The people was friendly a smile on everyone face. I myself have never seen that before in food service. The food was amazing!!!! The restaurant was very clean and so was the restroom

What a great find on our road trip. The staff at the Sleep and across the street told us about this place. Kind of off the beaten path in a gravel parking lot. " you had to know about it." Delightful staff and owner. Meatball Sub and Italian sub with delicious. Furnishings on the inside are a little tired, but the food is worth it

My wife and I came down to visit out son. He told us about Barone Brother's Pizza place. I went in hoping to find out that they were some sort of distant relation but sad to say, no. Even though I was disappointed to find out that Mark Barone (the owner) was not related, I was not disappointed with the pizza. We ordered a Supreme Medium and Hawaiian Medium. Both were cooked perfectly and very tasty. The sauce was very good -- not spicy or acidic. The crust was well cooked, not doughy and filling. Overall, the pizza was very good. Barone Brother's Pizza has been in existence for 16 years. Originally owned by Mark and his brother, it has been owned by Mark and Nicky (his lovely wife) for the last 11 years. While we were there were quite a number of people taking out, especially subs! If you are looking to support a local business, and are in the mood for pizza and subs, then look no further.

Nice staff, and quick service. Pizza is VERY basic. It's like if Gino's and Little Caesars had a love child. It's not bad, and for a quick last minute dinner if you're not passing by anywhere else locally I would suggest it. Other than that, it will not be a staple place when there are many other much better pizza joints in Charleston. The crust was reminiscent of pillsbury dough pizza crust, and the sauce was more like a herby marinara dipping sauce crossed with a spaghetti sauce. Cheese was good and they're generous when you order it with extra cheese. Overall an OK pizza.

A must try just north of Charleston directly off I-79 exit 1 Mink Shoals. Got a large Meatball specialty, large pepperoni and banana pepper and cheesy bread sticks.

Absolutely have loved every meal from here, and there have been many! My favorite is the BBQ Chicken pizza.

I just moved here from NJ. The owner Mark is a Jersey guy like me. Sandwiches are amazing and remind me of home!

Stopped in for a bite and the food was good. The overall ambiance could be better but otherwise fast friendly service.

Nastiest tasting pizza I ever had. Workers inside must be the owners because they are also very cocky.

Best Pizza around town. If you haven't been here, you need to get here pronto. It's right down from where I work. So I stop here often.

This led us to believe it was PAR BAKED for faster Customer Service which to many is NOT A PLUS! The Garlic Knots were very doughy and extremely dense in texture. Not a fan! The service was fast and friendly but for the atmosphere, price and the fact they are trying to be trendy, the paper plates & plastic cutlery was a BIG NEGATIVE!! I know myself even if Melanac Hard Plastic for plates is okay, but I want true Silverware!! The sauce has a really Great flavor and the cheese pull was very nice on the pizza. I give them a 5 out of 5 on atmosphere and ambience they nailed that! I give them a 4 out 5 on Customer Service because the food came too fast!! I give them a 3 out 5 for the food, the sauce was perfect but everything else about taste and flavor was a hit and miss. The score might have been higher if I had left off the Knotty Boy Garlic Knots!! The beer though I tasted it wasnt bad but Im not a beer drinker, my hubby was very disappointed so thats 2 out of 5 stars and the tableware scores a zero!! I wasn't on a picnic and the paper and plastic screams picnic or lazy kitchen staff to me!! So, would I recommend? I must say overall, 3 stars out of 5 stars! We ordered a $15 rectangle Detroit pizza, which was absolutely superb. However, they serve such a flimsy, plastic knife and fork. You can barely cut through the pizza much less eat it! I am emphasizing "strongly" that the business invest in better plasticware. My friend had a Diet Coke that was served in a can with a straw and it wasn't very cold. They don't provide ice, which is also a bit of a problem for people who like cold soft drinks. Also ice is pretty much necessary in water and some people like to also put it in their white wines. Other than that, what a great little restaurant downtown, Charleston is lucky to have them

I quickly said, "medium rare". I like my fair share of redness in my beef. After a considerable wait, it arrived along with the fries. One bite in the burger and it was VERY obvious, it wasn't medium rare. In fact, I don't believe it could have more well done without being charred. It was sooo dry and the flavor was nonexistent. The fries were pretty good. When the server came to ask about everything, I told her that it was far from medium rare. She then said, "oh, I forgot about that".
