Half Grandma's and Half G :)
Lauren S.

So, I have been dying to try Gino's of Long Beach for FOREVER. (Yay for Instagram, right?!) And I have to take a second here to GUSH about their quality. We shared a square pie that was half Grandma's and half vodka/fresh mozz/ pepperoni/hot honey with dollops of ricotta. (This is called 'The G' and it comes highly recommended, which totally makes sense.) The pizza was deliciously authentic down to the seasoning, depth of flavor, and high caliber ingredients! The slices certainly 'hit the spot,' and I cannot wait to go back for more.

Various kinds of pizza all delicious! Highly recommended

Consistently great pizza. Numerous choices. Dine in or takeout and highly recommended.

Full price, half a pie.

We used to order from Gino's all the time. Their food is tasty, however their service is abysmal. When we paid almost $30 for this "full" pie we called to make sure we didn't get a half pie by accident. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and laughed, acknowledging the numerous amount of complaints over the small portion sizes of the pies recently. She transferred us to the manager who was rude and could care less. As repeat customers, we will never go back to Gino's. Francesco's pizza in LB has way better service and portion sizes. Never going back to Gino's.

Caesar Salad

Solid pizza spot. Had the special pizza pie and a caesar salad. Hubs also had a chicken roll. Food was ready when we got there and still piping hot when we got home. So. Many. Toppings. So. Much. Cheese. I can't complain. Very good.

Chicken rolls are really average if not subpar. The coffee is amazing but the pizza is also average. Waste of money

I stopped by Francesco's on the way home after an event to take some pizza home for guest. Stepping…read moreinto the pizza shop, I saw how clean it was. There must be a table attendant doing rounds every so often. The dining room is pretty big and very attractive. I interacted with the guys making the pizza, they were a bunch of jokers who knew how to make their customers laugh and enjoy the moment. Engaging with one person, I was able to share my experience of Barrier Brewery, and he shared his as well. upon leaving one of the workers acquiesced with my decision to have a slice, split in half. That gesture was very kind. I had my fill with pizza for the night, so I did eat the slice that was split into 2 pieces` in order to provide a precise review. That ZA was delicious with a mild marinara sauce everyone enjoyed. I can eat this ZA without it affecting me and this was not a thin crust; it was a regular crust. Honestly speaking, this was an 'mmm' slice. When you bite into it, you go mm because it's that good. I would love to come back but by the time I get home, it would be cold unless I invested in a pizza warmer bag. This was a good night,... Inspire more, Yelp more

Our waitress made us feel completely comfortable we were laughing, having side conversations, and genuinely enjoying ourselves all night. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The second lot leads closer to the waterfront entrance and can feel a little tight and snug when parking. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely go back. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service.

Compared to the farmingdale location the ambiance of this one is giving forgotten step sister aside from the back table(pictured on the website)they did up very nicely. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very sweet and managed a basically full bar attending to every guest with care. We ordered the Italian nachos which we loved and the Picasso. The nachos had a generous amount of crumbled sausage cheese and bruschetta as well as some spicy peppers. We really enjoyed the nachos. The Picasso was a nice size, but the sandwich lacked a little seasoning and needed a little more balsamic. It felt kind of dry. For cocktails we got the strawberry lemon drop, it tasted a little medicinal and the cucumber lime spritz type drink(I can't recall the exact name). This one was very good. An overall very mixed experience but I want to give it another shot even if only for the nachos
