I highly recommend Pedro and his team! I received many quotes to fix a falling fence, but went with Life Garden because he was responsive, quoted a fair price, and understood exactly what needed to get done. Additionally, due to schedules, I booked him for the project about 2 months after we'd first met. I was a little worried that with so much time in between, he might forget or have a conflict, but there was no problem. Arrived on time, did great work, and me and my neighbor couldn't be happier. read more

final result attractive, but needed constant corrections to meet contract specs. I'd never use them again.

Pedro and his team did an incredible job transforming our backyard from an overgrown mess to a gorgeous oasis. We are so impressed and so so grateful! He is honest and his pricing is extremely fair! Highly recommend! read more

Pedro and his crew did a great job on my driveway. Their price was very reasonable. They were very efficient and kept the job tidy which I appreciated. Do not trust this company to do your garden. They are greedy. Made an appointment to get an estimate and Pedro came by and gave me a price of $600 for the front and backyard. Surprisingly, just a small 2 bush trim was an extra $50 more. I gave it a couple of days to think it over, then I text back to arrange a schedule and specifically mentioned what we discussed when Pedro visited. No response, until I asked one last time. And then he texted to charge me $1350! I was shocked. I said I couldn't accept, and all he text back was a winky smiley emoji. I cannot trust Pedro will do a good job because of this. This is poor business communication and a lack of marketing of this company. Very unprofessional. Message to all customers: There are a lot of other choices out there. And believe me, I did my research and they too stopped by - all offering around the same if not better priced, and are licensed. See my screenshot attached on the text as described in this review. Good Luck. read more

Life Garden - Completely unprofessional. I am serious about who I work with. And it starts from having a communication. - Landscaping Near Me

They removed weeds from our backyard and left flowers. Fair price, good communication. We spoke about possible future yard improvements.

Pedro and his team were fantastic. The re-did my front and backyard and completely transformed it in just six days. They're reliable, hard-working, flexible, and worked incredibly fast. I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend! read more

I contacted Pedro to do some concrete work and to remove some dirt and debris. They were affordable, quick and the quality of the work was excellent. The results were better than I could have expected. Even before the work started Pedro offered suggestions that not only made sense but also saved money. Easy to work with and they left everything spotless. They even trimmed some of my trees in my backyard that wasn't even part of the scope of work. Thank you Pedro for a great job!!! read more

Pedro Hernandez and his team did a phenomenal job on our front and back yards. Pedro was responsive, thorough in his communication, provided very quick services, fixed problems that were not of his own making that he found in the garden, and gave great advice on materials and tree selection and placement. He and his team cleaned up every day and were reliable. They completed the entire project in four days. I recommend Pedro and his team without hesitation. read more

Long overdue praise for Life Garden with Pedro and his team. My neighbors and us shared a side yard which we had been contemplating on what to do with it since it had been overgrown with weeds. We pulled some ideas together from the internet and finally at the start of the year doing something about it. We contacted Pedro for a quote and as busy as he was, he still managed to squeeze us in. Initially, we thought this would be too small of a project compared to some of the photos we saw on Yelp. He came to measure and we gave him an inspiration pic and about a week later we got back a very reasonable quote. We weren't in a hurry so he scheduled us close to a month out from the time he came by to look at our space. What we had done: 1. Remove the overgrown weeds and old mulch 2. Level the soil 3. New french drain along the side 4. New horizontal fences 5. New weed barriers, rocks, and concrete pavers Here's a kicker, everything was all done in 3 days! These guys worked hard and oh man the workmanship and quality is impeccable. They were responsive to our calls and text for changes. We had one big change during the project as all projects usually have at NO fault of Pedro's team, and they were so agreeable and even said "no problem that's my job". Wow we are so impressed and hope you will be too when you hire them for your next landscaping project. Thank you Pedro! read more

Here to give Pedro and his guys a long overdue 5 star rating. They are incredibly hard working and get everything done very fast. The work they did was a complete backyard remodel that wasn't by any means easy. Regardless, it was finished it in record time- a little under a month. The work is solid and we are very happy with our backyard. We can actually use it now! Thanks Pedro and team! You can be sure we'll call you back for our landscaping needs for the rest of our home. read more

Initial response was quick then no follow up. I had to follow up a couple times. Pedro quoted me one price. He told me the work was done when it was not fully completed as we had agreed. When I asked, he said it would cost additional $$ to complete since he forgot to include in original quote. This would have had a total cost more than other quotes I received. And he told me he ran out of time and never offered to come back to complete the work. The work was decent, but it doesn't seem to be fully honest to me, and therefore I would not recommend. The other 5 star ratings here got me fooled so hopefully this review can help others. read more

Pedro and his crew at Life Garden were fantastic. They gave us a fast, reasonable estimate and stuck to it. We asked them to do several tasks around our home and they did all of them expertly: tree and shrub removal, junk hauling, light landscaping. The team was fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves perfectly when the job was otherwise done. Life Garden takes electronic payments (Venmo, Zelle) and delivered a thorough receipt. Most importantly, Pedro was a good listener when we described what we wanted done. He fulfilled everything we discussed about a complex job perfectly. We cannot recommend him highly enough and will be employing him whenever we have yard or landscaping work in the future. read more

