Wow...We got to go and totally forgot to take pictures of the food. But trust me, it was good! The eggplant fries are filling and have a nice Ceasar-like dipping sauce. We also got the crispy Ceasar wrap and the Spicy P. Both were good but not great. I think because it was a busy Saturday, the Spicy P roll was not as fresh as it should be. The service was great, even for a take away. Ambiance 10/10 Value 9/10 Food 8.5/10 Bathrooms 10/10 Cleanliness 10/10 Service 9.5/10 Will I Return? Yes

The Antonia

Walked in during a weekday during lunch time and the line to order and get my food went quickly. The restaurant has a lot of natural light and tables to sit and enjoy your food. I ordered the Antonia and I was a bit disappointed as it did not have a lot of turkey or cheese, and was mostly bread. The bread was a bit hard and the sandwich had a bit of spice, which I did enjoy, but was a bit disappointed overall after spending $20 for one sandwich

I ordered the Lilly sandwich came with scrambled eggs prosciutto arugula I asked for no parm on a ciabatta roll. I loved the texture of the ciabatta and ingredients were really fresh. I could have used maybe some sort of hot sauce on the sandwich but I enjoyed it, service was great.

The cheesesteak and Joes Classic Lemonade

Im not a big chicken fan, this but if you are this place is definitely for your bc it has plenty of chicken options, I went for the Cheesesteak. They do not skimp on the meat. It was well put together, the sesame bread makes it all come together nicely. You cant have a sandwich without a good lemonade their brand is very tasty not too sweet, just the way I like it. Very cute place, giving old school bronx vibes. I have nothing but good things to say about the service. Special thanks to the staff who gave me a complimentary chocolate chip cookie. It was warm and soft, they have other dessert options I look forward to trying soon! Parking is a little tricky but worth the search!

Delicious Lager to have with a Deli sandwich.

Their sandwiches are quite tasty and inventive. I used to go to Santa Monica for the "madrina". But, living near Silverlake, needed a closer sandwich spot. They deliver.

Ggiata is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Great selection in sandwiches and desserts. My fave so far are the draper, the chicken parm, the rainbow cookie and their limoncello olive oil cake. When the first opened they had passion fruit tres leches cake I haven't seen again but it was delightful. Service is always nice even when crazy busy, and ambiance is great! Once they see you're done and they're not that busy they come to your table; and offer to take your trash, or ask you if you need a to go box. The place can get packed during lunch hours and street parking can be tricky this side of town, but there's a paid lot crossing Sunset Blvd on Logan St and meter spots. Clean restroom. I'll keep coming back!

Viral for the Chicken Caesar Wrap, I've had this restaurant bookmarked for over a year. I believe this is a newer location. Parking: Street parking with meter payment. Restaurant: Located on the corner. Cozy diner atmosphere but also very small. There was about 6 tables inside, a couple outside, and 5-6 countertop seating. Service: Quick. Order is placed with the cashier and number is given. Came specifically for the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap ($16.00) so that is all I ordered. The wrap itself was stacked. Good quality tortilla and it was nicely toasted. The Caesar dressing was so flavorful. They tossed the salad with dressing but it also came with an additional side. The wrap also stayed well in place while eating. I've had salad wraps that have completely fallen apart after the view few bites. I would definitely order this again. Everything else on the menu looked delicious. Would love to come back here to try the Asian Chicken Salad wrap.

I got there pretty early on a Saturday, before 10am, and it wasn't busy yet, so I got my pick of seating, which is comfy and quaint. I went for The Jaffe, which is their homemade tuna salad sandwich. The tuna salad was quite good, but I wish the bagel had been more toasted, giving it a crispier finish instead of being chewy. Also ordered a cup of coffee, and they keep it simple there with just drip. It was a decent brew but they didn't fill it up all the way probably assuming I wanted to add milk. I wasn't completely wowed by the experience like I'd hoped, but I'd definitely give it another try.

Chipotle breakfast burrito

I ordered the chipotle breakfast burrito and so did my best friend. I enjoyed the chipotle burrito and I love how packed the burrito was. Beautifully wrapped and the cilantro sauce was delicious a unique flavor. My best friend in the other hand stated that it needed more spice. The service was good, the young lady in the front smiled. The ambiance well that is where I felt a little out of place because I am born and raised Echo Park and I felt like I was an outsider in my own neighborhood not because of the establishment but the customers they have. Overall I will come back to try other food items and their coffee choices but I may make a phone order next time around. I do want to purchase a shirt you are selling.

Friendly staff! Quick service! Spicy chicken parm 10/10! Sat outside but there's seating inside as well! The pastry's were calling my name! I might have to come back for the olive oil cake!

The Turk
Gearmo C.

Was delighted to see the infamous Ggiata Deli open up in Echo Park! The new location is gorgeously decorated and situated perfectly. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I loved feeling the sense of community surrounding this new opening. The Turk sandwich was good, definitely missing some acidity to balance the rich turkey and dressing, but the bread was delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh. I was asked by a server if I wanted any sauces and I obliged. Unfortunately, I never received my buffalo sauce during the 15-20 minutes I dined in, which was disappointing as this may have helped combat that richness in the sandwich. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Buffalo chicken wrap, Cesar salad wrap
Janet M.

The buffalo chicken wrap was pretty good, the only thing I would've liked more was if it could've been more saucy like had more buffalo ranch in the wrap, only the chicken was semi what coded in buffalo. The service could have been a lil better, the guy in the register didn't smile or say hi or ask what we would like...he just stood there and waited for us to say what we want. The place is a good size seating inside and a few tables outside, was clean place.

Lettuce core

Please ggiata I beg of you. Cut your lettuce better. I cannot be chomping into these thick bitter stalks. I don't know if it's just location or what but I don't remember pulling so many of these out at once. Caesar wraps should be lettuce leaves not these.

Parking is validated a block away, but you can find street parking too. The walk was very easy. I doubt the place has had a makeover in decades, which is awesome! (Google "Langer's Deli parking lot" and map it there.) Mind you, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy, so parking in the lot that has an attendant felt like a safer choice. We waited in line outside while our 4th was still on their way, which really wasn't much of a line at all. People/full groups that came after us were seated promptly. While we waited, there was air conditioning and they offered us mini water bottles! Already making it such a pleasant visit before even walking into the restaurant! Once we were seated, our server was happy to give us recommendations as well as tell us about their most popular menu item, #19. We asked about other options on the menu and he was honest that he wouldn't feel right if he let us order the less popular choices, which we greatly appreciated! I don't feel like I need to review this place because what everyone else is saying is true! As for me, I'm not huge fan of coleslaw but the texture against the soft warm rye bread and tender pastrami was delicious! As a pickle lover, the pickle was crisp! There's nothing bad to say about this place. Customer service was exceptional, parking was easy, food was delicious. The only "bad" things about this place are the prices and how extensive the menu is, but no real reasons to not be back!

All of the veggies and meat were very fresh, and the experience was cool over all. You grab a ticket at the counter, wait for them to call your number, then you order and step back while they make yours and a handful of others at the same time.
