We got our frontyard and backyard redone with Gerardo and his team and they did an excellent job with it. We had to make several adjustments to the design and even had to add more work and Gerardo was able to adjust and get the work done. Our backyard was not easy as we had to install a brand new french drain and retaining wall and had to even redo the entire deck. Our backyard was sloping and unusable and now its a haven and we are able to thoroughly enjoy the space. Even our dog loves it!!! I got too old to mow my postage stamp size lawn in front of my San Francisco home so I had a gardening service do so biweekly. While I had no issues with the mowing service, I finally gave up dealing with gophers messing up the lawn and having to look at the less than green grass. After much internet research, I decided to install artificial turf to eliminate both i Gerardo was the only installer who was willing to meet with me as my front lawn was too small for others to bother with...other than giving me an online estimate. Gerardo Mariona did a great job fixing our side gate and post that blew down in a recent storm. The post snapped off at the base and needed to be replaced completely. Gerardo answered my call a free days ago and quickly arrived to provide the best quote for the repair job. He and his associate were able to come back today and remove the old post base, pour a new concrete base, install the new post, install new hinges on the gate and haul away the old post. Gerardo and his team was amazing. After posting a request of retaining wall installation project on yelp, I interviewed a few of responders and found Gerardo was the most honest and knowledgeable landscaper among them. I hired hime once he gave me the quote which was also very reasonable. Once starting the project, Gerardo planned well (for example, he would drop off his tools one day before, to make sure next day's work being smooth and efficient), and work hard (some days he and his team stayed until 7pm to fit dirt remover's schedule). He is also a good communicator. He would make sure we are satisfied with his work. Once he finished retaining wall, we hired him right away for more projects, to install french drain around house, backyard and drive way concrete reinstallation. They are big projects but Gerardo managed well, made all processes smooth even during this raining season. Now his work is still going on, but I can't wait to give a big thumb up on Yelp.
