We hated this pizza so much. I am actually sad to say that, because I've had a lot of recommendations about this place and have seen a lot of reviews. We ordered through delivery and we live close, but the pizza was actually disgusting. No one in my household liked it at all. The crust was burned and tasted like a frozen pizza. The cheese was strange to the point where you can't even really chew it like it almost felt like fake cheese. The sausage was horrible with a very strange taste on it. Almost tasted dirty? Not sure if they used dirty equipment or had dirty hands but no one would eat it and I threw it away. read more

Black Foodie Tour stop and taste. For me a good pizza starts with the crust, after all, it is the foundation. Then we can respectfully move on to the sauce and the toppings. Dream Pizza on the 9 is located inside a sports bar. Fast paced, loud music and high energy. I love that they have a limited menu. It allows them to perfect a skill they are already very good at. The pizza crust is the perfect balance of flavor and thickness, not doughy. The sauce is nicely flavored, garlic forward. Premium cheese and quality chicken sausage. I have wanted to try them ever sense they 1st opened, but I'm never in the area when they open (4pm). Tonight I drove an hour from home to try them. I ordered 2 pizzas online. Both smalls, 1 with sausage and mushrooms and 1 w/pepperoni and sausage. We tried both Italian and chicken sausage ingredients. Pizzas were prepared correctly, served hot and fresh. They exceeded our expectations. Trying it out on a Friday night might not be the best idea, and it took about 1.5hrs to get it. But it was worth my wait tonight! After seeing some recommendations for this spot on Facebook, I decided to give it a try. I called on a Sunday afternoon to place a pick up order. The person who answered said it might take a little bit for me to place my order because they were busy with a big party. Shortly thereafter another person took my order. I decided to try half Italian sausage (my typical) and half chicken sausage and gardenia (which was recommended). When I arrived, the parking lot was packed. When I entered, the venue was larger than I expected and it was definitely a party happening. My pizza was ready and I was in and out. I liked the Italian sausage, but I didn't care for the gardenia...so I'll have to try the chicken sausage again without it. The sauce was good, I liked the thin crust, the price was reasonable and the in-person customer service was good. read more

I was really looking forward to having this pizza, because it was said, that it tasted just as good as Italian Fiesta, but it absolutely did not. Dream pizza smells like the sauce or something had too much onion and garlic added, before it was properly cooked, then my crust was tough, as well as brunt. I was extremely disappointed because I purchased 2 family size pizzas, thinking my children and grandchildren would enjoy it, but nobody wanted the pizza, so I literally wasted $60. Okay, I attended a birthday party here a few nights ago and in short it was simply OKAY. Not great, not over the top just okay. The pizza is average at best and the service could be a lot better in my opinion. The place sells extra small shots that take at least 3 to fill a normal shot glass but at regular shot prices (Per other guest). The private room is very very small and in no way accommodating. 3 family sized pizzas well exceeded $100. This is not an establishment I personally would consider an option for an event. The ambiance and service is what you'd expect from a place like this. The service was quick enough and the cashier was really nice. However the pizza was mid I hate to say. For me, the most important parts of the pizza in order are: sauce, crust, toppings/cheese. I love a good thin crust pizza but this one was too damn thin bro. It was like cracker thin, no lie. A cheezit is thicker than this. The sauce and toppings were fine but bc the crust was so thin, it kinda gives that burnt taste like tavern pizza sometimes gives. Today my Hubby informed me there is a Black Owned and Operated Pizzeria locally in Marham, interest perked, let's try it I replied. Let me tell you good people, Hands Down, this Pizza is Absolutely Bursting With Flavor!!!! This pie is intentional!! The toppings are generous, fresh, and seasoned just right. We called ahead to order, when we arrived we were warmly greated. There was a slight mix up of tickets, but it was corrected over and above what was expected, so customer service I can confirm is top notch! There is a full bar, a small gaming area and the atmosphere was that of a favorite meet spot among friends. We need more places like those in our community, thanks DP on the 9, you get a High Five and the Promise that we will be back and we'll spread the word!!!!! read more

What up Yelpers! Today the wifey and I decided to take the advice of food reviewers " The Black Foodies ". We took the trip out to Markham, Il (30 min. ride) to try the pizza they raved about. We ordered a large thin crust w/ green peppers, onions, jalapeños & chicken sausage. They had our order hot & fresh when we got there!! The service was great. I love when people greet me with a smile Now for the pizza. It sort of reminds me of a pizza from Italian Fiesta. But this one is better. It was very flavorful!! The crust is probably my favorite part. It's Chicago tavern style pizza. And it's connected to a Bar Its a bit oily but that's more flavor, right? ‍ I'd recommend Dreams Pizza especially if you're in the area. I'll give them a solid 7.3/10....... y'all read more

Friendly owner and service and friendly customers who looked like not only regulars but also loyal fans of the establishment. The parking lot is average size and easy to get into the pizza place. I was so happy to see that they also have karaoke on the bar side of the place. We ordered a large pizza, half cheese/half pepperoni-mushroom. The owner was very accommodating, served pizza fast, and served us himself. The pizza place has a customer rewards program, too, so our family added our name to the list. The place has limited seating; it seemed like most customers ordered the pizza to go. We had to get home before Karoke started.. however, I'd love to return for pizza drinks and fun. I decided to stop in to dreams pizza on my way home from work. This is the second time that I have ordered pizza from this establishment. The first time was last year. I ordered a pepperoni with jalapeño pizza. The pizza itself was OK, but it was a bit burnt! so I decided to give them a second chance last night, Tuesday, August 12 . I ordered a small chicken sausage with pepperoni and jalapeños. My order was not correct, but I did not complain. I took the pizza home and I tried it. The pizza was very disgusting. I've been on my toilet since last night and here it is Wednesday morning. I'm not sure if it was spoiled meat or what, but I will not give this place another dollar! I truly want to call and ask for a refund, since I still have a large amount of the pizza left! They will not get a third chance to have me on the toilet! This is good pizza first and foremost! But I enjoy Beggars a lot more. I saw the review that was done on YouTube and I was down to try a new pizza spot. With it being a small area inside of a lounge, I think it's a gift and a curse. You have some people that may not want to deal with that environment and just want pizza but it can also work in their favor. You're in the lounge having a drink and you get hungry, you have pizza right there. But hopefully they expand into a standalone storefront. To the pizza! The ingredients were fresh. It taste like it was bought from the store that day. The crust was crispy which is my preference. It has good flavor and wasn't too greasy. Of course I love Beggars and they have a much thicker pie, Dream's in thinner like a normal pie but I think they're doing their thing. My top 10 pizza in the south suburbs in taste and quality, cheese is a good quality low-moisture mozzarella so it doesn't make the pizza oily and good cheese pulls. One of the best pan thin crust, don't taste like flour but a good restaurant oven. Price and portions are not so great could lower the price of the small cheese a $1 or few 10ths of a $1. Service it is terrible, every time I've order over the phone, I'm on hold for the long and after that have to talk to a stubborn person who hates their job.
