    Pubwich

As with all Gino's the service can be hit or miss; hence the 4 stars. Tonight however we had a 5 star night. Ordered a pubwich (a ham and cheese with a pizza crust turnover for bread) and it was delicious. Service was quick and the girl on the phone was friendly. The pizza is one of two things. The best in the valley (for the style it is) or the worst. They used to have a buffet, but it too comes and goes. The sandwiches here though are always good.

DO NOT EAT HERE! They would not deliver 1.3 miles up the road. We had a 150$ order and they couldn't bring it 1.3 miles. Ridiculous

I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.

When I have inquired about a cheese only version, people looked at me like I had 10 heads. Until we stopped into Grazianos. Very homey vibe in there. Smells like you would expect an authentic Italian spot to smell. Bc we must have looked lost, they gave us instructions on how to proceed: sit anywhere, review the menu and then come up to order. There was a bunch of appealing shit, a lot of heavy hitters on the appetizer menu especially like basically anything you could ever want in fried form like fries, fried ravioli, mozz sticks, pretzel with dips as well as salads, pastas, sandwiches, PIZZA, and desserts. I already knew I wanted their spinach and cheese roll. After a quick conference with GF, we also decided on a small cheese pizza. We both wanted beer and under the pressure of ordering, both elected to get the large size. The large size was wholly unnecessary because it was XXXXL size and we were both able to consume about half, maybe slightly more. The pizza was fantastic. It was not quite traditional NY style but as far as outside NY Pizza goes, it was solid. I did not intentionally capitalize the P in Pizza there, my phone did, but it is appropriate. The spinach and cheese roll was crack. The ricotta really adds something. The dough was soft but crisp at the edges. The accompanying sauce was so flavorful and delicious. I wasn't at all planning on finishing it but I really didn't have much of a choice. The people that worked there were also super nice. I'm glad we were able to swoop in before heading to the airport home from WV.
