The place has two seating arrangements in the periphery and one big community table in the middle that could fit maybe 10 or more. There's also bar style sitting overlooking the pizza makers. Overall, the place is small, but just enough. Take out folks come in to the cashier as well. Getting your pizza will take a while though. This is not your neighborhood pizzeria where you get a premade pizza and slap some toppings and 5 minutes later you got your pie. No folks, this is order pizza and wait about 20+ minutes for my pizza to arrive. I'm sure the take out folks may have something to do with it too. We will definitely be back to try the other creations.

I really enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients and simplicity of good ingredients with good equipment and technique. Nothing was being hidden, instead every component was highlighted. The dough was crispy and just taken from the oven, and the boar was juicy and made the pizza incredibly savory. I would really recommend this place. My friend who's lived in italy approved!

The restaurant is a small establishment with street parking only, but we were able to find a spot without too much trouble. Walking in, the atmosphere was pretty simple and straightforward. There wasn't anything particularly memorable about the décor, and it reminded me of a neighborhood bar from the 1980s. That said, it was clean, comfortable, and felt like a casual local spot. The service was one of the highlights of our visit. Everyone was friendly, our order was taken quickly, and the staff was attentive throughout our meal. We both ordered build-your-own pizzas, and while they were good, the crust wasn't quite what we expected. The sourdough crust was actually the thinnest pizza crust I've ever had and didn't have the fermented sourdough flavor or texture I've experienced elsewhere. I was also a little disappointed that there wasn't a vegan cheese option, especially considering the extensive menu and variety of toppings available. That said, the pizzas were enjoyable, but both of us tend to prefer a slightly thicker crust. If you're a fan of ultra-thin crust pizza, Dutch Crown will likely be right up your alley. While it wasn't exactly what we were expecting based on the sourdough description, the friendly service and quality ingredients still made for a pleasant dining experience.

It keeps happening to us and we don't know how to fix this other than kindly ask Pippinelli's to stop selling old baked pizza. We only can tell it was old when we get home and start eating it. The venue itself is art deco style, kept immaculately clean (including the restrooms). I had the Grilled Chicken sandwich with avocado and aioli sauce, with Tuscan fries (house cut I'm told) both of which were very good. The wife had the Honey Chicken Ginger Salad and we both agreed that it was excellent. Our server, Jenny, deftly handled the full bar, the bar dining area, and the drink orders for the entire restaurant. There was a dessert special of Italian Lemon Cake offerred, but unfortunately, I couldn't convince my wife to split it. The prices were very reasonable, and the food was very good. We'll definitely come back.

We visited on the Friday before V-day, the house was packed around 18:30. The wait was 45 mins which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. We decided to wait in the lobby after trying to find a cozy waiting spot near the bar and missing. My wife attempted to order me a mocktail, but of course the bar was crazy busy. When the bartender finally acknowledged her, the mocktail requests obviously threw the bartender for a loop because I ended up with watered down ginger beer and a sprig of mint. My advice for anyone looking for a virgin drink at this bar would be to order a club soda with lime and call it a night. We were seated at the 45 min mark, and were escorted to the packed bar, where they have some exterior tables for diners. My seat was in the middle of the couch split, which I found mighty uncomfortable so we opted to request a seat in the main dining room, which the staff happily obliged. With dinner we ordered hot tea and were given lukewarm water and a choice of Stash teas. Our beverage experience here was very disappointing. The calamari arrived and may have been the only highlight, although we didn't find it to have that fresh calamari texture. My wife ordered a ravioli with mushroom, and felt the pasta and veggies were just swimming in butter. I ordered my steak medium and it was okay, but the juices from the greens made the croquettes soggy, and unenjoyable. The server did his best, and all the staff here are so kind. Coulda been an off night but I doubt we'll be back anytime soon. The Mocktail Madam.
