This place is awesome but be prepared to wait during brunch hours. Food is fantastic but did learn a lesson not to wait in any of the establishments nearby. (This means don't go inside next door). We lost our place in line but they found us a spot fairly quickly once we were placed back on the list. Again food was AMAZING. Drinks were FANTASTIC and service was great once seated. The drink menu looks like they have creative drinks. I didn't try any because I had coffee. The menu had a ton of line items that include tater tots. For a restaurant that is primarily based on breakfast, it would be nice to have another option. My meal was not bad but very average. read more

Wish I could rewind this morning and re-do my order. Instead of two orders of Tots, just one is enough and I'd stick with the Buffalo Tots. My husband added chicken, which hit the spot with creamy blue cheese and crunchy bits of celery. The tater tots were perfectly crispy and the whole dish was flavorful and balanced. Our other tots were topped with bacon, scrambled eggs, and avocado. They were tasty but dry. In hindsight, I should've moved the eggs to the side and asked for ranch to drizzle over the rest. It clearly says "Shareables" on the menu, but to be clear, there's enough to share with 4 people. We came home with two full boxes of leftover tots. The Grilled Fruit & Brie Toast needed more honey but was still tasty. I loved the combo of basil, blueberries, brie, and pears. The music was too loud for my taste. Felt like we were the parents crashing a kids' party lol. Next time I'd rather sit outside when it's cooler. Maybe I'd enjoy this place more on a Sunday, when I can order a mimosa, relax, and not worry about work. (Still have to work today, so no mimosa for me). This a super cute place in downtown Riverbank. I enjoy getting out of Modesto, so this is a perfect little drive. Great avocado toast! Just went back last Saturday and enjoyed the scrambled eggs over tots. However, that barely looked like 2 eggs on top:( and honestly, I love tots.. but these were a tad greasy for me and tots to eggs/veggie ratio was not as I would've liked. I loooved that they subbed avocado for the bacon .. just thought there would be a tad more. The service is always great here. And I love sitting outside. My friend enjoyed her champagne and lox. Although she thought it was light on the salmon. I know it's popular for nightclubs with limited bathrooms for guests not to put a mirror in there... but this is just silly for a breakfast/lunch cafe. I don't want to look for food in my teeth in front of people.. nor put on lips. :( please add a mirror inside. :) Definitely will be back! That was my 3rd visit. read more

Came here for the first time with a friend recently. I had high expectations from the reviews so I was super excited to try it. I will say the mimosa flights are not worth it. Very basic and small for $15. I would try a specialty drink next time to see how good those are. The bruschetta toast was good but I would have enjoyed it more if it all had been baked as bruschetta is supposed to be done. Tomatoes were freshly cut and although it was good it was way better when I had the leftovers at home. The star of the show was definitely the Get Roasted sandwich! The mix of cream cheese, berry spread, jalapeños, and added bacon that I requested was BOMB. That plate was definitely what made me want to come back and try it more sandwiches. Service was great. The waitress was super kind and helpful when our table was wobbly. And the atmosphere was fun and upbeat. A cute brunch spot for sure. read more

Get Toasted is a cute little brunch spot located in downtown Riverbank on Santa Fe St. I met a girlfriend here for some mimosas and small bites . My friend made a reservation for noon for 6 people. We had our 4 teens with us . I made the mistake of taking my kids here . They were not happy. Menu is very limited. And the only item that looked good to my daughter, the risotto balls, they were out of . I ordered a mimosa flight . 2 out of the 3 I ordered was not very good. It was way too sweet. We ordered some appetizers, deviled eggs & loaded tots. The tater tots were good as were the deviled eggs . I really wish they had the arancini , as I was looking forward to trying them . I wouldn't mind going back but next time I would definitely leave the kids at home. This is a great spot to meet a girlfriend & have some drinks. I wish Get Toasted would add more menu items. We sat at the bar area and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The workers were super helpful and the most friendly folks I've met. I got the churro waffle, sweet potato fries, and a mimosa fight. Just so you have an idea, they have the popular-crazed "OG Avocado" toast, a "BBQ Chicken" toast, or maybe something sweet like their "Gimme Sa'More"! What I like about their selection is the choices you have whether you want something fresh, savory, or sweet. Not only with toast, they also have salads, sandwiches, and little appetizers to share! I ordered The Brie ($14) with an upgrade of Buffalo tots. The sandwich itself was okay with a nice sweet flavor from the fruit, but lacking prosciutto. It was lacking a balance from the salt and sweetness of its components. I also ordered a mimosa flight ($15). With three flavors to choose from their list I got the Guava Lime, Pineapple Sunrise, and Blue Raspberry. I really love how each of their mimosas have a unique look and taste to them! Bravo! My party also ordered a Coffee Flight ($11.50). I would say this was a complete miss in execution. Although the aesthetics and presentation were great, it was truly lacking in coffee flavor and got watered down from all the ice. My suggestion would be less ice if possible. Overall, the service was great and our order came out fast! It wasn't entirely busy, but we made a reservation ahead of time to secure a table. During the time I was craving the Breakfast sandwich, Gimme S'more, and Tots. My girlfriend ordered the BBQ Chicken and iced coffee w/ oat milk and caramel. Everything about the breakfast sandwich tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients with nothing frozen. The tater tots were perfectly crisp and complemented the dipping sauces. Was only able to take a bite out of the BBQ Chicken, but also seems like a great entrée you can't go wrong with. The Gimme S'more was presented beautifully, but unfortunately didn't feel like my money was well spent. It essentially was nutella and marshmallows slightly melted on toast. The iced coffee was about as average as coffee can get, but still good nonetheless. The service was also really friendly and catered to whatever we needed. If I lived closer to Riverbank I would definitely be visiting much more frequently for brunch. Would 100% recommend going out of your way just to give it a try! read more

I've been here now several times for little group celebrations. There is something on the menu for everyone even amongst the picky eaters. We've had fun trying out the mimosa flights, especially love the fruity ones. The only ones we didn't care for were the caramel ones. The loaded cheesy tots are the bomb! A great appetizer for the whole table to share while you're waiting to order your main dish. It's a small dining room, so you might want to call ahead to make a reservations. In the summer we have been seated out on the patio which is nice. The service has been fine when we have visited. Definitely a go to spots since it's close to home. Pros: 1) The waitress was very nice and attentive. 2) restaurant was very clean. 3) everyone nicely distanced. 4) food delicious. This is a great brunch spot. Good seating indoors and out. My only complaint is the metal chairs are very uncomfortable. They are made for tiny people and if you aren't that you'll be hurting. Some of the mimosas were a hit/miss... I got the mango chmouy expecting the chmouy to be dripping down the glass but it's mixed with the drink... tahin on the rim might made the drink a bit better. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable when we had questions. My mom tried their Topped Tots, which was a nice plate to share with your party. My dad and I tried their breakfast sandwich, and honestly, it was so fresh and harty! 10/10 would recommend for a filling meal here. I also tried their Strawberry Mint Refresher mimosa.
