Visiting WV to see my brother. Decided to order in pizza because everyone had been driving all day. Called to order pizza and was greeted by the rudest, awful speaking person ever. Very unprofessional. Was told it would be 45 minutes. Ended up being about an hour and a half. The food is the only saving grace for Bellissimo. Probably some of the best pizza we've ever had. Soft crust. Fresh ingredients. The fried pickle spears were to die for. I would have given this place 5 stars. I ordered their SMALL calzone and cheesesticks. It was around 20 bucks. They offer small and large. The small was HUGE!!! I can't imagine how big the large is. The only downside is that there is a 15 buck minimum for online orders. Hence, why I had to order cheesesticks. I ended up giving part of my calzone to my son because it was just so big, I couldn't eat it all. The staff was extremely friendly. They are located in Belle, right outside of Charleston. My advice is to save your appetite if you order from there because the portions are so big. We will be back! read more

Bellissimo's definitely has good food. Today was my first time eating in the restaurant before we always had to-go orders. For the hour or so we were there, they were busy with take out orders. I realized why, the music was so loud that you felt like you were at the actual concert. Then except for the guys preparing the food it was pretty much help yourself. Plates, plastic ware, napkins, drinks etc were all help yourself. The tables and chairs could have been washed off. Again really good food but best to have it to-go. read more

First time eating at Bellissimo. Ordered takeout as we were staying very close by. It was Sunday and about 45 min before closing. Only ordered a Greek salad, chef salad and the pepperoni roll. My wife said the Greek salad was very good. My chef salad was ok. The lettuce was sort of shredded rather than chopped and it had too much mozzarella cheese for my taste. The hit was the pepperoni roll. Crust was great-crispy without being greasy. The roll was filled with cheese and pepperoni not to much sauce. Just excellent. Bellissimo is a nice neighborhood place. My dad and I just tried this place for the first time. I ordered the chicken strips as an appetizer and a 10 inch Hawaiian pizza. They were really good. If you like crispy chicken strips, you'll really like them. The pizza had more than enough cheese on it, and ample ham and pineapple. My dad got the cheese fries and meatball sub, which he thoroughly enjoyed. The guys who run the place work really hard, and are very friendly. We had a chat with one of the owners. Super nice guy. They let us borrow a couple of their chairs and we ate on my dad's tailgate outside. All in all, we had a tremendous visit, and highly recommend stopping by and getting some grub! read more

