The Best of the best!! The ambiance, service and the food is always delicious. My favorite is the baked clams, it's a must. The broth is so good you must ask for extra bread to just dip and enjoy! Worst place in USA maybe the World, is a dump, dirty ripped booth seats, terrible service and Pizza. I paid $34 for a nonna pizza they bring me a square pizza wasn't nonna wasn't sicilian, it had not taste, it was mushy they use frozen dough and imitation mozzarella, they got not brick oven. Dear Ginos: It's on. Some background on me: Born and raised here in LB, I stop by from time to time for the quick after train slice. Fine. Not terrible, not great but hey I'm coming from Brooklyn and the slices there shame pizza everywhere. The atmosphere is always cool, the people who work there seem to all be very happy and courteous so this is a plus. I recognize some of the pizza guys from twenty years ago. The outdoor seating is lovely and the location couldn't be better but what I have to ask you is why. Why did you change the quality of your dining food? We used to love this place. Haven't eaten there (other than pizza) in a few years, I decided to give it a go tonight. I was with a rather large party and we were all starving and ready to eat. The wine menu was limited however everyone was pleased and I must say the merlot was lovely. Water was never refilled although requested multiple times. Now it is 11 PM on the eve of a big meeting tomorrow morning and I have been on the toilet for the past four hours. It is with deep regret that I solemnly swear that I will never return to your establishment as long as I live so help me God. Your menu should come with warning labels similar to those put on the backs of cigarette boxes. "May cause death by diarrhea" "Sudden nuclear bombs may explode. Proceed with caution" "Our food can cause harm to your children" "Second hand vapors will cause death" "The amount of salt in our mozzarella triangles can be extracted and used to embalm a body" "Will cause a slow and painful death consisting of organ and extremity inflation until explosion" "Beware the cheese" Brocolli Raab - Grinch poop in disguise. It'll be Christmas in your bathroom for hours. Don't forget some yuletide carols for the ride. The raw garlic mixed into the broccoli is raw, not undercooked: it was raw. There will be no gingerbread cookies tonight. Stuffed rigatoni in pink sauce - Sawdust laced in baby vomit. The rigatoni was thicker than the "ricotta" filling if you could call it ricotta. Definitely out of a giant box from the freezer. Why didn't the chunks of mozzarella diced on top melt? They never melted. I even ordered a cup of tea and dropped a chunk in... still no melt. WHAT IS THE MOZZARELLA I MUST KNOW. That was tofu wasn't it. Meatballs - flavorless cafeteria sludge. Missing taste. Brown them around the edges it will add flavor. Bread and butter - I'd rather do the dishes in the back. For a party of five we got four rolls and three crackers with a rock hard hunk of butter. It was comical watching grown men fight with a piece of rock butter. Also it was sad. Eggplant parm - SALTED Just one question on this: Was there added MSG from the Chinese fast food places in this? My friend texted me as soon as he got home stating his eyes were puffing up. His wife sent me a photo of him an hour later with ice packs on his eyes laying on the couch. Chocolate cake - Dry as a fart Cannolli - Tears for fears. My grandmother would cry if she tasted that. Wait. No. Sicily's Mount Etna would cry. Then erupt. The island would resemble the inside of my toilet at the end of hour one. My father asked me if I needed anything. I asked for a new intestine. Then I took it back and asked for a time machine. If you insist on keeping the name Ginos, can you please - for the love of God - 1. Invest in some decent mozzarella and ricotta 2. For my grandma, remove cannolli from your menu or go down the block to Agrigentos in Island Park. The cannolli there is divine and they ship out to all over the island and the city. 3. And I also really enjoyed the buffalo chicken pie. Everything about the pie was good. Crust, sauce, cheese, you name it. The cheese pizza is definitely a treat and it's conveniently located right near the beach and the LIRR station. Despite my increasing disdain for Long Beach, specifically, and Long Island, in general, I have been going to Gino's for years -- and the pizza is absolutely legit. Whether take-out or dine-in, the grub never disappoints. In fact, the sit-down restaurant side of this place features delicious Italian staples that are well worth your time and money. The more casual sit-for-a-few-minutes-then-break-out side of the joint is usually not overly crowded, unless it's just before the LIRR train across the street is due to depart, or a train just arrived. Also, I'm glad they figured out a fixed price list -- because the buffalo chicken pizza (which is crazy good), used to cost whatever the guy who rang you up said it cost. Now, things are much more standard. If you find yourself milling around LB and aren't looking to throw another Five Guys' burger down your gullet, grab a slice or two at Gino's. read more

