After two of our friends getting their turf done with Turf World we already knew we would have a great experience. Jason came over and brought over lots of samples. He was very welcoming, did not pressure us and was honest when I asked his recommendations for our backyard vision. His team gave us the most reasonable bid and got it all done in one day! Now my family can enjoy our backyard! Highly recommend this company. read more

I got 13 samples of artificial turf and interviewed 7 companies for my tiny yard in SF. I'm Type A and have been screwed over by many contractors, what can I say, I'm gunshy. What won me over with Turf World was: 1. Jason's transparency about the process with sending me his You Tube videos (the job went exactly as promised); 2. The turf itself was the best (was the closest replica to grass, the Catalina Pro was not the softest turf I sampled but was the sturdiest and prettiest and stood up the best like grass, and even my 6 year old daughter saw that it was the most realistic looking of 13 samples); 3) his communication, always prompt and complete, and 4) his price was the best. After researching this for 2 months, I went with Turf World and I am thrilled with the result. My advice? Go around and look at installations. Watch videos. I did and after a ton of consideration I went with Turf Word and I am a 100% happy and satisfied customer, And I'm not an easy target. PS remember as you are comparing the turf samples that soft turf flops easier. So it might feel nice, but when it falls flat and looks like a mini golf course after a month you are not going to be happy If you are wanting it to look like an actual lawn, like I did!) read more

We had an amazing experience with Turf World from start to finish! The entire installation process was professional, efficient, and exceeded our expectations. The crew showed up on time, worked hard, paid attention to every detail, and left everything looking clean and beautiful when they were finished. The quality of the turf and installation is fantastic, and the difference it made to our yard is incredible. It looks so natural and completely transformed the space. Communication throughout the process was great, and everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. If you're considering artificial turf, I highly recommend Turf World. Great customer service, beautiful work, and a team that truly cares about the finished product. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! read more

Update: After posting this review, I received a demand letter from Turf World's ATTORNEY disputing my account and requesting that I remove my review. The facts remain the same: I accepted Turf World's quote on July 14, 2026. After receiving no communication regarding next steps, I called Jason twice on July 15, 2026, to request an update. During that conversation, I was told Turf World would be at my property the following week and that I would receive a call or text with scheduling details. I never received that follow-up communication. I'm unclear how I could be considered in breach when I accepted the quote, proactively followed up, was told I would receive scheduling details, and then received no communication for weeks. A customer should not be expected to wait indefinitely without any update from a contractor. Turf World's response states that they "thought that we would get to you this week still being within the legal 20 day timeline" and that they "never received a cancellation of our agreement written or verbal." For clarity: I did not cancel the agreement in writing or verbally. I was waiting for the follow-up communication I was promised regarding scheduling. At no point did Turf World contact me to provide a schedule, confirm a start date, communicate a delay, or discuss any issue preventing the project from moving forward. The issue was never that I expected immediate installation or to be prioritized over other customers. The issue was the lack of communication after I accepted the quote and followed up myself. I have records showing my calls to Turf World and the absence of any subsequent calls, texts, or emails from the company regarding the status of my project. I find it concerning that a customer sharing a factual account of their experience resulted in a legal demand to remove a review. My review was intended to document my experience with this company so other customers can make informed decisions. read more

Started review initially December 13, 2025: If I could give more more than 5 stars I would! The work Jason and his team did on my yard blew whatever expectations I had out of the water! I initially reached out to get a price quote on my backyard after we removed all of our trees. I am trying to turn my back yard into a space I want to be comfortable in (like most everyone else.) Jason initially reached out to us and offered to come take a look at our yard the very next day. He arrived promptly and was so personable and offered his expert opinion and recommendations. My main concern was having turf that looked like grass to me but would also maintain well against my pets and he delivered and helped us pick the grass that would best fit our needs. I also loved that he made design recommendations that would work well for our yard. His team did a fantastic job even went above and beyond to fix a broken latch on our gate. I was not expecting that. My husband can't stop going into our backyard because he enjoys it so much. March 08, 2026: Turns out I never posted my initial review and wanted to continue the conversation now a few months later. The yard is absolutely FANTASTIC! The grass looks beautiful and Jasons team did end up coming out in January to put up plants and decorative rocks. Everything is beautiful! Honestly I wake up early just so I can sit outside and eat my breakfast in my yard and my husband has to ask me to come back in. My husband and I have already decided that when we are ready to do our front yard we will be reaching out back to Jason. 100% would recommend this company. read more

Great experience and can't recommend enough. Kevin and Jason communicated well. I am very happy with the new yard.

