Angelina's is one of my family's FAVORITE places to eat. Staff is ALWAYS nice and accommodating! I asked for a dish that is no longer listed on the menu (linguine puttanesca MY FAVORITE) and they didn't hesitate to make it for me anyway. Delicious gluten free pizza and pasta. My only comment is that if someone orders all gluten free items, it should be understood that there should be no gluten bread included. Yes you could type no bread in the comments but who does that just in case there's bread. Maybe make it an option in the online ordering system so gluten free customers don't have to deal with the bread they weren't expecting. read more

The party I had on 7/31 went great! Enrique and Carlos worked like a well oiled machine! The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was top notch and the atmosphere was perfect. From planning to execution there was not a single complaint. Everyone that attended has raved about the event. A pizzeria/Italian restaurant that is consistently good. I love their pesto and the Caesar salad. The decor is very traditional with a checkered tablecloth motif. Recently I placed an order for pick up. When I got it home one of the items was missing. I called and arranged for it to be delivered. That process was pleasant and professional. When the order arrived there was an extra slice added with a handwritten note saying " sorry , enjoy one on us". Now that is customer service, folks ! Highly recommend! read more

I've been here twice so far and looking forward to coming back since it's a quick drive from Queens. Both times I've dined here we got the calamari. It's honestly the best I've had recently. We generally order 2 kinds (one drenched in marinara and one with sauce on the side : (either spicy marinara or a vodka sauce). I think the perfect lunch here is a big plate of calamari and their Caesar salad. Their dressing is house made and it's perfection. They also have a full menu with pasta (great options) and plenty of pizza options. My husband tried a grandma slice and he definitely liked it. I ended up getting a linguini entree the first time I dined here and it was quite delicious. Service was fine, it's definitely a very busy spot to eat during the weekend. As for the seating, they have plenty of room for large groups, those looking to have a drink at the bar, or someone coming in to grab a slice. Definitely a place with lots of options. He's super rude and he act like he's the owner of the restaurant! I was in the mood for some good ol Italian food so I couldn't wait to try this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. I sat at the bar and Christine served me and was nice. I ordered: - red wine - Shrimp portobello - Rigatoni Bolognese - Baked cheese ravioli - Chocolate Mousse The food was really good. Angelinas is serving up some of the best family style Italian dishes that I have had in a while. The inside is SO cute. The mural on the wall is so beautiful. I also love the table cloths. The staff was so nice. It's a really hard choice between my favorites. I was SO excited to come to try the gnocchi and it exceeded every expectation... I took my 89 year old mom who is semi disabled and uses a walker and my sister to treat them to pizza because that's what my mom wanted and the front tables were full, only the tables with high chairs were available, when we asked if we could sit where the dinner tables were at because there was only one couple in the whole area and so many empty tables, they said we couldn't sit there. My mom can't sit in high chairs. They watched us walk out and had no compassion, courtesy or empathy to see us seniors with a mother who needs a walker to make an exception for her. I will never go back there again. Terrible!!! I felt so bad, awful to go to a restaurant and be treated with such discourtesy and lack of compassion for older people. read more

Went here for a slice with my girlfriend and her sister and mom , who is older and uses a walker. As we entered we noticed most of the tables in front were already filled with students from the local school, so we ask the guy behind the counter if we could sit at the tables in the back since there were many empty tables. He said "No you can't eat slices at the table" what? Really? Isn't this a pizza place? Not like there was a line waiting for the tables- there was no one. Good business practice. Not! I went to dinner with friends this evening to Angelina's and everything was fabulous! From the salad ( try the goat cheese salad),soup, and entrees ( I skipped dessert) everything was seasoned to perfection. The sole Francese was excellent as was the chicken Sorrentino,all made possible because of our fabulous server Enrique. He was polite,courteous and incredibly efficient at his job especially when it came to navigating the menu according to our likes and dislikes. I had an amazing experience here. One of the workers was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly from the moment I walked in. You can tell he really cares about the customers and the quality of the food. The pizza was absolutely delicious -- easily some of the best I've ever had. Absolute Gem of a restaurant! My son wanted Italian for his birthday dinner and we decided to give Angelina's a shot- and boy are we glad we did! The restaurant is nicely decorated for the holidays- very clean and nicely kept. There's a pizzeria in the front as well as full bar. The staff is so pleasant especially our busboy Carlos- such a polite and nice guy! We also had a chance to chat with the owner she was super sweet too! Food- we started with baked clams and the crispy calamari salad- this was my favorite! For entrees we ordered penne with butter, grilled chicken and fries, chicken brushetta - came with a pasta dish- I ordered the penne with pesto, and linguini with white clam sauce. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious- the portions are plentiful - we had enough to take home. We ended our meal with a cannoli that had a candle to sing happy birthday to my son! Truly cannot say enough good things about this place- even the bread basket was delicious ! Recently ordered several half trays for a home luncheon following a funeral. The food was delivered and set up on time, and our delivery driver was very kind and efficient. The pasta with sauce, chicken parm, chicken francese, and eggplant rollatini were still warm and delicious. The Ceasar salad was fresh and crisp. Even for half trays, they were packed! There was so much food! Oh, and the garlic bread was terrific! The prices were very, very reasonable for what we received. Overall, if you have a catering need for your home, visit Angelina's. Not sure how the pizza tastes, because we had the restaurant area. It is way too bright in there, and NOT a private room, as it appears on their website. It is open to the pizza section and public. The waiter wasn't friendly and he rushed us. The "runner" did everything, so he deserved the tip instead. ( but not too high because he kind of wasn't friendly) However the Salmon was great and the dishes are great proportions. read more

Happened to be in the Lynbrook area this afternoon for a movie , we wanted to grab a bite before the movie and originally planned on going to prime down the road but they were closed and I'm happy they were because I wouldn't have stumbled on this gem ! We sat in the back in a booth, super spacious and not those tight uncomfortable booths some places have. Our waitress was Ashley and she was really sweet and accommodating . We ordered : vodka slice , grandma slice, chicken parm and rigatoni Florentine. Everything was good but my absolute fave was the rigatoni Florentine and the Caesar salad . I was with a big group of my friends and we walked in and said the truth which was our parents made reservations and they said they would not accommodate us in the back and told us to sit in the front and buy their pizza. We then said okay and tried to sit in the front and basically they didn't have enough room and told us to deal with it. We then went to the pizzeria across the street and we reccomend. I have developed a gluten issue in the past year and last night we stopped by Angelina's. The gluten free personal pizza was excellent. I added mushrooms which enhanced the flavor. Our server who was a young lady was great. She was friendly and attentive. The place was packed and she was busy but she stopped by often to make sure we were taken care of. We have been here a few times but this time left a great impression. The place was clean and the service excellent. Stop by it has a great menu and good variety of wine. read more

An update since my last review. Angelinas has now been in the hands of the new owners for almost two years and every change has been positive.Food items are the same yet the place is cleaner and run better than it was. When they took this over they knew they had a good thing going and when you have a good thing going you leave it alone and they have done that.Sadly some original regulars have not returned and that is their loss.
