Our first time here and we couldn't be more blessed! Dr.Cate, Lori, Lorena and Jenna have been sweethearts from the start. Dr.Cate even kept my K9 Havoc company during my x-rays from Lori (she did an amazing job!)! We will be coming here as long as we can. They are very respectful, overwhelming polite and just a sweet staff. Thank you Ladies we look forward to seeing you all on our next visit! - Quy read more

Gerald Middleton DDS - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Riverside, California

Office staff is pushy and does not understand different insurances. Rip off artists that will try and bill you for nothing.

I've been going to this practice for many years. Dr. Middleton and Dr. Cates are very thorough and seem to genuinely care for their patients. The hygienist are top notch. In fact, all the staff here is always warm and friendly but more than anything they are on top of my dental care 100%. I love that my crown can be made there while I wait. I also love that they have a network of well respected dental specialists they can send me to for issues outside my dentists expertise. read more

I have gone to Dr. Middleton since for about 20 years. I recently tried going to another dentist in the area where I moved to and was told I had a lot of work that needed to be done. I was very surprised because Dr. Middleton had not mentioned these issues to me the last time I was there. I went back to Dr. Middleton for a second opinion and he disagreed with almost all of the work that I was told needed to be done. It would have been easy to just agree and have me pay the money for the work, but he was honest with me as usual. Thanks, Dr. Middleton and team! read more

Let's just start by saying that I haven't been to the dentist in years until a friend referred me to Dr. Middleton. He was so nice and thorough when I first met him. He made me feel at ease and that was important to me. So he recommended some steps to get me on the right track with my teeth and honestly I didn't want to. I'm afraid of the metal scraping my teeth and my anxiety grew! That's because I had bad memories at the dentist. But let me just say....Rachel and Megan are the BEST dental hygienist ever!!! Rachel greeted me and she knew that I was nervous. She is the sweetest person!!! She was so gentle and made sure I was at ease and comfortable before she started. I didn't tighten up or squeeze the chair like before! I lay there and she talked to me step by step what she was doing and I didn't feel anxious at all. Next thing you know I was done!!! Then today I had another deep cleaning and this time it was Megan!!! She greeted me in the front and took my temperature before walking me to my chair! Before she started she to knew that I was nervous about my treatment today. What impressed me was that she had communicated with Rachel prior and knew ME! I didn't have to tell her about my sensitivity! She just knew! Megan took her time with me and made me feel at ease! The best part was the fact that she took her time to call later in the day to check up on me! What great service!!! I highly recommend this dental office!!! I finally found my dentist place for sure!!! Thank you again to Rachel and Megan for such an amazing service!!!! read more

Dr. Middleton is the best dentist I have ever had. He is caring, conscientious and does everything he can to provide his patients with good oral care and a brilliant smile. The dental hygienists are just as great and do an exceptional job of teeth cleaning. Dr. Middleton has a beautiful state of the art office and a friendly front office staff. If you want the best of the best when it comes to oral hygiene Dr. Middleton is your man. He is such a great dentist that I drive all the way from Long Beach and pass hundreds of dental offices to go to him. If that is not a ringing endorsement I do not know what is! read more

This dental office is very clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly and they have the most high tech equipment I've ever seen.

About 1.5 years ago my husband (who has been going to Dr. Middleton forever) finally convinced me to get my act together and go to the dentist... I figured since my mouth was in a world of pain daily that I was in for a horrible visit. Well I needed a ton of work and Dr. Middleton sat down and developed a plan to fix everything ...including some meds to calm my nerves :-) I won't say now I love going to the dentist...but I am sitting here completely calm and all alone...since I needed a support team for the last bunch of work. I highly recommend Dr. Middleton to anyone looking for a dentist for fearful patients or anyone with teeth. read more

