Our company ordered burgers and fries from there today. The burgers are not fresh; they are frozen patties unlike what they told us. The bacon was raw-I was told it couldn't be raw because she put it on the grill and had cooked for 23 years (totally makes it ok). Fries were soggy and undercooked unlike what we ordered. Will not order again due to raw foods and horrible management and customer service. Everyone's food was awful. Please do not advertise new burgers and fries if you cannot serve the public with cooked food. read more

I have been getting pizza from Lorobi's for over forty years. Since the new owners took over, they have made improvements to the building. Unfortunately, the service has gone way downhill. When they make a mistake on your order, they act like it is your fault. I will definitely be buying there less often. I have been eating Lorobis Pizza since I was a little girl. In St Albans where it originated, it was the only pizza. That's right ...no dominoes, Pizza Hut, Poppa John etc.. I have always craved it and am so happy I can get it in Charleston. It is unique. The crust and sauce are delicious. They pile on the toppings. I read a review that said it is gas station pizza. This locally owned treasure has the most amazing tomato sauce I've had and I've lived in New York, been to Chicago and tried every pizzaria in Pittsburgh and no place beats Lorobi's. Buttery, tasty crust and garlic as an optional topping! The dine-in area is a throw back to 1974. Coolness. Like Mark stated... BEST PIZZA IN WV! I too have been to Chicago, NY, etc... and can not find a pizza as tasty as Lorobi's! Had it for lunch yesterday actually! My parents have been eating this pizza since they were "courting" (see: dating) and have carried on the tradition of rushing to St Albans and back with warm pizza ever since. I'm truly astounded by some of these bad reviews. Lorobi's Pizza is some of the absolute best pizza anywhere. It is truly delicious. I've never met anyone who doesn't absolutely love it. In fact, most people I know spend upwards of an hour round trip just to get food here. They have a unique way of cutting their pizza in strips, and the sausage is the best I've ever had. They only accept cash, and they do not deliver. I know they have a dine in area, but it is more of a takeout pizza place. They have a drive up window, which is super convenient. read more

I travel pretty regularly and Lorobi's Pizza is the best pizza that I can find. Though I've lived in the area for a good bit of time, I didn't start eating at Lorobi's Pizza until 6 years ago. When I did, I became hooked. There are other, more sophisticated, also expensive pizzerias in the area, but none come close to Lorobi's. The staff isn't that friendly, the atmosphere is awful, but the pizza is why I visit. It makes up for what the restaurant lacks. Edit: I wrote this review a couple years ago, but after a number of bad experiences, I feel that I need to change it. The pizza still tastes good, but the quality has been steadily declining. During our last visit, we decided to say something about the pizza quality. It's a lot of money to spend to not get what you're paying for. I told them my problem, they said that this isn't how my pizza is supposed to be, so they replaced it. The replacement pizza had the exact same problems. You don't order pizza to spend an hour and a half trying to fix issues. That's what Lorobi's has become, a disappointing hassle. read more
