Amazing! From the service to the pizza to the sandwiches to the Italian ice was great! I stopped here as it was close to the airport and had to wait for the rest of the group so decided to try Chicago pizza! I didn't even know Chicago pizza has a thin crust style pizza- Tavern. Definitely not a deep dish pizza and the hand tossed pizza "Fire" was card board texture. The wings were weird and not sure what the wanna be ranch sauce was....wasn't ranch. Definitely try somewhere else if you're a real pizza lover. Lou Malnatis, Palermos or even Giordanos is better. Tatas for thin crust is amazing. read more

Finally caved and went to stunods after seeing them on my instagram. Was greeted by one of the owners(I believe), very nice and courteous. The inside itself was also pretty neat, I love the fact they have slices available as well. To the pizza - it has an incredible smell and I was so eager to try the pizza I had a slice on my drive back home(hence the missing slice in the picture). The pizza itself was light, flavorful, the cheese is VERY good/high quality, sauce was on point, and overall the pizza just works together in a great unison. Tonight we ordered the Pasta Sunday Deal which is their weekly special for Sunday. It includes 2 lbs of pasta, garlic bread, sausage and meatballs, and a Caesar salad all for $45. Not bad! If I could give Stunod's Pizzeria 10 stars, I would! I catered from them for a company lunch of about 80 people, and to say it was a success would be an understatement. Everyone absolutely raved about the pizza, salad, mozzarella sticks, and more. I had the pleasure of working with Frank, the owner, to put together a menu that fit our large group and gave my office an authentic "taste of Chicago." Frank went above and beyond--he was so easy (and fun!) to work with. What I appreciated most was how thoughtful he was in making sure we had plenty of food for everyone while staying within our budget. He even treated us to their incredible "Sfingis," traditional Sicilian deep-fried pastries that were truly mouthwatering! On the day of the event, Frank personally came to deliver, helped with setup, and made sure everything went smoothly. His kindness and hospitality reminded me of the Southern warmth I grew up with back home. I can't say enough great things about Frank and his team. If you have the chance to order from Stunod's Pizzeria--do it! You won't be disappointed. read more

Stunod's Pizzeria @ 6535 W 63rd street pizzeria & sammiches w/a Great blend of sausage, cheese & red sauce served on pizza crust that was neither crunchy thin crust, or pan pizza, or deep dish or pan pizza. The crust was very good almost New York style w/thin crust that was slightly chewy in texture (almost Detroit style in nature but uniquely their own style. The guy working the front counter (should have gotten his name was super friendly & helpful (great guy to have as a front counter person greeting people & taking their orders. Today I ordered single slice of sausage pizza that I really enjoyed. The dining area is very limited to a small counter facing the window & one table. As I stood eating my pizza many people came in to either order or pick up their orders. This is a relatively new place and was rated as one of the top pizza places in Chicago in an article I read. They serve whole pizzas, pizza by da slice, beef sammiches, burgers, chicken wings & udder thangs. Good solid place w/good pizza & an awesome super friendly staff. Can't believe I havent reviewed this yet, but maybe the longer term of trying the product will help it be more thorough. I've been trying them from the beginning. Probably would have gone more if not for the parking. There are three restaurants in a row at that location. Starting with pizza, they initially offered pizza in the style of wood burning oven quality, or North side-ish. Light, airy crust yet chewy and crunchy. Taste was good. The edges are a bit larger than any other normal place. It basically reduces the pizza in size if eating plain edges/crusts aren't your thing. Sauce is unremarkable. Toppings were okay. I was curious about their deep dish. Until I tried it. The set-up is fine, but the sauce, which I'm assuming is different than their thin-crust pizza sauce, is really shockingly bland. Can't even say it's "tomato-y", because THAT would be tasty. Just a bland, watery red sauce. Their beef sandwiches are good enough to try. Not extraordinary. Giardinera, which is an important component of an Italian Beef, is another unremarkable thing. Shame. Their meatballs are pretty good. Although they forego it being cheaper than the other sandwiches. With ground meat and filler being components, the sandwich should be cheaper than the expensive roasted beef for their Italian. The breaded steak is decent enough. It's no Ricobene's though. Italian sausage, like so many other products, is just okay. Their fries are really good but you have to get them well done as they sometimes are limp and seem undercooked. Definitely enough salt though. So are they terrible? No. But I can't give glowing reviews. Not in these times. Remember it's YOUR money you are spending. If you are looking for thin crust,there are superior places nearby--- Obbie's, Triano's, Vince's, Palermo's, even the thicker Positano's. Prices vary. Maybe that's why this style of pizza is mostly North side hipster stuff. As far as sandwiches, Tony's Beef, Windy City are tops. If you have money to burn, Portillo's is very good, just small and WAY too expensive. If you live in the neighborhood, or thought Parisi's was the best ever, then you are probably going to like it. But try other places mentioned. It's worth it. read more

We went to Stunod's after a Red Stars's game while visiting from out of town. The staff was very friendly. We ordered a medium pepperoni and garlic bread. The medium was perfect for three people to share. On our way out, we said "thank you", and they stopped what they were doing, despite being busy, to ask how everything was.
