She becomes confrontational because of a price misunderstanding
    Charmayne J.

Yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of not only the rudest customer service I have ever had, but the manager not only continued to have a verbal exchange with my colleague; she also followed us out the store to continue to argue as I attempted to leave to diffuse the situation. As a Human Resources Manager, I know that safety is what comes first, so not only did she violate policy and procedure, she also created a hostile environment that could have put her and other employees in danger. I went to CVS after having dinner down the street. I went for the sole purpose of buying the travel size Vaseline. I looked at the price, which was $3.49. However I say another price in red that said something like $1.88. Since I am not from Maryland, I am accustomed to seeing two prices for an item, which would be the regular and sale price. So as I ring up the item at the register it comes up as $3.49 even after I put in my care card phone number. I then inform the security guard who is talking to my colleague that the price is wrong and he brings over another cashier who begins to head to the back to verify the price. I mention the red tag, and the manager, decides to reply to my comment saying that is the unit price, and there is a area marked you pay. I told her I'd did not see that, and that I'm used to the other price being the sake price. She then walks behind the register after repeating twice there is a sign that says you pay. I said okay and proceeded to purchase the item saying to Telvin the security guard, who is still standing there that I have no issue with purchasing the item, but the attitude is not necessary. The manager looks at me and states she does not have an attitude. I replied with I was not talking to you. She begins to reiterate how she doesn't have an attitude. My colleague who watches the entire exchange tells her that she did have an attitude was rude and gave me nothing but a nasty disposition. The manager says okay and what. At this point I set the Vaseline down and grab my colleagues by the arm to take her outside as her dnd the manager are now in a full argument exchange. As I do this the manager comes from behind the register and follows us outside. Once outside I asked her why did she follow us. She stated because she can and what are we going to do about it. It is at this time that I begin to record her on video and let her know that it was ignorant to have followed us when we had already left the store. Even after I started recording she still tried to take this stance as if she was right. Shawdae an associate stood in the doorway watching as I recorded and Telvin came outside. The manager finally went back inside, and I received apologies from Telvin and Shawdae who not only witnessed the outrageous behavior of the manager, but agreed she was out of line. There is nothing worse than trying to make a customer feel as if they were wrong for a misunderstanding and inciting a situation with a verbal exchange that could have lead to additional harm for those under her supervision. If you review the surveillance footage, the proof is there to verify everything I have written. I have friends who work in retail, and I have been the HR manager over my organization's retail division. I know that everything the manager did was in violation of policy. This is not a good representation of the CVS brand, and I expect to get a reasonable follow up regarding this matter. I will also be sending a letter to the store manager, general manager, and the COO along with the video.

This is my new CVS. since moving to Baltimore. They are very nice, and efficient. My wife has me on her insurance plan, but that does not start until October 1st. I had several Rxs that needed to be filled out of pocket, and that was my first time in this store. I love the fact it is right across from the harbor and lots of cool places to eat, shop, and generally explore.

The bad I had to buy to carry my purchases because this location was 100% out of plastic bags. Seriously????

Trash service, so rude. The pharmacy puts you on hold for 15-20 minutes. Won't fill out of state scripts and have Bs Rules.

Not sure how this place has no reviews and the CVS has 3+ stars…read more.. New in town and get most of my prescriptions by mail. Except when I needed antibiotics for a respiratory infection. This store was closed on New Years Day (fair enough) so I had to use CVS. When I needed another round of antibiotics a week later, I made sure my doctor sent the script here. The medicine was ready when I arrived about an hour later. There was no line and they had two ladies at the registers. They were friendly and efficient but didn't try to waste my time - exactly what you want when you are sick and exhausted! They even saved me money on a prescription toothpaste that I'd been buying from my dentist for years ($12 vs $5).

I have had the worst experience with this pharmacy since I started getting my prescriptions there…read moreover the last year. It's been by necessity since Teeter won't take my insurance, and CVS left the neighborhood. The staff is rude, and I've had issues with one of my prescriptions multiple times over the last few months. Although the pharmacist has been nicer about trying to help me, it's only after I call that I even know there's an issue. Several times, they haven't bothered to call me to tell me that they were having problems getting my prescription. I had to go there after the horrible storm we had a few months ago, and now I need to go out of my way to pick up my prescription today b/c it took them so long to get it, and they won't deliver it today. I need it today, so delivery tomorrow does me no good. While I like to support a local small pharmacy, I strongly recommend that you DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I've been called customer care to try to cancel the order, while doing so, I received a notice that my order was ready for pick up. I immediately walked to the location, before I arrived I saw two people walk out of the store. I then tried to enter the store. With no luck because the store was still closed. I stood there and knocked and knocked and knocked mind you it is 90° outside and I'm in a uniform the security guard inside kept ignoring me as well as the employees that walked back-and-forth. I knocked on the door that is one one employee looked at me with irritation through his hands up and said the store is closed, what do you want? I said I'm here to pick up my order and I got a notification. What do I do? I think it's important to note that I was standing outside of a locked glass door then there was a foyer and then they were behind the additional sliding glass doors talking to me the manager that walked up and they asked me what my last name was I yelled at three times through all of the glass doors and she said that she would cancel it, but that it would take some time. I think it's important to know that the boy who stopped had the scanner in his hand and was walking with the shopping cart as if he was going to fulfill orders.

I went to this pharmacy to continue a post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) treatment after already receiving my first dose at the same location, and the pharmacist on duty refused to administer the follow-up. They provided no clear explanation and did not offer any referral or guidance on where I could complete what is a time-sensitive vaccine. When I tried to call the pharmacy afterward to get clarification and simply ask for the pharmacist's name, the pharmacy staff cursed me out and hung up the phone--after I simply asked for a name. This happened multiple times, making it impossible to resolve the situation directly or even identify who I had interacted with. This goes well beyond terrible customer service, it involved interrupting necessary medical care and then avoiding accountability. I strongly recommend going elsewhere, especially if you need reliable, professional handling of prescriptions or treatments.
