The food was delicious. The customer service was friendly and efficient. The establishment is quaint and cute. They have outdoor seating which was awesome. Their bathrooms were clean.

First time visiting the Bodega area. After seeing their menu online I was interested in stopping by to check it out. The staff was friendly and the food was ready in a timely manner. I enjoyed their smoked beef brisket Moo sandwich and their clam & scallop chowder. I do recommend this little spot for a quick lunch and a nice view of the bay. They offer indoor and outdoor seating.

I've been wanting to check out this cafe for a while now and today was the day. I liked that we could order at the window. This is not a vegetarian friendly place- nachos seem to be the only option. The prices are fair and the portions generous. It was a gorgeous day so we took in the sun and dined on their patio with a view. My son had the brisket sandwich- plenty of meat on it and he said it was tasty. I had the fish tacos- they were full with a lot of fish although the fish was a bit dry. I ordered a mimosa and let me tell you it could have been shared with two other people. I do not day drink much so ended up asking my son to drive us home. I'd like to return and try their breakfast menu sometime.

Another amazing experience at this gem that is 'Smokin on the Coast' - wonderful views of the bay, friendly and wonderful people who are passionate about their food, and AMAZING FOOD!

Great friendly spot to enjoy some delicious chowder and barbecue. Lots of parking and plenty of seating with tons of options to enjoy the beautiful view. Friendly staff feel like you're right at home with great recommendations of their yummy menu. The clam chowder is full of clams and scallops great flavor just the right creaminess

The server was friendly. She was cheerful. I got the breakfast sandwich. It had egg, bacon and cheese. It was very filling and tasty. My friend had the clam chowder. She said it was delish and very creamy We sat outside. It was a beautiful day.

Came to bodega bay and camped overnight and then went clamming at low tide. We were hungry after an early morning and needed to grab a quick bite as we made our way back to South Bay to process all the clams we got. You order at the counter and then wait for the food to come out. They have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Brisket breakfast burrito 5/5 - the star of the show. Not only is the burrito gigantic, the brisket is actually really tender as well. I don't think the burritos here get enough love but I would highly recommend it but make sure to come hungry!! Monkey bread - 4/5 - really large piece of monkey break for $8 and they heat it up for you which is nice. It includes some bits of bacon to give a sweet and salty bite Definitely want to come back again next time I'm in bodega bay for a breakfast burrito!!

Small shack like location with around only 3 tables but great for take out! Closes a bit early so good for lunch or a late lunch/early dinner. Ordered the crab sandwich 5/5 crispy butter bread, delicious crab salad and perfectly paired cheese. Husband got the piggy (bbq pork) sandwich and gave it a 5/5 for taste but it is a wet sandwich so his bun was a little soggy by the time we got it home.

Well, I must say, Ginocchio's kitchen has a great great location! My wife and I went in on a Saturday afternoon about an hour before closing. We were greeted right away and we placed our order. My wife ordered the crab sandwich which was quite expensive at $28 and I ordered the fish tacos. We initially went for the clam chowder, but decided to order something different. The crab sandwich was very good, but could've been better if the bread wasn't toasted so much on the outside. The fish tacos were a bit dry but had plenty of fish. I'm always in search for fish tacos as good as the ones at Zazzle's in Petaluma! Unfortunately, they closed a while back and I haven't found fish tacos as good since! I think we will come back and try the breakfast next time.

We came here after whale watching and it was a recommendation from our captain. The brisket nachos were the recommendation so naturally we did not order It's a cute restaurant located at the base of the fishing port. Lots of parking and outdoor restrooms. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but if sit near the window it's the perfect sun spot if there's any humans/cats. They have local beer and they're known for their bacon monkey bread. Still haven't tried that either. The winning ticket here is the clam and scallop chowder. I would consider myself a self appropriated clam chowder connoisseur and this is the BEST chowder I've ever had in my life. They also have a wicked crab sandwich that is nestled between two buttery pieces of toast. The owner is amazing. So kind and she has the best recommendations. They smoke their brisket for 14+ hours.

Clam chowder, so thick and yummy Had it in a Bread Bowl as well, $3.50 extra

What is the crab mixed with for the crab sandwich? Can you get it not mixed with anything? Thank you!

Hi! It has a small amount mayonnaise, lemon and green onion to hold it together in the sandwich. Sorry we do not serve it alone. It is local Dungeness Crab!

It's an unassuming, un-aesthetic sandwich but just simply real crab with light mayo and celery dressing. Only regret not getting 2 bc I'd have to brave the line again. Seemed to only have 1 person taking orders and also distributing orders so things were slow. Chowder was also my favorite one from this trip and my kids loved their chili (they sell bread loaves on the side if you need a dipper). Pro tip: not much parking, prepare for side of road and walk. Outdoor seating available but tables are pretty cramped.

It took them almost 15 minutes to serve the first customer in line and the food looks pre-made (chowder and sandwich meat). I ordered the crab sandwiches and white clam chowder. Nothing special about their famous chowder. The crab sandwich is basically a hotdog bun with salty crab meat. The line is long and the wait times are slow because of the workers. Prices are high, $22 per sandwich and $10 for a cup of chowder. I'm still giving them 2 stars overall because I like the view of bodega bay from here. I will not be coming back.

I thought it was going to be a cliche cheesy over-the-top tourist restaurant, but it was the complete opposite. Does it get busy and filled with tourists, yes, but the decor is pleasant, the wait staff attentive, and the food and drinks were on point! We were both in that state where you're not super hungry but you should probably eat something. We got well made/ balanced cocktails, shrimp cocktail with what I believe were fried crackers, (their cocktail sauce is the real deal with real horseradish in it, this is the way cocktail sauce should be, other restaurants take notes). We also got raw oysters (glad to see they had a seperate menu for them listing species, size, etc), their namesake Oyster Rockerfeller (a bit of a let down unfortunately), my girl got the crab gazpacho (very tomato forward with big bits of real crab) and I got the Cajun Blackened Shrimp & Grits (Big Bay/ southern flavors in this, huge shrimp and creamy comforting grits). The irony is not lost on me, we ordered a lot of food for not being super hungry but it was well worth it! While there are many seafood restaurants in/ around Bodega Bay, this one is not to be missed!

Humble from the outside and cozy/ intimate once inside, it was easily the best meal of our vacation and one we'll both remember! I learned they're a small family-owned restaurant, obtained 1 Michelin star but didn't want to continue pursuing that path. Still a phenomenal dining experience with everything from ambiance to service to food being what you would expect from a restaurant of this level! The cocktails were good, the wine was fantastic (2024 Old Vine Zinfandel from a maker in Sonoma called Once & Future), and the food was superb (my girl got the duck breast in an Asian inspired suace with cabbage and other veggies, I got Wagyu strip steak with a bordelaise sauce, mashed potatoes and brocollini). For dessert I got the strawberry Pana cotta (Pana cotta topped with a strawberry jam and bits of fresh strawberry) which was a great way to end the meal without being cloying sweet but the jam was a a little too soupy for my liking, I would have preferred a strawberry compote or simply macerated strawberries on top. My girl got the passion fruit cheesecake which was very good and I'm someone who doesn't usually like cheesecake! Overall a top notch dining experience! I highly recommend if you're looking for an upscale and more formal/ intimate dinner.
