Small pepperoni well done
Mark M.

Took my gf to try Grassano's since she's a north sider. Ordered for pick up and it was busy on Friday. About 30-40 mins for pizza but well worth it. Small pepperoni well done. Pickup window is separate from dining which is nice. Pizza was very good like usual. They would deliver to the ice rink I worked at back in the day and we would get the leftovers. Nice crispy graham cracker crust, cheesy, and a sweet sauce with every bite! Must stop whenever you're in the south side!

Waited 1hr 15 min to have only have our fries and wings delivered. Driver said it wasn't put in his bag and that someone will be bringing it. Called the restaurant to have the restaurant owners daughter offer the worst explanation and worst customer service. She said "oh honey, I can offer you a $5 dollar discount but not a free pizza! We have the pizza here but didn't know who's it was." We have been a LOYAL customer for just about 15 years & they just lost that! And this is how we received our order of fries, 1/3 of the bag only.

I've heard good things about Grassano's. Ordered 2 pizza panzerottis, 1 pepperoni and 1 pepperoni and sausage. Got home to discover my order was all wrong. I received 2 buffalo chicken ones instead. I called to ask for a refund and the first guy said he wasn't sure they could give us a refund back. He passed the phone over and I was offered credit. I let them know I would not be going back to try again as I had a simple order and wouldn't trust them with a larger or complicated order. I was given a refund back, but very disappointed to see my whole order wrong.

Ordered 3 pizzas, 2 thin crust and one stuffed. They gave me double dough instead of stuffed. Still great pizza tho

Nasty and greasy

Didn't wanna leave this comment here but they have no place to contact besides phone and I'm done waiting for a manager to call back. I think this place is a hit or miss. Today def a miss. The pizza was good but we got the Bosco sticks and my gf NEVER complains. She said they tasted like straight grease like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Even looking at them they look burnt and the cheese is all dried out. Definitely won't be ordering these anymore. I guess I can just go to Phil's pizza down the road. Easier to get in touch with someone as well

The pizza puff and the breaded steak sandwich are a weekly staple in our household. The staff is always friendly when we call or pick up.

What happen to the dine in? I looked at the photos taken by yelp and when I show up to the place it's a delivery place. Im so confused

They had a fire and when they remodeled they got rid of the dinning section. I think it was like 2 years ago.

Peace and love, everyone!!…read more It's been a long minute since I left a review, so I'm happy to talk about a new food place! My wife and I finally ordered from Paisans Pizza in Oak Lawn, something we've been wanting to do for a long minute. As I have been working out and watching how much I eat since December, I very much look forward to having a 'big back day', as my daughter says! So the online ordering process was very easy. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, a medium sausage pizza, the Southwestern egg rolls, and finally some garlic parmesan wings. When I went to pick up the food, it took a few minutes to find a parking space as there are no spaces for pick-up orders. But when I went in there, nice ambiance with the planes, the cars, and the camper, which is where I had to pick up my order from. The place was jumping (I was there about 6pm on Saturday), and it seemed like a nice overall vibe. Ok so I pick up my order and get back to the crib! First, the pizza: both pizzas were really good. Nice amount of cheese, nice amount of sausage, for both, nice amount of sauce. Now the pizza was good, let me be clear, but on the box it says the 'best pizza in the world'. So my honest opinion is that is it better than all the other pizza places in the area (Domino's, Nonna's, etc)? YES...easily! Is Paisans better than Beggars Pizza? I say yes, my wife says no. Either way, we both agree that they have some good pizza! The garlic parmesan wings lived up to the hype. Crispy wings, nice amount of seasoning, not overpowering. As for the Southwestern egg rolls, this was the only thing I ordered where I was like 'meh'. The shell wasn't really crispy, I think it was a bit bland, and the sauce cup had opened up and spilled in its takeout box. Put it this way...Chili's Southwestern egg rolls are much better, by comparison, in terms of flavor. All in all, this was not a bad eating experience. The food was good all around, and for me, only the egg rolls could have been better. Also, the food was a little on the expensive side....so that is something to keep in mind also. So, does this mean we'll be back? Absolutely! Food.................................B+ Price.................................C (the food is very expensive) Ambiance........................A Customer Service...........A (Ready on time and attentive, friendly employees)

The city of Chicago itself has FOUR main catagories of pizza styles that were invented Here:... 1): Deep-Dish - This has a thick crust & lots of toppings. 2). Stuffed - This is 'double-decker pizza where the toppings are laid atop the bottom dough along with pounds of grated cheese, and then another sheet of dough is placed on top to which is added many ladles of tangy pizza sauce. Suffed Pizza usually take about 45 minutes to bake. 3). Tavern Style - This is a Thin-Crust Pizza that became popular in Chicago's Southside neighborhoods long before Deep-Dish or Suffed Pizza ever saw a mouth. It was created for the men who work in the 'Stock Yards' butchering cows. After a long day these workers would often go to their local tavern to have a beer and maybe a snack (if the tavern actually had any snacks. Then, eventually ONE Tavern caught on, that if they offered a Snack, the men drinking would always order another beer. So they began making inexpensive, thin-crust pizza (not to sell but to give-away as a promotion. And to make it easier to both snack and drink at same time, the tavern cut the pizza in straight lines, east to west, and north to south. Then they just passed the pizza down the bar and everbody took a square, (you can tell a lot about a person from watching which slices they choose: the gooey soft inner squares full of melted cheese and sauce-oil; - the rectangular edge pieces with a center that's gooey and a crunchy crust-edge; - and finally, the "Runt" of the "Zaa", the little, dry, triangular pieces (I cannot call in "a slice", because... a slice of WHAT?!?) . The first tavern to do this was Vito & Nick's. And it still does it ( only Now Vito & Nick's charges for its Pizza