Settle in while I testify, folks! I haven't posted pics of our weekly Bellisimo's visit for a while and since we tried some new things this evening, I thought it was time for a review. Bellisimo has knocked it out of the park once again! While we usually don't stray from our favorite pasta dish (shrimp Alfredo), we've been wanting to try some new things for a while so we decided to eat from there TWICE this week! Mostly because I've been craving those Buffalo Chicken Twists with their amazing Ranch Dressing since we first tried them last Sunday! I'm calling them Crack Buffalo Twists! So tonight, feeling incredibly carnivorous (don't judge us), we finally tried their Bacon Cheeseburger, cooked medium (please note that it usually comes with lettuce, tomato and onion but the hubs won't eat veggies), fries (comes with burger), a small (10") meat lovers pizza and, of course, the Chicken Buffalo Twists with Ranch dressing. It was total comfort food at its best and I don't regret it! I mean, we did it so we could provide this review. For you! We sacrificed for you! Let's start with their fries which weren't even on my radar when I decided on our takeout. These are totally the best homemade fries I've probably ever had. I don't know what kind of seasoned salt they put on them, but they were delish. I usually don't even eat the fries that come with a burger but I couldn't quit reaching for these. I had heard from friends that the burgers were amazing and, indeed, it was. So juicy, cooked to perfection, thick slice of creamy, melted cheese and thick, tasty bacon on a delicious, fresh bun. Easily one of the best burgers in town. And they have other delicious-sounding speciality burgers, as well, or build your own. Then, that pizza! OMG! Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Meat Lovers Heaven! They did not skimp on toppings and their homemade sauce is divine! I actually asked them to bake it a little longer because I like a crispier crust and it was da bomb! Their homemade crust is everything! Finally, those Buffalo Chicken Twists! Melted cheese, white meat Chicken, Buffalo sauce, all rolled in their homemade dough and baked! Dipping that twist with the cheese running out of the roll in their famous Ranch dressing was almost more than we could handle! Nom nom nom. I'm telling you, Heaven on a plate. I give everything 5 out of 5 WOOT WOOTS! And let me finish by saying that these are the nicest owners ever. Three brothers who do all the cooking, homemade recipes, they know all their regulars by name! It's definitely like family. We've been going there since way before the pandemic and I cannot wait until we can sit down inside again and visit a spell with them. Nice family! Great food! Shop local! My husband and I went here to eat today (March 15, 2018) because we had read the wonderful reviews in the Charleston newspapers. We got there about 7:45 pm. Small place, maybe 6 tables, but we knew this from reading the newspaper articles. Had to wait for the server to clean off a table for us but that was ok, too. Several ladies who were leaving told us how good everything was, and that the portions were huge. There appeared to be only one waitress who was doing both cash register and waitressing duties. She came and took our drink order and my husband went ahead and placed an order for the garlic knots while we were deciding what else we wanted. She came back to the table and told us they were OUT OF DOUGH! So much for my husband's calzone and my pizza, and the garlic knots. It's 8:00 in the evening and you're out of dough??? She said they make it fresh everyday and that he was making some more now but it would take awhile. NOT GOOD! So,,,,,,I order a philly steak hoagie and my husband orders their super sub, and we both got a salad as our side dish. Their homemade ranch dressing is VERY good. The rolls the sandwiches were on was really good, nice and soft. Both sandwiches were good. But it took 25 minutes for us to get the 2 sandwiches. By this time we were the only people in the dining area, but in all fairness, several people did come in to pick up to-go orders. Here is what I did not like about this restaurant. The TV was on a kids channel and was too loud for such a small place, but I found out later why it was probably on a kids channel. Behind the counter was a little kids table set up with crayons, etc., and there was a cute little toddler running around, so I assume this little area was for him. Our server was, from what I could understand, this little guy's aunt. At one point she picked him up, he looked to be about three, sat him on the counter where you pay, and wiped his nose! At no time did I see her go wash her hands and believe me, I watched!. Thankfully we already had our food and had eaten most of it, or I would not have accepted it. My husband would not even order a refill of his Pepsi because of this. Don't get me wrong, we love kids, but sitting them on the counter where to-go orders are set waiting to be paid for, and then wiping his nose there also, is unacceptable! So, I go to the bathroom before we leave. There is NOTHING in there to dry your hands on, but when you come out of the bathroom, by the stairs to go to the dining area, there are 2 big towel dispensers mounted to the wall, but no trash can to put the used towels in. Why are they not mounted on the wall IN the restroom??? And I don't think I remember seeing a trash can in the restroom even if you would go back in there to dispose of your towel. So, not sure I would return, even tho we both wanted to try their pizza. I understand this is a small, new business in a small community. But a restaurant should not double as a day care, and staff should be trained regarding the importance of health and hygiene regulations. read more

Second visit. Very kind and friendly owner(s) and staff. Everything on disposable plates containers. Limited seating. Excellent meatballs and red sauce. A lot of mozzarella on tops of main courses, although good, I prefer fresh parmesan or even the shaker variety to mozzarella. Best fried pickles ever. Love the eggplant and chicken parmesans. Warmed dinner bread could use more butter and garlic, and cinnamon rolls and other bread desert could use a lot more butter and sugar in and around the dough. Visual presentation of these made-when-ordered bread desserts is masterful. Worth the trip to visit this family-run business. read more

Great tucked away place. We travel from Ohio to south and back and this is a place I will crave as I pass through West Virginia. I arrive on time only to wait 25 minutes for my ham and pepperoni pizza, which ended up only having ham because they were out of pepperoni. Also, very rude with no customer service skills.
