This place is awesome (free WiFi), Great Deep dish pizza

Everything about this restaurant is great The staff makes you feel like you're among friends. The owners take pride in service and are often seen on the floor talking to their customers. The food is fantastic and that's why they have such a big following and thriving business.

We came all the way from California after seeing a TikTok video on the deep dish. The restaurant invited us to make reservations and here we are. When we walked in we were greeted by the kindest hostesses and the owner Chris immediately came to our table to welcome us. He was so kind and just a wonderful soul. We ordered the deep dish, an appetizer meatball and Chris complimented us with the BEST cheesecake ever. The food was AMAZING, the cheese the pull the SAUCE to DIE FOR! I highly recommend BARTOLINI. If I lived here I would be enjoying this restaurant weekly. Heavenly Father, continue to Bless Chris and his brother and this restaurant establishment. They are what is needed to help heal this broken world. May their business prosper and be a growing staple in their community. May they continue to be the light in this dark world. May you bless each family that enters this restaurant when they walk out they feel the love from each person that works there. I pray prosperity over BARTOLINI. In Jesus Name. Amen. Thank you so much. We will be back.

Bartolini Restaurant is a true gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable meal. The menu is a delightful blend of Italian and American cuisine, featuring standout dishes like their famous meatball sandwiches, deep-dish pizza, and homemade dessert. I enjoyed the gumbo! No pork and adding a dash of pepper I loved it! For most it's spicy enough! My fries were hot and salad had anchovies!!! They have a burgers with an outside patio area and one arm bandits in the back! So if you bring your kids watch them. They can get busy but I likeD it when I can have a private party all to myself in the afternoon. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for. Whether you're enjoying a casual lunch or celebrating a special occasion, Bartolini's delivers with impeccable service and mouthwatering flavors. Their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction shines through in every bite.

Nice big bar! I didn't see a pic of the bar on yelp so wanted everyone to know they had one.

Good food? Good service. The parking can bet difficult depending on how busy they. It has a nice south side Chicago feel to the building.

We waited until March then looked for a venue to renew vows and have a celebratory meal with family and friends. As we both had been to Bella Mia several times together it was a short search. We originally planned the event with a former employee who left the restaurant as the date, (March 21st), was approaching. Randy the owner then took over. He made several suggestions different from what we'd originally planned, including changing the area of the renewal of vows and where our wedding officiate would be in front of the guests, but they turned out to be perfect!! The event was nothing short of fantastic! My wife had tears in her eyes much of the service! The food was spectacular, and everyone raved about it! Randy and his staff gave us a wedding to remember, and we are eternally grateful for what Bella Mia did for us and couldn't be happier that was the venue we chose!!!

We came in looking forward to dinner and unfortunately left disappointed…read more The positives first: my wife's espresso martini was excellent -- easily the highlight of the evening. Her Chicken Vesuvio was very good, and the Shrimp DeJonghe appetizer was enjoyable, especially with the bread. Unfortunately, everything declined once the entrées arrived. My porterhouse steak was placed on the table rather abruptly, and the cut looked more like a T-bone, with the filet portion nearly nonexistent. The quality of the meat was poor and extremely tough -- barely edible. I rarely ask for A1 sauce with a steak, but it was the only way I could get through it. The baked potato was dry, and while the side salad was fresh, it felt more like cafeteria-quality than something from a restaurant at this price point. Shortly after dropping off the entrées, the waitress quickly asked how the food was. I responded, "just okay," but she immediately walked away, not giving the impression that she was interested in hearing anything further. That set the tone for the rest of the service. What made the situation more disappointing was seeing the table next to us receive the same porterhouse. Their steak appeared nearly twice the size of mine, had a clearly defined filet portion, and they were able to cut into it effortlessly. The inconsistency was very noticeable. After that, service was largely absent. We waited about 20 minutes trying to locate our waitress Dee with no success. The owner did stop by and was very friendly when we asked for A1 sauce, but overall the service remained slow. It took roughly 30 minutes to get a water refill and another 30 minutes to receive our check. The explanation given was that she had been in the back handling a difficult order. For the price and expectations that come with ordering a porterhouse, this experience did not meet the standard. While there were a few bright spots, the inconsistency in food quality and service makes this a 2-star experience at best.

We both love the pizza, and in fact, it's so good that we've hardly ever tried anything else. When we did stray off the pizza selection, the food has all been delicious. Contrary to popular belief, "Chicago Style" pan pizza isn't typically eaten every day by folks that live here. Everyone would be 1,000 pounds. The wife and I go to Louisa's probably 6-10 times a year because it's incredibly filling, but it NEVER disappoints. The service is always fantastic. I'm 99% sure the same family has owned it (Louisa's family - God rest her soul), so the whole "family vibe" is on full tilt at this place and it shows in their service. Servers who care about your business because the business itself is more than just a part time job. The restaurant is quaint, and is perfectly suited for either a date night or a full-on family function. Their side room is plant big enough to host a private party or event, and I know they often book that room for exactly that. But the real focus for us is the pizza. The pans that are used over and over again. The buttery crust that is always crispy and not too think. The ripe tomatoes that are always seasoned perfectly... the real of the show at Louisa's is their sausage. It's literally like none other we've ever had and we love it!! This place is a must try for locals that love pan pizza!

A few teens may occasionally come in but most aren't. This is popular with the locals and matures. Coming here certainly makes one think about how they stay in business. That sounded promising, and since they're under new management, we figured we'd give them another try for dinner. Big mistake. They haven't improved at all--in fact, they've gone downhill. What they served as a "New York strip" was the same thin steak you'd expect with a steak‑and‑eggs breakfast. A cigarette is probably the same thickness as the piece of meat they brought me. I ordered it medium‑rare, and it arrived with a gray center. They did offer to re‑cook it, but I wasn't about to go through that. There's simply no way to cook a steak that thin like an actual steak, so I didn't even bother letting them try again. The place was practically empty on a Friday night--just one older man and a couple tucked away in a corner. Honestly, the empty parking lot should've been our warning. Total fail. Never again.

I like that the ordering area is right in front of you when you walk in, and that the boards with menu items are above. Off to the right are pastries and to the left is the gelato. Along the left wall are some two tops and to the right are some four tops. So, you can come here in a group, or on your own. The food: I asked for a tester of the strawberry cheesecake gelato. This was good. A little bit icey, but good flavor. My partner ordered a scoop of the chocolate chip in a cone and enjoyed it. I thought his was a little icey as well, but again had good flavor. There was a picture of a bagel with avocado and tomato on google maps, that I wanted to try. I asked what it was bc I didn't see it on the menu and they said it was the avocado toast. They offered to put it on a bagel, and I asked if cream cheese could be added. This bagel is fantastic. It's so fresh. And you can see how perfect the avocado was; it was perfectly ripe. They also added some olive oil and her , but they left off the feta and tomato. I think those two toppings would have made this epic. Nonetheless, it was yummy. The drinks: I ordered a chai tea latte because they said they made their chai syrup in house. When I tasted it, I realized they made it in water first, rather than in milk, and it wasn't spicy like a traditional chai. I could taste cinnamon, but I didn't taste cloves, cardamom, black pepper, anise, ginger, etc. This was okay. Next time I might try one of their tea bags because they have a large selection. My partner ordered a mocha. He said it was good. Parking: They have a shared lot out front and we were able to find a space without issue. Overall impression: I intend to come back to try more of their food items and other teas. The people who work here are wonderful and the location is great.
