After the initial consultation with Luis, Andre provided a detailed quote with breakdown of all the items, labor cost, and materials. Their quote is not the cheapest but definitely the longest. I like how the quote had all the cost breakdown and specifics regarding choice of materials and scope of work. Another thing I wanted to highlight is the fact that Andre was able to propose something creative and different to enhance our existing design, so that we ended up with multi-tier retaining walls and re-using a lot of the existing boulders on the side. Our project involved a lot of demo / excavation on a steep hillside, building a large paved deck with railing + steps up and down. From start from finish, the crew worked every single weekday from 8am sharp to 5pm. There is no playing loud music, no messing around during lunch time, just super organized hard work and impeccable work ethic. Due to the difficulty to access the backyard, everything was done by hand, and the end result came out amazing. To our surprise, the entire project took LESS than two months! What a transformation! The problem was that I had been waiting at the correct location the entire time. Before the appointment, I had both verbally and in writing asked them to make sure they did **not** go to a different address in another town. The receptionist confirmed that the estimator had gone to the wrong address and assured me he would come to the correct one. Unfortunately, after waiting another hour, I never heard from the estimator or the office. My attempts to call the office also went unanswered. At that point, it became clear that no one was coming and no one was going to let me know. Mistakes happen, but what disappointed me most was the lack of communication and professionalism. GCSF wasted more than 90 minutes of my time and couldn't extend the courtesy of a simple phone call or update. Based on this experience, I can't recommend them.

I also had a pretty skimpy budget and needed to comply with the water company's rebate requirements. Tyler created a plan that filled every wish. His finished site plan reflects his extensive plant knowledge and a very fine eye for detail. He is well acquainted with the water rebate program and was able to answer questions thereof. I also used his service to purchase and deliver plants, and have him onsite to place the materials. This service alone is worth every penny; he moved plants and boulders around to the best aesthetic. After everything was complete, he came back for some fine-tuning and recommendations for my gardener. To save money I had my gardener do the installation but really wish I'd had the budget for a more extensive job done by one of Tyler's more experienced contractors. But I'm very happy with the result and recommend Tyler without hesitation. He's also a really nice guy and so easy to work with!

We had fairly simple garden work, no plants needed to be maintained, sometime we even picked the leaves at the side yard to make it easier for them to clean. We wanted to change gardener before but Jose said he wanted to support his family, he would still want to just clean the yard with a lower price, so we still kept him. But later he is too busy for other bigger jobs, and kept missing the scheduled time, can't you just say a time you will actually do the work? Anyway, all the proofs and work log are documented. If he tries to threaten further or do anything terrible because of updated facts , we may escalate the matter to police station and other platforms for customers safety concerns. Terrible!
