First time here , I wanted to try something new I usually go to Casey's or Jets if I'm out that way but I went to this place and got the capri special, first off I didn't even taste the meat I saw pepperoni and sausage but didn't taste it all I could taste was the overwhelming watery flavor of the greenpeppers and onions overtaking my pizza , the crust was subpar it tasted like there was no sauce just hella cheese. I only got a small which was overly priced at $22 dollars and I will not be back for more . It's better pizza for this ridiculous price . read more

This places has pretty good portions for the prices so if you're looking for a decent eat without breaking the bank check this place out. The Italian beef wasn't the best I ever had but I had ample tons of meat on it so that was great, peppers weren't hot and the cheese was cold so not tooo excited about that but don't let that deter you from visiting read more

I was told an hour for delivery then i received a call an hour later that the driver is heading to me but was stopped by a train to give him a couple minutes. I then called 30 minutes later and was told the driver had 2 deliveries to do before heading to me after being told he was heading straight to me. They told me they were going to call the driver and find out where he's at and they will call me straight back. I never heard back nor was my pizza ever delivered. read more

Yummy food with good portions. On T/A at the Whiting BP Refinery it's a great place to get a hearty lunch when time us of the essence!

Would give zero stars for their recent failure to cook a pizza. Ordered for pick up and showed up. They said it'll be ready soon. Then twenty minutes later said five more minutes. Then another twenty minutes and they figured out they didn't cook my order due to a mix up.!!!!! WTF. They offer a discount but I would still have to wait longer for the pizza. Horrible. Won't be calling them again. read more

One of my Favorite pizza places. All locations are pretty good. Original was in South Chicago but so glad they moved into Indiana

The bread is soft and they had enough Parmesan cheese to choke a horse. Service was quick but the person doesn't need to talk that fast, it was inaudible. Ambiance was casual. read more

We love this place! We've only ordered carry out or delivery of pizza and chicken. The chicken is broasted and is wonderful, juicy and flavorful. The pizza is fabulous. They really bring it with quality. I do feel the price is fair. The delivery is speedy and friendly. We've never had a bad experience ordering. read more

Since moving down the plaza the pizza has been more consistent in taste. The new location is amazing and a huge upgrade. The delivery drivers are well informed by the cashier ahead of time if a tip is added as in the past a single delivery driver would expect a tip or even ask for one. That has all stopped. This is my go to pizza for my area, I just wish it was cut better by the time it comes to my house the cutting has already melted over again. Hot Pizza!!! Of course just a little knit pick. read more

Food is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! Service is IMPECCABLY FANTASTIC! Ambiance is GREAT! I be eaten there with my family on many occasions! The place is always clean, organized and inviting' Very seldom do you ever find an establishment that CONSISTENTLY EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS! CAPRI WHITING has performed above and beyond for many, many years! Kudos to the Savarino Family and your entire staff! read more

OK they have really changed for the better. The food is much improved. The pizza is very good the fried chicken is very good, the cod fish is very good, and the shrimp too. The spaghetti, and the meat and cheese raviolis are very good. The appetizers are very good too. The Italian beef sandwiches are good too. The chicken tenders are very good. I have liked the stuffed pizza too. I am sad the meat balls for the pasta were too hard and in need of flavor. The Italian sausage was bland. The ribs need a better sauce. If they fix those items they will get a better review! read more

Ordered a Italian beef sandwich from here & about an hour later was met with food poisoning. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Amazing food! Has such a great taste and their service is great too! Would definitely recommend to go here, they have the best pizza!

Just placed a order this evening... Clearly said All pepperoni, half sausage, half jalapeño..had it repeated to me, Twice..and after waiting Over a Hour (yea, it's the Weekend, I get that!)...Of course my Pizza was made Wrong & it was Clearly not Entered Correctly!! (See picture of Ticket) Then to make matters worse, when I call in, the girl who initially took my order, attempts to compete with me saying that "i did repeat myself..and maybe I miss heard you!?"...a ya think?!!? And I know what I Said!!..And I know what I Heard!!...and that's Clearly Not what was Entered in the system!!.. Then all I can get to Correct the situation is to Wait a additional 30 mins. to Another Hour for my Pizza to be replaced..Oh and 4$ off my original order price (25% off of a 23$ bill + tip...is what I was told) *(which Was Not even given to me by the Different delivery guy with the replacement pizza!) (and of course, this was Only done after I asked several times to speak with the Manager..Which I never directly did!!).. Seriously!!..After all the times I have ordered and raved about Capri's & all the Money I've spent over Years of ordering from this location..and that's it!! Huh!!??! This is how treat your Loyal customers??...Okay!! Well, if getting a simple order correctly is too much to ask..I'll just take my business elsewhere. What a shame!! read more

Decent pizza and almost like Chicago pizza and at a good price. The sauce is decent and cheese is okay

We ordered a medium sausage and mushroom pizza. It was okay. Wife says it wasn't over sauced. Personally, I found it a tad salty judging from the slight pain I awaken with in my head after a short prime-time nap. (Strokes are no joke, so watch your sodium intake.) The sauce really didn't lend anything to promote the overall flavor of the pizza in my opinion. I wish I had a better report. Although I've been here on a few remote occasions previously, I see no reason to make this a routine choice for a pizza stop. I think better can be discovered elsewhere. It will require more research of the region. Aurelia's is just further down the road. read more

Solid solid pizza. Chicken is also excellent too. I wrk near here sometimes , so you cant go wrong with whatever you chose. I actually live near the sister store which is run by the cousins and it way out past Joliet in Shorewood IL. Same pizza ,chicken and food there too. The family is involved in both stores. Never had a problem with food or customer service at either place. Worth a stop. read more

Shame on you Capri Pizza in Whiting, Indiana for refusing to give my friend a cup of water when he asked for it after we spent over $30 for our order. You said we could buy a bottle of water, well we can also go to a different pizza place next time, the food is not even that good here. What goes around comes around, it is sad that you can't treat your paying customers right. read more

I've had Capri's pizzas multiple times over the years at events, but I had never really noticed the pizzas were from Capri's until recently. I've mostly had their standard-crust pizza, which is a thinner and crispier crust than the average pizza--my family's preference. I've had their margherita pizza from their Schererville location, and today I had a custom mushroom-pineapple one, which was actually a very good combination and about $20 for XL. I walked into the small, homey store front today and noticed how many workers and customers were there--very popular place on a Sunday evening. The price is pretty good in comparison to others around, and even my mom (not a pizza fan) enjoyed it. As I try more items, I'll add more details. read more

This place has produced very good Chicago style pizzas for many years, although some quality production consistently problems still persist, I am giving them 5 stars. Why would I move them up to 5 stars? Well, because over the past few months I have had the pleasure of ordering from their catering menu. Each and every time, the order was flawless. The food was absolutely delicious. Did you underestimated how many people are going to show up at your gathering (birthday party, holiday party, funeral)? No problem, call them ahead of time or last minute and they are miraculously able to accommodate your order. read more

Went with a few guys from work. Got some slices of pizza and a couple meatball sandwiches. The slices were ok, but the sandwiches were not good. the sauce was a bit bland, but the meat balls were just horrible. super fine ground, tasted almost like fake meat. not good at all. both of the sandwiches got half eaten and thrown out. I could swear the last time we went they were so good. not this time. read more
