Between the phenomenal liquor selection, full pharmacy services, and the hidden Fountain lunch counter in the back, it is the ultimate one stop shop. This is my absolute go to liquor store in Maryland. It is a true bourbon destination that has rightfully been featured on several bourbon YouTube channels. They are known for their excellent selection of whiskey, consistently landing rare allocations while maintaining some of the best pricing in the area. I make it a point to stop by every single week because their inventory is always changing and you never know what you might find on the shelves. They also run a very generous rewards program. It allows you to bank your points over time so you can eventually use them to purchase high end, rare bottles at MSRP dealer prices, which is a massive perk for enthusiasts. Outside of the liquor store portion, the rest of the business is great too. The pharmacy side is fully stocked with unique Maryland specific items, and they have a highly capable, helpful staff behind the pharmacy counter. As I have written in my review of their hidden speakeasy style lunch counter in the back, The Fountain, it is an absolute gem for lunch, a bourbon bar, and an ice cream destination. If you want to experience a truly unique and perfect one stop shop, this place is it.

We came for the liquor store, but stayed for lunch at their soda fountain/lunch counter in the back of the store. They have a good selection of whiskey with very good prices. There was minimal price markup between Drug City and if we were to buy direct from a NYC distillery we really like. I really enjoyed my chicken dumpling daily soup special at the soda fountain, but the star of the show was my chocolate peanut butter milkshake. The food in there is simple lunch fare but you cannot beat the prices. they have a long list of seasonings you can add to your potato chips that I want to come back and try more of. Note that purchases from anywhere in the store (not just the liquor section) count towards their rewards program.

The most friendliest store!…read more The customer service boys are the best here. Especially this is a shout out to Dave for this outstanding patience with customers like me. I went here to click photo for my passport that had very specific requirements. Dave went through the specs that I had taken with me printed and clicked the photo a couple times to make sure that they meet the specs. Though the photo that he clicked was exactly what I needed, unfortunately, their printer wasn't up to the mark. While we didn't take the printed photos, he let us take photos in the store with my phone camera (I have a passport booth app on my phone). He also suggested that I could print out photos from my phone at Target. I was able to get my photo printed at Target and send the photos to the embassy. Without Rite Aid I don't know what I would have done in such a short time as I had to submit the photos the very next day. Moreover my earlier photos were rejected and I didn't want them to be rejected this time. I have to say that the guys at this store are extremely nice. They are the best in the entire neighborhood.

This store is "nice enough" ... but as per usual, it was understaffed this eve. Case in point, was…read morewaiting on a check-out queue stretching down the aisle at rush hour (5:20 pm) & there's 1 woman working a single register. It was a seamless process. The CVS closest to me used to give vaccines, but, according to the Doc, they no longer do which was why I had to come to this store. When I arrived I was surprised by the Minute Clinic space. It's set up similar to the waiting area in a doctors office. It was clean, bright, and welcoming. There was one other woman waiting and we both assumed the doctor was with somebody. I waited approximately 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time when she came out with her previous appointment. The woman ahead of me just needed to have her TB test read so she was in & out. Once in the office, everything was explained. The prices for the vaccines were posted on the cabinet. You can schedule regular vaccines (like the flu & COVID), which is what I received. But it is also a Travel Clinic for vaccines needed to travel abroad such as yellow fever, typhoid, etc. I had planned to get a few vaccines, but once I saw the prices..... OUCH! I opted to visit my local VA Hospital where I was able to get them there. She was efficient and my visit wasn't long. Everything she needed was in that space. I was however, surprised that most of the store items were locked behind glass/plexiglass. It was my first time seeing this in a CVS. My only guess is that they've experienced a lot of shoplifting, even though this area didn't seem to fit that description (in my opinion, but I don't live here). I'm down with the Minute Clinic. I'd use it again.

Go somewhere else. Anywhere else!…read more You have to have an endless interaction with a sloppy touchscreen. I didn't see anyone navigate it successfully without help from someone behind the counter. What kind of healthcare facility makes you touch a filthy touchscreen over and over again? Not only does it take a ridiculous amount of information to find your prescription but then you have to answer a bunch of other questions about your health and immunizations. I'm never going back again!!!
