It was a crew of nine. They helped remove a bunch of overgrown ivy and weeds throughout my property and hauled away a bunch of junk (some of which had been sitting around for over 20 years). There's still much to do around my house due to years of deferred maintenance, but the Santos Hauling team provided a jumpstart to refreshing my house. They are extremely responsive, provided quality work, are respectful of property, and their service comes at a very reasonable price.

Our place is high maintenance, trees and bushes in the front, more trees and bushes in the back and shit ton of weeds. We solicited a half dozen quotes from a range of businesses in the 'landscaping' , 'tree trimming', etc. businesses. First pattern noticed is none of the businesses were super responsive. Maybe it was the season, maybe they were so busy, but I found it annoying to call/write two, sometimes thee times to get quotes. Mr. Nguyen is old school. They don't have a fancy website to take quotes. You have to call him. He comes over, and has to write up a quote. Then he goes more old school, and will actually deliver the quote, hand written in an envelope to your mailbox. His quote was very competitive for all the things we were asking them to do...quote to do the work was not the cheapest (which is always scary), and DEF not the most expensive (which was easily a $1k difference). He, and his mighty little crew are amazing. My hubs told me the wife brings a portable grill on the job site and makes hot meals for the crew at lunch. It's so old school and so efficient and we LOVED their work. They ended doing tree trimming for our neighbors to as an add on gig to ours... Shine on you crazy diamond, Mr. Nguyen! Great work!

He took the time to explain that the stone is naturally layered and that some surface flaking over time is normal. After showing me the underlying layer, it was clear the stone itself was solid and that no repair was actually needed. I really appreciated David's honesty and integrity -- it would have been easy to recommend unnecessary work, but instead he explained what was happening and reassured me that the patio is in good shape. We hashed out the details with Nate over email. Our area was 8.5 feet by 21.5 feet and involved digging out the subgrade, setting concrete and rebar, tiles (including a curved path), and gravel. We set the construction date for February 19th which lasted until February 25th. Jesus, the foreman, was great at communicating the steps required for the build. He would often check in to make sure that we got the end product we desired and was receptive to feedback for the design. With their workmanship guarantee, we have nothing to worry about. Great turnaround time!! Price was reasonable and they didn't try to force us to spend more than we needed to. Jesus and his team made sure my husband and I were involved in every step of the process. He explained his concerns and what they were going to do to try to fix it. He even came back after the project was done the next day to make sure it was installed correctly and he checked the drainage multiple times with a hose. It has yet to be battle tested by the weather but I'm happy with how it turned out! We are even considering them for another project.
