Wow, straight to the point, Triano's pizza is something else. I don't think I've ever had a slice of pizza like this. The pepperoni was perfect, crispy edges, full of flavor And the crust... man, the crust was on point, it actually had flavor, not just a base for toppings. The place itself was nice, laid-back, and the staff was super friendly, which just made it better. It's the kind of slice you could grab on the go, but honestly, this one deserves to be enjoyed slowly. Reminded me of how pizza looks in the movies and it actually tastes that good. One of the better thin crust, tavern style pizza on the south side of the city. My co- workers and I enjoyed a large pepperoni and sausage and a large veggie ( green bell pepper mushroom) pizza. Just moved in the area and this spot looked legit! Had a sign saying they have been around For decades. The restaurant itself looked pretty grimy. The pizza was super thin crust and lacked flavor. Probably won't make it back due to questionable cleanliness visually. read more

Ordered a whole pizza from Trianos and it did not disappoint. Placed an online pick up order for a cheese, sausage and giardinera pizza. Went to pick it up and it was ready with no problems. I read another review that mirrored our exact ordering experience. A female order taker rushed us and kept saying, "Anything else?!" Then she screwed up saying g we wanted pineapples instead of pepperoni... HUGE SIGH That was my 1st indication that this pizza experience would be interesting. The pizza was fresh and well prepared, she did get the order correct. The taste wasn't that grand for me tho. The sauce was too sweet and tasted can like and also the sausage wasnt flavorful. I have had this pizza before as my neighbor tends to get it for her parties, it's always solid. I ordered a cheese, sausage, mushroom pizza with an order of wings drenched in garlic parm sauce. The pizza was great and the wings were the type you lick your fingers and gnaw every sliver of meat off the bone. They are that good. Delish! read more

I've actually never heard of Trianos pizza, but it was hot and I had just picked up some fried chicken from Mini Hut down the street and I was craving sell Italian Ice. We were on our way to Gina's in Berwyn until I got a red light on Archer & Oak Park. My wife had noticed a sign that had said "Italian Ice". I said the hell with Ginas, I quickly turned right, larked my car and ordered me some Italian Ice! They have several flavors and their prices were fair. I ordered my usual lemonade and strawberry, and my son had ordered watermelon. Their watermelon was actually quite tasty and refreshing, but the strawberry was absolutely delicious and just as refreshing. Perfect for a hot day! It had the perfect amount of sweetness and their lemonade was also good. I didn't get to try their pizza but saw the pizza some people were eating there. It looked tasty and wouldn't mind trying it in the future. The bonus was their check in offer. And eight piece wings with any purchase. Talk about a steal. We got their Sweet N Spicy Zang, and were very delicious. The wings weren't to crispy and were very saucy. The sauce had a nice kick to it as well. Very flavorful wings. It's rare for me now to try a place that I just found off the street, but I'm sure glad I stopped in! Their customer service was also phenomenal. Just landing in Chicago, we came across Triano's Pizza! Located few blocks away from the car rental place, we decided to stop and try Chicago's pizza. As we came in we were greeted by super fun smiley Jane! She was very kind taking our order and accommodating my request, I like pizzas toastie! The guys in the back making the pizza also said hello! Everyone was cheery! We took our pizza to go to eat while driving. We enjoyed it, even that I'm regretting it right now because my tummy is swollen from this sin! My review is solely based off their customer service both ordering AND delivery driver. While ordering, woman seemed to be rushing through my order and asking "anything else?" As if trying to get me off the phone. Fine, maybe they're busy. Then delivery driver arrives and although he would not know this, I was battling my toddler with a diaper change so when I finally got to the door (roughly 3 or so minutes), he didn't even say hi, he greeted me with "yea I rang your doorbell and called twice". For someone who's job works off tips, I understand it can be frustrating, but that is not how you conduct customer service. Will MAYBE go back depending on how good the food is, but will probably stick with Danny's or Obies. read more

Although the food is decent and I dislike writing negative reviews, I must. I've never seen a place that is more backwards. It takes 20 minutes to get an Italian ice. I can verify this because I've ordered them at least 5 times and it always blows my mind when it takes 20 minutes to scoop out the ice into the cup. They must be doing this on purpose. It's not just one employee either; it's all of them. I'm sure that this place will survive because here on the south side of Chicago, you can serve dog food and be successful. This wouldn't fly in Elmwood Park or somewhere else where quality actually matters. If you could deal with stupidity and mediocre food then this is your place, otherwise don't waste your time. read more
