Like Mark stated... BEST PIZZA IN WV!…read more I too have been to Chicago, NY, etc... and can not find a pizza as tasty as Lorobi's! Had it for lunch yesterday actually! My parents have been eating this pizza since they were "courting" (see: dating) and have carried on the tradition of rushing to St Albans and back with warm pizza ever since. I'm now in my 30's and my kids are now reeping the benefits of this local jewel. Can't wait to schedule another Lorobi's night! Worth the $!

Gemini kinda misled me bc they made it sound like getting a cheese roll or a vegetarian version of…read morethe iconic West Virginia pepperoni roll would be easy but it has not been. When I have inquired about a cheese only version, people looked at me like I had 10 heads. Until we stopped into Grazianos. Very homey vibe in there. Smells like you would expect an authentic Italian spot to smell. Bc we must have looked lost, they gave us instructions on how to proceed: sit anywhere, review the menu and then come up to order. There was a bunch of appealing shit, a lot of heavy hitters on the appetizer menu especially like basically anything you could ever want in fried form like fries, fried ravioli, mozz sticks, pretzel with dips as well as salads, pastas, sandwiches, PIZZA, and desserts. I already knew I wanted their spinach and cheese roll. After a quick conference with GF, we also decided on a small cheese pizza. We both wanted beer and under the pressure of ordering, both elected to get the large size. The large size was wholly unnecessary because it was XXXXL size and we were both able to consume about half, maybe slightly more. The pizza was fantastic. It was not quite traditional NY style but as far as outside NY Pizza goes, it was solid. I did not intentionally capitalize the P in Pizza there, my phone did, but it is appropriate. The spinach and cheese roll was crack. The ricotta really adds something. The dough was soft but crisp at the edges. The accompanying sauce was so flavorful and delicious. I wasn't at all planning on finishing it but I really didn't have much of a choice. The people that worked there were also super nice. I'm glad we were able to swoop in before heading to the airport home from WV.

Under the cheese it's literally bare in a lot of the pizza. What sauce that is not that good. The dough has too many air pockets in it and smells like fried food. There is way too much cheese on the pie and it's overly salty. Sausage was sparse and missing on some of the slices as were the onions. The pepperoni is the only good item. It's disappointing because they used to be such a good NY style pizza. The picture looks good but trust me it's not.

The service was genuinely friendly and made the experience even better. I ordered a sausage pizza with onions and added banana peppers. The sausage was packed with flavor without overpowering the rest of the toppings, the onions were a nice touch, and the banana peppers turned out to be a perfect addition to an already great pizza. The sauce had just the right amount of tang, tying everything together nicely. I was looking for pizza and I planned on stopping in Charleston to eat, and there are several options but based on the reviews I chose this place and it was a great choice! Sunday brunch order of waffles and scrambled eggs took 45 minutes from the kitchen. The best part is that it was cold. Perhaps the kitchen manager is under the impression that most patrons to brunch will be 2-3 mimosas deep and not notice the timing or the lack of any real flavor to the meal. I've had better brunch at any given roadside motel with "breakfast included". Slow Daddy's has better dinner food to be sure. What will prove to be the undoing is 45 minutes for a brunch order and a two hour wait for a dinner order from the kitchen.