Our long term gardener retired so I turned to YELP to help me find a new service. After trying a different service, we called Life Garden and now we're sold! The team headed by Mr. Hernandez came today and completely refreshed the yard front and back. I could not be happier with the results. They replanted where necessary and trimmed and cared for remaining plants, cleaned the yard completely and recovered the ground cover all in a single day. I let the team determine the plants and they're all lovely as well as drought tolerant. We will be using them for monthly maintenance and future projects. Prices are very reasonable and I'm just thrilled with the results. I can't wait for visitors - because of course we're always in the yard now. Highly recommend this company. read more

Pedro and team did a great job pruning and trimming our tall pittisporum hedges, and then removing all the debris. Easy scheduling and payment. Would recommend! read more

Pedro and his team are fantastic! We had them do our backyard remodel after getting a few other quotes and I'm so glad we went with them. Reasonably priced, fast paced (finished our backyard in a week and a half), quality work, and are a really nice team of guys. We even added onto the project after it started and they had no qualms about it. I gave Pedro a somewhat poor example photo of a planter box-bench combo and told him how I'd ideally want it and his team custom created exactly what I wanted with few questions. I highly recommend this crew to anyone!! read more

Pedro and his team transformed an empty sloped lot into a beautiful landscaped Side lot. He excavated, removed debris and old concrete, leveled and laid new paving stones and built a redwood retaining wall, installed flashing at the side of the building and planted drought resistant plants and a beautiful colored rock cover. He and his team are professional, on time, organized and skilled. You can give Pedro your vision in broad terms and he will deliver. I will call on him for any landscaping/ tree service and patio/decking. Great quality! read more

Pedro and his crew did an excellent job removing our 55 feet (or more) palm tree. Since we were on vacation, we schedule the removal of the tree a good six weeks in advance. They showed up on the day we scheduled and almost finished the job in a day with the final removal of the stump completed in a few hours the following morning. Great price as well. Left the area clean. I highly recommend them, at least for tree removals. I might have them do additional work in our yard. read more

These guys are the real deal, skilled, well-equipped, hardworking and delightful to work with. They transformed our entire yard, constructing a spacious new Trex deck with new staircase and railing and 2 horizontal cedar fences, along with extensive landscaping and a drip irrigation system in a mere 12 days. They purchased and picked up all materials and hauled away all of the debris. When we asked for additional favors the 3-4 man crew executed them swiftly and without resistance and generously never threatened to raise the price. Although we had a general written agreement at the onset, the specific details weren't entirely spelled out and I wasn't 100% sure what would be included. Pedro and company surpassed every expectation and were committed to delivering a truly finished project. read more

I rarely write reviews but wanted to this time because I was so impressed by Pedro and his team! They were all incredibly professional, kind, and communicative. We recently moved into a new home and the backyard had not been managed in years and was entirely unusable. They turned it into our new favorite part of the house! They supported everything including the old concrete demo, adding a paver patio, putting in mulch barriers, and installing smart irrigation. I'll be recommending them to anyone that asks! Sent out Yelp request for quotes and Life Garden responded immediately. They came out that weekend to check out the work (tree trimming/removal) and provided a quote. After sending out Yelp requests for quotes, Pedro at Life Garden was the only one who responded with an engaging response. It left me the impression that he really wanted to work with us. Pedro pruned the swamp myrtle in our front yard, and our neighbor commented on how that was the best job that had ever been done on that tree. She is an elderly woman who did not like the tree dumping leaves on her yard, so she asked us to cut it back and Pedro left it looking light and airy. The second project was big. It was the removal of my other neighbors' 50 foot plus swamp myrtle tree, which had become an eyesore due to neglect and very poor care. The tree was also dumping a fair amount of leaves in our yard, staining our decks, and obstructing our view of the ocean. The neighbors could not afford to cut down the tree, so I paid for the whole thing to come down. He cut the tree down over two days, left my neighbors house how he found it, and disposed of all refuse. Now we have the Pacific Ocean view back. He's very easy to work with and he and his coworker, Daniel, work really fast with minimal disruption to the surrounding property. Everything looks better! read more

Pedro trimmed a big black acacia tree in our back yard and did a great job! He is friendly, professional, and had good rates. I requested a quote for weeding and moving of a small tree. They did the weeding acceptable job (not excellent) but then told me after the fact that they did not include the tree moving in the quote. I am sure I mentioned it at least three times. Pedro had asked for extra $200 to do it and would come back in two weeks to do it - no thanks! I would not use them again. These 5 star ratings is miss-leading and what lead me to use them in the first place. read more

Pedro came in the next day after I contacted him and was flexible about the schedule. He came in with another person and they did a great job trimming plants, weeding and removing leaves, taking the trash with him. He even checked that the watering system works as it should before they left and blew leaves out of the driveway. In addition the rates were very reasonable and they did the work very quickly. Life Garden did an excellent job for us on a recent landscaping job. They took our backyard jungle/mess and tamed it beautifully. A late request to also add new lawn sod to the front yard was quickly estimated and accepted. Pedro and his team were on time, professional and hard working. Also left the job clean.
