Food was delicious and quick. I always like visiting a local restaurant over a chain and for Italian in Oklahoma City, Fazio's was delicious. I tried the sausage pizza and pasta salad and a chocolate dipped cannoli. The staff behind the counter were friendly and restaurant looked well kept. This has been my favorite Italian restaurant since childhood. I left West Virginia 26 years ago, but every time I visit I have to come at least once. Tonight's dinner was better than ever!! My mom absolutely loved the gourmet creamy dressing. I'm a creature of habit and stuck to my usual - lasagna with marinara, salad with house dressing and blue cheese crumbles, and garlic bread. I just wanted to say thank you to Tim for helping me host a special friend from Las Vegas tonight. Her specialty is hidden gems when she travels for her work, as it IS her work for a traveling magazine. His service, suggestions and attentiveness were exceptional. My only problem came when my out of town friend tried to pick up the check and was left COMPLETELY EMBARRASSED by the lady running the cash register. My friend misheard Tim and tried to beat me to the check as I was in the bathroom. Most restaurants in Las Vegas drop the bill and someone pays it at exit. After great service and food, her final VISITING impression of Fazio's... was of Tim being yelled at as she tried to cash the check out. (YES, the cashier pulled him AWAY from another table, in the middle of the tables order, to belittle him in front of her!) My friend, embarrassed, apologized due to HER OWN error and was dismissed as she was made to witness the server be verbally attacked for her own error... I can see why they are for sale and will not be hurrying back anytime soon. Awful management. read more

We have been going to fazios for years. We said we wouldn't go again but we tried one more time. They won't get another dollar from us . The prices have increased and portion sizes got smaller. Some in our party ordered cokes and we never got them but we're charged for them. Now they charge you for the garlic bread that used to be complimentary. The pizza was terrible. On top of that we were charged a 20 % tip because there were 9 of us (3 were kids). This place is not what it used to be. read more

Old school Italian, nothing fancy at all, in fact you feel like you are in a time machine, however food is good, service matches the food. Had the spaghetti which was nothing fancy but still decent. I ate dinner here this evening with a large group of friends, despite my reservations about the restaurant. I've always felt it was pricey for Italian food. All in all, it was a good experience. The food was good with nice presentation and average to above average taste. The service was somewhat slow, but tolerable. Ambiance was pleasant. The reason for my low rating is that I was over-charged twice for the coffee I ordered. In no other restaurant I have ever eaten at have I been charged for a second cup of coffee. Even at that, the menu listed coffee at $2.75 per cup. I was charged $7.50 for two cups. Maybe I'm not great at math, but 2.75X2=5.50 in my world. I called this to the waiter's attention and was dismissed. I hate feeling cheated. It is doubtful that I will ever eat there again. read more

The lady at the front desk (I think maybe the owner) was very nasty to us for not sharing her political beliefs. After a lovely meal, on the way out we noticed the multiple Trump photos in the lobby. We commented that we didn't realize this was a Trump establishment. The lady at the front desk replied, "Hell yeah it is!" We then said we didn't plan to return, to which she said, "Good! Love the eggplant parm. Delicious! My suggestion would be this. I sincerely believe they should serve spaghetti with this wonderful dish. You have to order separately and they charge. I lived in Washington, DC for 45 years now retired back home in West Virginia. I've had eggplant parm in many cities/places over the years and spaghetti is ALWAYS served automatically. I've been back in Charleston for 5 years now and have been wanting to say this every single time I go to Fazios. I love Fazios, but you need to step up your game on this. This establishment is the most special place I have ever entered in my life. The server Katie made our dining experience perfection. She frequently refilled our drinks so we would not get parched. Her manners were unlike any others, her smile was like gold, she made us feel as if she was a long time family friend. The atmosphere in Fazio's is unlike any others. The art on the main rooms back wall was hand painted, the selected art of Italy made us forget we were in West Virginia and took us right to Italy. The Cajun chicken is not to forget, served with a lemon and little leaves on top. The flavors of the meatballs were astronomical, never will I taste another meatball that mind boggling. The food presentation is unmatched, the baked spaghetti came in beautifully crafted dishes. The white cloths were so pristine and ready to be stained by the outstanding sauces. Just a classic, old-style Italian restaurant! As a diabetic, I've shied away from pasta, potatoes and rice the past few years, but occasionally I can have a treat! Here, the Basil Chicken is my go to dish. A creamy lemon sauce over grilled chicken and fresh basil. I'll eat a small portion of the pasta. Stopped in here one evening while out of town and I can honestly say, Fazio's deserves far more than 5 stars if it were possible. We had a large group of about 25 so you can imagine the size of the order but Fazio's handled our dinner with extreme attention to detail and absolute perfection. I opted for the blackened filet that was served with a Cajun pasta and blackened scallops and without a doubt this was the finest example of a steak I've ever had at ANY restaurant, including those that specialize in steak! Several others in our party had steaks, as well as many other pasta type dishes and there were zero complaints to be had. We will gladly return to this establishment when in the area again, I just wish they were closer! read more

Definitely overrated and overpriced for such a small serving of food! My fiancée had the regular "small" spaghetti with meat sauce and I had the lasagna. The spaghetti was very bland and barely had any meat in the "meat sauce". The lasagna was decent but such a small portion for the price paid. I wouldn't even consider the side salad a salad. Just chunks of the core a slice of tomato and cucumbers. The service wasn't that great either. For $70.00 worth of food between the two of us I would expect to be full and have leftovers for later.
