wait for pizza. Talked to management repeatedly and only got BS. I'm a patient man but these guys should be fired for the sake of the restaurant. read more
