Quality pizza! Great boneless wings. I got the 14' 1 topping and 1 pound of wings special for $30. Italian sausage on pizza was really good and wings were big crunchy chunks of meat. I got the medium sauce and was spicy enough for me. The only little complaint was the pizza was a little salty. Other than that, great food!! read more

This was probably the worst pizza I could have ever had !! We had a pizza party with family and friends.. we ordered 3 pizza's .. Was so excited because this place came so recommended but I must say I was so disappointed. My son picked up the pizzas and they told him 25 more minutes from the time the had originally told me .. Ok I get it , they're busy .. But when he came home with the pizza I opened them up to find that they were burnt and not what I had ordered. I was so embarrassed to serve them. But I had no choice .. Guess what only 2 pieces out of all three pizzas were eaten .. SO EMBARRASSED!! Won't ever order from there again , I also called and the girl on the phone was clueless on what she had to say .. Poor Food presentation and Poor Customer Service!! read more

Very delicious pizza. This place is around the corner from my house. I never knew I lived so close to such wonderful pizza. The sauce is very tasty and the pepperoni and sausage are great. Very friendly staff. read more

Been coming to this pizza place for a few years now, pizza is good, Texas fries are great.. but today the girl in the front had a really poor attitude . I call at 150 pizza was suppose to be ready at 230 the latest. Got there at 235- they said a few minutes. 15 mins later still waiting. The girl in the front no care in the world . Pizza was finally ready, but they forgot to give my order to the kitchen for my fries. Had to wait an additional 10 mins for fries after waiting already for my pizza longer than usual. Very disappointed today . Get better help in the front please . read more

Me and my son or food from you next on Friday night I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich the chicken was so dried out even extra marinara sauce didn't improve it. I can't believe this place charges a surcharge for using a debit card debit card is the same as using cash. I've been in Chicago ridge for 50 years now and Nick's no longer is offered you any discount coupons. Now I know why I stopped you going to Nick's the food was terrible even the beef sandwich had no spice to it. The owner does a respond to bed reviews he only responds to five Star reviews read more

They were doing kitchen repairs, so nothing but pizza was available. Decorated nicely for Halloween! Got lucky that I arrived during Lunch promotion. 8" pizza with one topping for $6. Decent Deal. Good Pizza. read more

Very good pizza place/Italian joint. Nice menu. Fair prices. Fast delivery. Loved my perch sandwich. Crispy. Cruncy. Good fries. Good potatoe salad, tartar sauce and coleslaw. Good salad my Mom had with ranch dressing. Will try regular perch dinner someday. And maybe their pizza too. Had my order delivered. Great employees and staff. 4/5 stars. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. read more

My favorite place to go to wind down. The pizza is awesome, the beer is ice cold, and the staff is so much fun to talk to. They love sports! So, if you want a nice place to "escape" from the ordinary eats around here... this is it. Enjoy! read more

Nick's Pizza - a pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Chicago Ridge, Illinois

It was at least 30 years since I ordered a pizza from Nick's pizza in the Ridge. Back in the day that was the place to go. But now not so much. I wasn't really impressed. I would say the pie was fresh but the taste was just above something from dominos. The staff hanging about and around were friendly but the inside of the joint I thought was grubby and nasty. Certainly not a place to bring a family or a date. Much more better places to go. I won't be ordering again. A personal pizza taste... read more

This is best described as a working class bar. No imports except Blue moon. Plenty of cheap domestic beer. They have specials Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday half price pizza is amazing and the pizza is great for the price, be warned cash only in special days. It has a nice tabled seating area for families. Unfortunately... beyond their pizza the food can be hit or miss. I've had their meatballs that the 2 in one sandwich have been both perfect and cold in the center. A lot of it is almost certainly frozen before hand and then quickly prepared as soon as ordered. If you want quick cheap beer and bar food this is absolutely the best place to go. Again, their pizza is great and half priced on monday. read more

Pizza is still amazing, owner is still hilariously surly. The counter staff is nice and they make good fried appetizers. Do yourself a favor and just phone in your order. Don't try to eat there, especially not with kids, or you will spend an hour being scowled at by the owner who could curdle milk with her glare because the sound of children's laughter cuts her to the quick apparently. read more

Great thin crust pizza -- the sauce and cheese make a perfect combination. Almost reminds me of NYC pizza, my hometown, where the best pizza in the world is made, so that's saying a lot! :) Excellent fried zucchini as well. read more

I absolutely love coming here!!!!! Nina the bartender is a genius when it comes to making mixed drinks on the fly. She is insanely creative & has a wonderful personality. Very INCONSISTENT. I ordered the SAME pizza on FOUR SEPARATE occasions and the product was different everytime. My first visit was AMAZING but each visit after was disappointing. I asked for the order to be repeated back to me for correctness (and it was) I checked the receipt (again correct) so my ONLY conclusion is to think the employees making the pizza are either NOT reading the ticket correctly (where then the call taker should EMPHASIZE extra ingredients VERBALLY) or maybe the tickets should be written in Spanish. Otherwise I'll go back to Fasanos, Phil's or Italian Villa. read more

Nick's isn't the cleanest place, not the best looking but it is good. Whenever one of my friends is in town we always hit up Nick's for the pizza and pitcher special. The service is quick and friendly. The pizza is delicious thin crust pie. It is really good and when you buy a pizza there is a pitcher specials, sorry I forgot the price. Highly recommend this place! read more

I have ordered from here a few times. Every time I got really greasy and bland pizza. I never dined in but going here was not very inviting. The inside didn't look clean and did not reassure me at all. I had a bunch of coupons for a free pizza and I tossed them out just because it didn't seem worth while. Service was good but not spectacular. In the end, I wouldn't recommend this place or their food to anyone. There is street parking on Ridgeland and the location isn't bad. But too greasy and bland pizza when there are tons of better options around is not what I want for dinner. read more

