I knew that I would get on with Juan the moment he first came round to look at the garden; he surveyed the area and I told him approximately what I wanted. He then came round and we spent a couple of hours making and refining a plan. He then gave me a line by line estimate - from what he thought the plants would cost to what his workers earned. I've never had so much transparency before. Then his workers started ,what a great crew they are very accommodating and what a laugh we had. Juan came by every couple of days to see what had been done although he was in constant contact both with me and with the crew by phone, text and photos. I cannot recommend this company enough - from the transparency, to information and recommendation on the plants. Giant Landscaping FLAKES. I called these guys because of the already stellar yelp reviews and I was scheduled for a prompt consultation for my yard, in which I needed some hardscaping fixed. Juan and crew came out to offer me a rough quote, and said he would send along an estimate. The estimate was never sent. I followed up days later by phone, asking if I would ever get the estimate. I got an email back saying I'd have an estimate that evening. That was a week ago. No estimate, no follow-up. Guess they must be overflowing with business. It's been weeks since Giant came out to my place, and I was really, really looking forward to their services. All I can assume is that I'm not deserving of their services because I have a low-bid (under $1000) project. I have to wonder exactly how much money I'd need to spend to be worth their while. :-( Shame.