Undisputed best pizza in Long Beach. Quality is consistent and I'm always benchmarking other pizza I eat to its quality. Don't really dine there outside of their slices but I've had really good plates in the past. Some notable items: buffalo chicken slice, grandma, and they have a few 'secret menu' items (see picture below) that's not-so secret anymore. I really miss the pepperoni pinwheel, that was a hit. Basically all the other pizza in LB is hit or miss over the years and Ginos hasn't strayed. Good spot to hit if you're in a pinch and want a quick bite in the middle of town. read more

When well tipped (in advance) driver arrived way early, driver was advised with supporting documentation of the wrong delivery time. Driver then asked exasperated, "well what do you want me to do." We have been ordering from this place for years. We get the same order every time. Today when we tried to order blue cheese with our salad. we were told we can not have blue cheese dressing for a salad only for a buffalo chicken slice. We offer to pay extra for the blue cheese and they refused to give it to us even when offering to pay. We told him to check out order history clearly showing we get it all the time. We have never had this happen with all the years of ordering there. Gino's is close to our home but unfortunately we are not going to eat there anymore. They only issue my husband and I have is the food, especially the red sauce is overly salted. we like salt in our food and expect take out or eat in to be saltier than at home but their sauce is cloyingly salty. Going to Gino's in Long Beach for pizza slices and Italian ices has long been a family tradition. There's nothing like a Gino's visit after an afternoon at the beach. We order at the counter and within minutes we have our slices and are on our way to seat ourselves in the large room in the back. The pizza is awesome and has been for years. They were delivered by 5:45 which was awesome (and so insanely, unbelievably fast!!), but we had to reheat them for our guests because it was too early! Since Gino passed away, the pizza has gone down hill and the prices have gone up. Sad sad sad, another great business being ruined by the inheriting family. There's a lot to love about Gino's. I have been coming here for the last five years on my way to the beach. The food is excellent, prices are reasonable, and customer service is friendly and efficient. I love their gelato and ices, which is always welcome on a hot smoldering summer day. But what I really love about this place is that they let you use their bathroom even if you are not a customer so it's a good tip if you don't want to pee in the public beach bathrooms.(great venue to change into your bathing suit). Ok, let me start off by saying the food was good it was the deception I'm not ok with. We went there last night for pizza after the beach, had 7 kids (showered and changed, no bathing suits) and 3 adults (also showered) we walked in and the first person we saw was the host. We told her we had 10ppl, she asked us to hold on (very nicely) and came back and sat us on the "restaurant" side (I'll get back to that in a second). We had 2 regular round pies, shrimp oreganata & chix Cesar salad with a few sodas. The bill came and was $132 w/o tip. We split and went on our way. When we got home we thought something seemed wrong. Here's the deception - they charged extra to sit on the restaurant side. Instead of $18 for a reg pie they charged 24 ea. At no time did the host or the waitress give and options. To sit on the pizzeria side where the food is less expensive. I only found this out today when I asked to speak with a manager who explained that to me. I told the manager I wasn't given any choice. He said well we charge more on that side. I said I wasn't told that, is there anything you can do. He told me "no" they have charge more to bring it to your table. I told him We've eaten there in the past, which made us feel worse we were taken advantage multiple times. Needles to say there are hundreds of other places to eat in Long Beach that will treat there customers better read more
