We ordered a medium sausage thin crust pizza. My friend Jagger is obsessed with this place. We tried the old location years ago and liked it. Today the pizza was also very good. Took about 15 minutes to cook and was made with a lot of sausage and a good ratio of ingredients. My only complaint was the thin crust was very very thin and the toppings kept sliding off. I got really lucky yesterday i jumped on Yelp looking for a pizza spot and pizza castle popped up so happy because it's AMAZING. This place is not your ordinary pizza spot this place has history they opened in 1973 on 55th street gage park very experienced in the pizza business (Rick an Eric) I'm in love with really thin crust pizza and they honestly have top notch thin crust pizza i ordered three pies first one just cheese second one veggie and third Italian beef with gardener peppers which was honestly the best beef an pepper pizza I ever had plain cheese was thin crust with a little crisp just the right and last was the veggie let me tell you all FRESH ingredients not your ordinary pizza joint i love this place I one million percent recommend pizza castle and yes it's my new favorite pizza spot. Really happy with everything... I was told pizza would be ready in 30 minutes and it was, Brought it home (a 10 minute ride) and it was still hot. Topping was plentiful and the crust was perfect. I have noticed a few one star reviews and most of those are from people who have no other reviews so I am always a bit leery of those and the a few others were for different locations. Don't be scared to give this location a try I have a feeling you will be pleasantly surprised. read more

Meh... About 1/3 of this pizza had no cheese, and it wasn't obvious from a slight distance because they put sauce over the crust to hide it. Part of the reason why there was no cheese is there were several huge crust bubbles that they popped and cheese ran off on to the oven. Also along the edge of the pizza about a third of it at least cheese ran off and stuck to the oven and when they pulled the pizza off the shelf with the peel, the cheese stuck to the shelf and pulled off. To fix it they just covered it up with sauce. The rest if the pizza the cheese was paper thin at best.So I was left with a pizza with less than half cheese on the whole thing. read more

I had a pizza delivered today for the first time from pizza castle. after hearing a few people online talking about how good it was. well those people either work for pizza castle or have never had anything but chuckee cheese pizza because it was terrible. the cheese slid to one side of the box. once I got it to slide back into place i used 6 paper towels to get some grease off the top. once I was ready to finally dig in I was only able to grab the end pieces because everything else was so soggy. it only took about 30 minutes after eating this soggy mess that 3 of us were sick to our stomachs. my wife thought the dough was lasagna noodles it was that soggy and wet. go two minutes around the corner to vito and nicks 2. best pizza around especially if lilee is working she makes the best pizzas read more

Was hoping this was the same place as the original in the city and it was! Double bonus they had heart shaped pizzas for Valentine's Day... I ordered half cheese and half with other ingredients and they ended up putting the ingredients on the whole pizza, however they made me a separate cheese at no charge! A friend had her birthday catered by here and the pizza and wings were so good I had to come in person. They have a small counter if you'd like to eat in, and the staff is super nice. They've been around for a very long time so it's nice to see how invested they've been in the community. Anytime I'm south i always make an excuse to swing by. Very good pizza. What I don't like is not being able to advance on the credit-debit card payment prompt unless you give a tip. After informing the cashier the "submit" tab was not working (due to refusing to tip on a to go order), she finally pressed something on her end to finalize the purchase. Requesting a tip on a to go order is enough for me to avoid this establishment. Plenty of good pizza in the surrounding area when craving pizza that won't ask for a tip on a to go order. read more