You only get one chance to make a first impression!!!! We came to Nick's Pizza and wanted something fast not pizza. We ordered a breaded steak sandwich and a barbecue beef sandwich both with fries. After 40 mins. of watching the waitresses talk as they folded napkins finally she came by with napkins and ketchup. We asked why it was taking so long for sandwiches and she said "I don't know" I said "We only ordered sandwiches and for that length of time we could have ordered pizza" and her response was " I'm just the messenger". What upset me most is after I said "This is the customer service you get." She then made it sound like this was OUR fault. My fiancée got so upset that she walked out the door. The restaurant wasn't even crowded. Totally unacceptable. Will never go back. read more

Horrible pizza and even worse service. Had it twice and will not do that again. The cheese was super old and the sausage and pepperoni were so greasy the crust was soggy. The waitress was rude. Sorry the pop was flat can't you fix that? Rather order Pizza Hut at least I know I am getting shitty pizza. read more

Service on the phone was horrible the lady literally rushed me and while the other phone was ringing she said out loud "oh gosh hold on" and put me on hold 4 times also didn't greet me at all answered "nicks pick up or delivery" I was a manager at a pizza place for 5 years and I know from experience answering phones with hospitality is a major outlook of your restaurant. Not impressed at all with this. read more

Nick's is amazing, it is a hidden gem out here as far as pizza goes, and i eat alot of it. I believe its monday you can go there and get a large pizza and a pitcher of beer for $11. This is what fist caught my eye and i will be changed forever. It was the sauce... "once it hits your lips" you just can't stop. One downside is the people inside can be kinda cold sometimes like they all hate their jobs. But it doesn't matter you can't stay away..... and THEY KNOW IT!! oh and there is a bar in the back of the place,.. where the bathrooms are. p.s. : great claw machine! p.s.s. : go for the green olive read more

Wow, could not believe the service I received tonight. I had a few good reviews of this place but what I experienced tonight will guarantee I will not go back to this place. Myself and my wife and two of our kids walked in this place around 6:10 pm and we kind of stood around a bit because we had been hoping that college football would be on and instead they had some cartoons on full blast . Thats ok if someone had requested it and there was a family there already with a couple of kids and we were wondering if they asked for the cartoons to be on. The waitress came up to us and asked with a bit of an attitude if we had a problem. I said no but unless this family had asked for cartoons could we put on the ND vs USC football game that me and the kids wanted to see. The waitress said I could ask them to change the channel, which kind of threw me for a loop because I thought I had just asked her to change the channel. Whatever, we ordered our food. 12 wings and a pizza. After a few minutes the waitress came down and told us that the game we wanted to watch didn't start until 7 pm. I said no, the game starts at 6:30. She said the TV was up to the bartender and she had no control over it. I walked into the bar to talk to the bartender but found no bartender there. In the meantime, I had said good things about the pizza in previous reviews but this one was bad and soggy crusted. Not a good pizza at all and the wings were worse. Suddenly, TV changes over to TBS Cubs game preview as I am following the 6:30 ND vs USC kickoff on my phone that I had told my waitress about. I got up once again and walked to the bar hoping to tell the bartender to change the channel but the bartender was obviously far too busy playing Bubble Witch or maybe Diamond dash on her phone to notice me. Maybe she was making FB friend requests I really couldn't tell you but I do know she wasn't watching who was standing at the bar. At this stage our pizza was eaten and I was still left with a beer or two in my pitcher and was hoping to see a little bit of the 7-7 ND vs USC tie game. I think my only hope was with our waitress but since dropping off our bill she was nowhere to be found either. In closing, I really want to apologize to the staff at Nick's Pizza. I know that despite being the only customer at the time I never should have gone to such extremes in asking if I could watch something on your TV. Also when you tell me the game doesn't start until 7 I need to just listen to you despite the fact that I knew the game started at 6:30. I will never ask for such extreme requests again. My sincerest apologies. I do hope the owner reads these reviews though because the people he is hiring is destroying this business. read more

Their thin crust pizza is awsome and crispy! Mondays are 1/2 price pizzas, pickup & cash only.

I won't lie...a very good pizza pie. But...been there twice and both times the police were there escorting someone out of the business. Two different waitresses with two different problems with the police having to show up. The last thing I need in life is grabbing some grub and having armed police officers escorting folks out of the restaurant while young waitresses/owners are dropping "F" bombs. Not exactly a relaxing wind down after a long day of work. DO NOT go there regardless of TV reviews! read more

Not the greatest pizza out there. What gives my review only 1 star is the management for not acting towards the customers concerns. You should listen when a mistake on toppings was made and offer to correct the situation and for a place not to do anything means they don't care. read more

Worst experience two weeks in a row. Nicks is a great pizza, but their ability to have a pizza ready on time and their customer service leaves something to be desired. Two weeks running now we've been supplied a time to pick up our pizza, we get there and wait in excess of 30 minutes. The staff are also rude, and act as thought you're putting them out when you ask if the order got lost? Sorry, but even at a busy time, a pizza should not take an hour and a half. Will be rerouting to a new place. read more

Really good pizza. But the medium is really small. Says it feeds 3 to 5 people, but it's only 12 inches. Kind of expensive.

A very good pizza for the south side. In my opinion much better than Vito and Nicks on Pulaski. Lived in Chicago all my life, north and south side. Have traveled extensively, NY, LA etc. and Nicks is in my top 5 nationally. Must try. read more