I have a relatively small size front lawn (about 280 sq ft) which I wanted to replace with artificial turf. Turf World's representative came to my house with a good collection of samples for us to look at and feel the texture of the turf. Once I accepted the proposal, they came out the next week to do the installation. What impressed me was that they came with two trucks loaded with equipment and a crew of 6 people. They got the job done in half a day. Very nice clean job with reasonable pricing, read more

I had been planning to get turf for a while and created a project in yelp to get quotes. I got 4 quotes total and Turf World was the best fit for our budget. We wanted a low cost but good installation for our dogs who would be constantly on it. They came out the next day to provide a quote. They were the only team to give a quote on the spot and correctly measure our yard. They also were the only team that wouldn't charge us extra for our weird shape/unused turf. There was an option for gopher wire, we declined but nice to know it was an option. All quotes were in the range of $12-$18 per sq ft. I signed the quote easily through their tracking system and communicated with Jason via yelp messenger. One week later, they came out and did the install from 8am-2pm and as promised, they cleaned everything and even fixed some wire plant fencing the dogs messed up. They had asked me about water lines but I wasn't sure and they ended up accidentally punching a nail into one. They very quickly patched it up and continued on. That is totally my bad for not knowing, they informed me immediately, and they were very professional about the mishap. Payment was easy through their payment portal and a text came with the link to pay just as the team finished their work. We are so happy with the finished product and couldn't be happier with the quality of the team. The efficiency was unreal. We thought this would be a much longer project but 1 week later, here we are! Bonus: some things we learned about turf - turf comes in 15ft wide rolls which determines if you'll have seams - most installers are using the same turf and they all cost the same price - larger installer companies will charge you more because they outsource to smaller and medium sized companies like Turf World so you might as well go right to the source. - whoever you get to install can recommend the best type of turf for your use case (ours was need for lasting turf for dogs) - there are layers to turf, not just the grass on top so the cost includes gravel, sand, siding, staples, weed tarp, hauling away dirt, etc. you can't just roll out turf you buy yourself and have the same result. - the reason for the layers is partly because of drainage, you don't want soggy turf! If you look at the underside of the turf, you can see the drainage holes and depending on what you want, you may want a turf with more drainage holes. read more

It's surprisingly difficult to get a turf company to call me back for a small repair that I needed done after a fence post replacement. Finally after calling several, Jason at Turf World worked with me to get Kevin out this morning to do the repair. Took about an hour, Kevin was nothing but professional. Highly recommended if you need any artificial turf work done in the Bay Area. Thanks! read more

Looking at the results, I should have done this 10 years ago. The turf they use is highest quality, it doesn't look fake, it feels better than real grass. The result is amazing. Jeremy make himself available within the same day, He brings a collections of grass with him, and measures. I like the way he explained what will be done, step by steps, what material will be used. All the safety measures that will make it last for a long time. Turf holds a 15-25 year warranty and turf installation holds a 10 year craftsmanship warranty. And It was done within a day. The morning briefing to confirm what will be done, what style preferred around the tree, natural or manicured. The line is discussed to eliminate errors or miscommunication. Everything was clear and checked. The professionalism is shown, they use heavy machinery even for a tiny yard. They do not skim on materials and it's nicely landscaped looking Luscious and inviting. Having this quality with the price they are offering is feels like a good deal. While other vendor charge 12-20ish (some not include the turf), Turf World priced at 12$ /sqft includes the turf of any choice from their collection, and other materials until it's done. A very good deal even homedepot can't beat. I would recommend to anyone and everyone who wants a beautiful yard. Talk to the owner, Jason. He deserves all the praises, the success behind this company. read more

Jason and his team were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They are responsible, knowledgeable, efficient and easy to work with! Jason even came out to meet with me again after our initial estimate to answer my follow up questions and give advice. Jason listened carefully to our goals for our back yard, was patient and never rushed us. They installed turf, DG, and concrete for our back yard and front yard. He brought a big team to the job and got the project done in 3 days, and we absolutely love our new backyard. It is beautiful and each detail was well thought out and created. I can't speak more highly of him, he has a true passion for what he does. His team was very attentive, made adjustments during install so that our backyard ended up perfect! Good response time back and answer right that's my question.Did very good job in stalling my turt .Worker we're friendly and professional.

