First time in Chicago and me and a couple other guys are on a work trip. Found this place close to the hotel. We got the stuffed cheese and the stuffed Cipriani's special. They were absolutely fantastic. This is an older establishment and it's more of a take out spot than a dine in. They have a handful of tables though. Customer service was great. For my first Chicago pizza experience I'm very satisfied!

Solid pizza joint that does a ton of to go business. We had a long layover, so we hopped in an Uber and came over here based on reviews. It was less than a ten min drive from the airport. We got an antipasta salad that had a good amount of meats and cheese with cucumbers, tomatoes, and carrots. The pizza came out cooked all the way thru with a crispy crust. The sauce on top was very fresh. The only thing I wish was that the pepponi had a bit more flavor. If you like a pizza in its simplest form, with fresh ingredients, this is the place to come. The place is small inside with about 5 tables, but most of their business appeared to be to go orders. They also have pizza by the slice. The staff was very friendly and let us hang out and occupy a table for a couple of hours. I definitely would come back here if in Chicago. Prices are much cheaper than the airport, so if you have the time, call in an order and head over. Don't let the small unassuming place from the outside fool you. I also got a cannoli, which I have never had before (so I have no comparison), it was ok - very, very sweet.

Pizza- half garlic pepperoni and half garlic sausage.

The pizza wasn't bad but there are definitely better pizzas in Chicago and in the local neighborhood. The dipping sauce for the cheese sticks had a nice spice to them. The location is near midway and has a small dining area with a handful of seats. It also appeared they offered delivery. Not a bad option if you live nearby and want something walking distance but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Had a connecting flight from Midway International Airport and our flight got delayed for a few hours. What better way to make the best of the situation and seek out what Chicago is most known for -- Deep Dish Pizzzzza! I found Cipriani's Pizza on a quick Yelp search and the group and I decided it would be a good choice since it's located about a couple miles away from the airport. This joint is a small family owned business which I appreciate but the staff who were running the front of the house were simply rude and uninviting. I will note that they were not rude to patrons coming in and out to pick up pizza, and that could be because they were locals or regulars. I guess we gave off that 'out-of-town-er' energy because we were met with very mediocre hospitality. We ordered two Deep Dish Pizzas (one cheese and one of their specials), one thin crust sausage pizza, two large salads, and six sodas for $80.00 -- which is not too bad of a tab. The pizzas took about 45 minutes to make which could be an issue if you're walking in hangry after a full day of traveling. The pizza sauce was definitely a hit but the crust on both the thin crust and deep dish just didn't do it for me. I don't know if this was the "Chicago Deep Dish Pizza Experience" but I will share I was not too impressed. Note to owners: ask the ladies in the front to be a bit more warm and helpful. Maybe it would create a better first impression for first time visitors.

Authentic and quality Chicago style deep dish pizzeria! Founded decades ago by a married couple, Cipriani's is a Southeast Chicago institution! Named after an owner's Grandmother, Cipriani's reflects the craft learned from Giordano's, where the owner couple had worked. But it is better than Giordano's because the ingrediants are fresher and the owners remain very hands on in the business (both were there when I was). The house salad is very classic--iceburg lettuce, radishes, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, pepperoncini, sliced turkey, sliced cheese, and house-made dressing. The pizza is savory, deep, decadent rich, and thick--almost lasagna like! The crust is crispy and flakey. Really delicious. If you're in the area, try this authentic pizza while you still can!

This was my very first Chicago deep-dish pizza experience, and now I understand why everyone talks about it. The buttery crust, layers of cheese, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings made every bite worth the wait. One thing I would definitely recommend is making a reservation if you can. This place is popular for a reason! We waited a little over 35 minutes for a table, but luckily a couple of spots opened up at the bar, and we grabbed them right away. The atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly, and the pizza was everything I hoped it would be.

That's at the tone for what became unforgettable night. Had the space debri salad which is basically a Greek salad with potatoes and I think in Italian vinaigrette Soooooooooooo for it!!! So delicious After getting it, my buddy had to get one too haha One of us had the moonwalk cheese, we go out for a lot of pizza together, and he said it was he thought his favorite of anywhere. Another one of our crew got the pepperoni pile up loved. And I got the sweet and salty space candy pizza With bacon, pineapple, pickled red onion, goat cheese, sambal. Genius, the goat cheese, instead of ricotta was the move for this pizza! All the flavors worked in perfect harmony.Nothing short of amazing. Cozy spot, super cool atmosphere, couple of old school arcade games like ninja Turtles let's goooo We had so much fun. The drinks were absolutely excellent as well. Oh my God cannot forget this drink program. Galactic gift basket and Jedi mind trick sooo fire. For food - we ordered the blooming onion (forget what they call it), the wings, and two pizzas. My husband tried a gin cocktail and beer, both which he enjoyed. Onion 4/5 - tasty and good dipping sauce Wings 5/5 - crispiest wing I have ever had and they might be my favorite in Chicago... hot honey was delicious. Carmalized onion 3.5/5 - this was very tasty, perfect crispy edges and fluffy center. The flavor was good but could have used some acid to break up the richness Vodka meat pizza 4/5 - very tasty.
