When I saw the rating, I had to add my review. Fox's has some of the best pizza in Beverly. It is thin and crispy and absolutely delicious every single time we've gotten taken takeout from there. My favorite pizza is their double roni ricotta sweet and spicy. It has the perfect amount of spice with a touch of sweetness. Other things I love about their pizza - on Wednesdays, they have a special that gets you $10 off any large or family style pizza, they make heart shaped pizzas for Valentine's Day, and they have started to take online orders this last year. The one knock I will say is they were busy and only had two servers the weeknight I went and it was busy, we waited a while for our pizza because she forgot to put the order in. Had a birthday lunch last Saturday. Gin & 7Up for Hubby, wine for me. Then we shared the tomato bread, which was quite good (our first time trying). Hubby ordered ribs with mashed potatoes/gravy and slaw. I had the broasted chicken with a baked potato and slaw. We each enjoyed very much. French fries - hard. garlic bread - 1/2 loaf - not cut in serving sizes, minimal garlic flavor. creamy Cole slaw - many large cabbage pieces, extreme vinegar flavor. The fried chicken was good. Baked beans were good. Dipping sauces were good. This is not the 1st time our delivery food from Fox's Beverly was sub-par. The chef needs to pay attention to detail, the owner needs to pay attention to detail. With previous orders, I've even called and complained. Over the past 35 years, we've been ordering delivery from this restaurant. But after this order, we will not order from Fox's Beverly again. I grew up going to Fox's pizza, but hadn't been there in decades. My little brother was visiting from Mexico so we decided to go for old times sake. We went on a Thursday evening and found the restaurant moderately crowded. We were seated immediately though and our server greeted us shortly thereafter. The aroma wafting thru the air was familiar... we all said it smelled exactly the same as when we were kids. We opted for the 23 inch sausage and pepperoni pizza. Our godfather went for the turkey club sandwich with fries and baked beans. The sandwich was huge and my godfather said everything was really tasty. The pizza was delicious. We ordered both sausage and pepperoni, but IMO they put way more sausage than pepperoni. I prefer pepperoni so that was a bummer, but otherwise the pizza was perfect. Well proportioned in terms of tomato sauce and toppings. The pie had the perfect amount of cheese too. Our waitess was prompt, friendly and attentive. The staff also followed the mask mandate which was a major plus. Everyone was not only masked, but wore them properly. The restaurant was clean and the decor looked the same as back in the day. I will say that we all thought the booth was tiny though. I'm 5'3", 114lbs with a slender build and I still thought the space was a tight fit compared to newer restaurants. The booths are also seemed really close together which is probably because the restaurant is so small. Overall we were very happy with our visit. I'll definitely make it a point to get by Fox's more frequently from now on. read more

We've been eating here for 25 years and love this place. I think they had a period of time when some skimping was done, and things were not that super, but that is in the past. We have made suggestions when asked by management and they actually implemented them. Went just last night and saw a new menu with some new offerings. 1) The chopped salad with crispy chicken is always a crowd pleaser 2) The pizza is good from delivery, BUT outstanding when eating in. We tried a new pizza on the menu which was the Double Roni Ricotta. Maybe the best (or 2nd best) thin crust I've ever had. Pepperoni under the cheese, and pepperoni on top of the cheese. Seasoned Ricotta cheese, red pepper flakes and drizzled honey top it off. Amazing. Highly Recommend this place - eat in, but in small groups. Only booths for 2 or 4. My family decided to have lunch at Fox's today. A sign on the table listed the daily specials. Today's special was "$10 off any large or 17" family size pizza". My table ordered a large Fox's Special pizza, 2 paddy melt sandwiches, fries and a beverage. When the bill arrived, the $10 off discount had not been applied. We asked our server about the discrepancy who then spoke with the manager. The manager stated the pizza had to be ordered with the additional toppings being added vs getting a Fox's special pizza that included the additional toppings. What??? That is NOT spelled out on the sign posted on the table nor was it explained when we asked our server about the special upon ordering. The manager eventually gave us an $8 discount and therefore cheated us out of $2. It's not about the $2, it's about being honest with your customers and standing by your posted discount. This experience was very disheartening so it is doubtful that we will will return to this establishment. Fox's has been in the community for many years and it is disappointing to have to post this negative review however posting this will hopefully cause you to think twice and treat your customers fairly as they deserve. read more

What made Foxes pizza great is no longer. The thin crust pizza is a joke of it's former self. No longer crisp and crunchy, it is now barely cooked, wet soogy dough, to the point toppings slide off. Today wasn't the first time, just that with today's take out; I specified the crust to be crisp. Wow. They ruined our meal on so many levels. First, one of our pizzas was utterly flavorless and burnt, pic accompanied. Next, we ordered a bucket which was to include our missing two orders of fries and garlic bread. When we called to complain, they returned with only one order of fries that looked like it was with another order and they just removed the sandwich from the container. Pic also attached. Called and asked for the manager and was put on hold. The same person came back to the phone and said he was the manager.