Turf World recently completed an install of artificial turf in our backyard, and they were fantastic. From first contact, Jason responded right away and was able to get me scheduled not too far out, working within my time constraints. Someone came out, worked with us on logistics, turf styles, and pricing options - very knowledgeable and fair. For the install, the crew is great, very polite, considerate, and clean. They do great work and made a huge improvement to our backyard. These guys are above and beyond other turf installers I have worked with, and would highly recommend them. read more

Had agreed to work together and then stopped responding. His team was supposed to start this coming week. It all happened when he said they wanted more money to remove the shed. I pushed back and asked them to reconsider. I even followed up one more time and again no response. My guess is they typically raise the price after agreeing to something throughout a project. So beware! read more

I reached out to Jason to repair artificial turf that had been imprecisely cut by another contractor. Jason came out quickly to provide me with a reasonable quote for the repair. We will not recommend this company as they were a No Show for our ~ $4000 + backyard turf project and the owner did not even know about his crew not showing up. We found them unreliable, unprofessional and not trustworthy. However, we did like Kevin who came for the initial consultation, showed us turf samples and took time to answer our questions. But after we accepted the quote and scheduled the installation, despite the text reminders we got about the installation date and email confirmation from this company, nobody showed up the morning of installation!! We had re- arranged our work schedules and other projects for that day to be at home and to prepare our backyard for installation. The contact information of the crew was never communicated to us. We kept waiting for 40 minutes past their scheduled arrival time of 8 am and finally when we called them, Jason, the owner was surprised and said the 'crew should have showed up at 8 am ' and that he will check with them. Then gets back saying that the ' crew did not get the memo about the project today ' and if we can re- schedule it to tomorrow. No apologies, no "sorry for the inconvenience caused" . Definitely poor management, internal communication/ coordination and no follow up. A 'no show' for a scheduled installation, definitely makes them not trustworthy. read more

I'm so happy we hired Jason and his team. After 20+ years of mowing, watering (and drought concerns), re-sodding, reseeding, adding dirt, fertilizer, edging, blowing, etc., I was tired of it! I have good landscaping people and thought about using them for our little project, which was to replace our patch of lawn with turf. That would have meant needing to research the best way to do everything, research the best materials, sourcing them, overseeing everything, etc. Right when I met Jason it was clear he knows his stuff and has a ton of experience. He brought samples, listened to my concerns about environmental issues with some turf, wanting turf that looks more real, and needing turf our dog and his playmates could have fun on. He explained their installation process and then gave me a fair price. He also was quick and responsive to all my communications. Two days after starting our project was done, Jason (and his precious daughter and fun guys who helped him) were a great presence, and it looks great. All these positive reviews are no coincidence. It's easy to recommend Jason. read more

I reached out to Turf World to see if they could help get the dog urine smell out of my little patch of turf. They asked the size, gave me an estimate and then were available the next day. They came by and brushed up all the grass, added anti-pet odor sand, and hosed the whole thing down with enzyme spray (it turns out the one I had been using was a watered down knock off). Now it smells great in my little yard. All in all it was like $500 for their time and the materials, which looks a little pricey, but they came right the next day, fixed the whole issue, and now I know how to take better care of the turf in the meantime. I think it was a good price for their time, expertise, work, and equipment. I'll definitely ask Turf World again if I need any more turf related help. read more

Jason and his team did an amazing job on this project. He spent the time and effort to explain the different types of turf that I liked and how the project would be completed. They couldn't have made it easier. Went above & beyond and even finished ahead of schedule. Really glad they did our backyard.

Can't say enough about how happy we are with Jason and co's work. We started our project by grabbing quotes from Turf World + a few other competitors. It was clear from the start that Jason had the most in-depth knowledge and experience from the group that we selected. He also was an absolute joy to chat with and made awesome recommendations for how to think about different turf types for the front vs. backyard. He also was able to advise on where to obtain pavers at a good price. Would choose Turf World again in the future! read more

I don't post much but when I find something out there thats deserving of a review I'll do it. While getting samples from a synthetic grass distributor that's close by, I asked the front desk person if they could recommend a local contractor that was experienced with fair pricing; I got 3 business cards, ones was Jason. I left a voice message for him, scheduled some other ones to come by later that week since they couldn't come in until then. Then Jason gave me a call back and came through the same day. After meeting Jason in person, talking about the way he goes about operating his business, recycling dirt/concrete, etc I was immediately sold, although there was no pressure at all. I even met his daughter, who he brought along and I could tell he's a loving father. I immediately cancelled all my other appointments because I knew Turf World was the one I was going to go with. The project has been completed and my family is really excited to have a backyard again. If you're reading this. there's no reason to waste your time getting quotes from other companies.
