Food has always been great. My complain is about the manager or owner. We called because the pepperoni on our pizzas tasted odd. Even the kids noticed the off taste. So we called it in and instead of helping us, the manager or owner proceeded to tell us that nothing is wrong. That he's been using the same product for years. And that it might taste different because they put the pepperoni on top. Again, this isn't the first we order. He said there was nothing he could do. This man fails to understand that you can order the same product for years and a batch could be off. That's why things come with lot numbers. We won't be reordering anytime soon. This stuffed pizza will not disappoint! The sauce is not too sweet and it has a perfect flavor balance. I also got an order of cheese sticks and fries. The cheese sticks were great and full of flavor. The fries were good but they don't offer any cheese to make them into cheese fries which was a disappointment but overall I enjoyed pizza night with my kids and will ordering again soon. read more

This place is quite literally my most favorite pizza place of ALL TIME! Anytime I have someone visiting from outside of Chicago I make sure they try Cipriani's stuffed crust pizza. It's way better than Giordano's by a LONG shot and it's WAY cheaper! Their thin crust pizza is absolutely amazing too. We usually get that honestly because stuffed pizza is more of a special occasion thing. I'm not usually a fan of BBQ wings, but theirs are absolutely amazing; they have a really good smoky flavor. Flew into Chicago and found Cipriani's pizza on yelp. It was close to the airport and I was looking for must eat Chicago style pizza. This place was absolutely amazing when it came to the flavor and texture of the food. Do yourself a favor if you're near the airport and give this place a shot. The staff was great the pizza maker put on a show for my kids. They were tossing that pizza up like they have been doing it for a really really really long time. I ordered a pepperoni/sausage mix pizza. It was ok. Nothing special. After I took a bite the dough didn't look cooked well. I put it in the oven a little longer. I also ordered fries and fried zucchini. The fries were good. My suggestion on the fried zucchini is that they cut the zucchini slices much thinner. They were also kind of bland. One of the best deep dish pizza's I've had. We ordered a medium stuffed pepperoni pizza. This is definitely enough food for two people, with 3 pieces leftover. After ordering we watched the chef press out, toss, and form the dough. Clearly house-made dough, which is cool. This pizza isn't too heavy on the cheese (and as a result isn't greasy at all). The crust is fairly thin and was baked to a nice crispness (a great contrast with the gooey filling). My husband, who isn't normally a fan of deep dish, sang this pizza's praises. The sauce is tangy and flavorful. Overall, the result is a surprisingly light slice. Service was very good, and everyone was kind and helpful. It's a small place (only 5 booths), so I'd imagine if you go at a busy time you might want to choose carry out. Not a fancy place, just great pizza. Overall I have to say Cipriani's is my personal favorite pizza place. They don't just serve excellent pizza, but the way they make it is just incredible. Whether it's the thin crust or deep dish, simply can't go wrong to trying it out at least once. I've also tried the breaded steak sandwich which comes with fries or a soup if preferred. Delicious. Unimpressive, really bland pizza. The garlic bread is pretty much a joke. Think they're using garlic salt? WTF!?! That's not how a restaurant should serve garlic bread. Have some pride, y'all. This pizza is great!!! Their crust is nice and crispy (thin crust). Their sauce is not as sweet as other places in Garfield Ridge, which is to our liking. Since the first time we ordered, we've had it 4 more times and everytime it was delicious! We also ordered their wings and fried zucchini, not going to lie, I'll stick with their pizza. We ordered delivery from here at a friend's house over the weekend. We were quoted a 1hr15 min wait time, and their quote was absolutely correct. At least we didn't have our hopes up for a shorter arrival time! The person who ordered asked for a phone call upon arrival due to their tiny babies and hyperactive dog. They followed through on that call, which was much appreciated. Our friends ordered a deep dish pizza with pepperoni. Once it finally arrived, I was shocked at the price tag... $21! I've known deep dish to be way more expensive at other places, so we were happy to pay. We each ended up getting two slices for 4 people, feeling stuffed for about $5 a person-- not a bad deal at all! The pizza itself was pretty good. It arrived very hot, and was loaded with cheese. The pepperoni didn't taste like much, but I think that's due to the acidity of the sauce. The sauce is definitely more of an acidic tomato flavor, not sweet by any means. The crust in some spots was kind of soggy, but overall it was good. Pizza like this, although true to Chicago, is a total calorie bomb and your stomach will enjoy it going down, but regret it later that night and the next morning. As far as the Pizza is concerned it's OK, nothing special. I had the thin crust cheese, which was slightly thicker than what you would get in Italy - so no authenticity here. My biggest beef was that there was no A/C in this place and other than the light from the RC Cola fridge there wasn't a single light on in the whole establishment. Everybody in the place was wearing shorts because it's was so hot inside. If they skimp on A/C and lights I can't help but wonder what else they skimp on. Service leaves a lot to be desired, we saw our server twice, once for the food order and once for the delivery. My colleague was given the wrong pizza, he ordered a double (thick) crusted but received a thin one. However, there was no way of rectifying this since the server never returned. Lastly they cut the pizza into small squares, which I found goofy since the spatula they give you is narrow on the end and consequently these tiny slices fall off.