I have not been to the dentist in years but i saw the good review so i figured ill give them a try, i am soo glad that i did, the whole staff is super nice. I did need alot of work done and Dr Middleton set up a action plan to cover everything. I have just started today and since my insurance runs out every july and a new year starts they are working very hard to move mountains to get me in asap so that i can get the most from my insurance. Another big plus is the homemade chocolate chip cookies they have in the wating room and the net flicks that you get to watch while they do the work on you so in my oppinion Dr Middleton is the dentist for me and you should give him a try. read more

Start for Receptionist, this doesn't judge Mr.Middleton. Called to schedule an appointment as a first time patient. As soo i as i said that, the receptionist was rude like if she's never had someone called as a new patient in her life. After her being rude, i asked what the cost was for a first time patient for an exam + x rays like most Dentist have some sort of special to get new customers, and she just said our fee for everyone is $200 for the exam + x-rays. Wow, that's ridiculous! Their prices must be outrageous, won't be going here. Again, the start only reflects on the price, and receptionist. read more

Been going here since I was a kid.... broke most of my back teeth in a bicycle accident when I was little and they still give me no problems. The dental hygenists and the office staf are always friendly. This is going to sound really goofy, but they always have good snacks in the waiting area (they are going to clean your teeth anyway, mine as well get your moneys worth.) The Dentist is a very knowledgeable and funny guy. My wife was very scared of the dentist when she first started coming, but now because of of Dr. Middletons expertise she feels comfortable there. That is a huge compliment to him and his staff. Great dentist and overall good guy! read more

Hands down the best Dentist in the area. Dr. Middleton utilizes the latest technology and methods and makes sure that you are completely taken care of. Might cost a little more than other dentists (and I'm a cash patient!) but in my opinion it's completely worth it for the care and comfortable atmosphere. Never had an issue. Highly recommend Dr. Middleton and his staff. Also 5 stars for Megan who does my cleanings. read more

I don't know where to start....everyone at this office are genuinely good people and take pride in what they do and are as professionals. I have never felt more comfortable at another dentist and I also know I am in good hands. I trust what they do, their work, and what they recommend. I have a lot of problems with my teeth and I am so thankful to have found them. Dr Middleton is one of the kindest, skillful, and knowledgable dentist you can find. His staff are a representation of the kind of dentist he is and they are just as wonderful, caring, and skilled. I don't know what else to say other than I am thankful I found them. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Middleton's for several years now and have always had a positive experience! The office is clean and very presentable with complimentary refreshments and wifi available. Dr. Middleton and his staff are attentive, respectful, and kind, and have always provided me with excellent care. I have never been prescribed unnecessary treatment, and receive reminders for my bi-annual cleanings. My appointments are never rushed, and I'm always given plenty of time to ask any questions I might have. He also has an after hours line for emergencies, which I have (thankfully) only had to use once. Unfortunately for the both of us, I had some pain that escalated so I called him on the Fourth of July. He took my call, was able to reassure me that I was in no immediate danger, and advised a course of action to manage the pain until I was able to come into his office. Long story short, turns out my dental pain was caused by other health issues, and my traitorous tooth was in great condition. I won't be making the mistake of switching dentists again. It's a 30-40 minute drive on a good day, and I have friends who still live in that area, so hopefully my next trip won't be so unexpected! read more

An overall amazing first experience. Warm and welcoming front office staff with a beautiful reception area that offered coffee and juice. Nan explained everything very thoroughly and professionally and left me with no questions unanswered. She even scheduled my appointment with a specialist I was recommended to see at another office. The back office staff was very sweet and friendly as well. Taking a full mouth of X-rays is never fun, but I can actually say it was a pleasant experience. Dr. Middleton was very genuine and caring. I can actually say I found an awesome dentist and office! Yayyy! I definitely recommend this office!!! read more

I would totally recommend Dr. Middleton for anyone who wants their teeth fix and clean. I had a very bad experience with another dentist before to the point I never wanted to go to a dentist again. But Dr. Middleton reassured me that him and his staff will take care of me and my teeth. They were right! Dr Middleton and his staff took care of my filling and cleaned them. whenever I had discomfort they would communicate and have patience with me the whole time to make sure I was ok like they were going with my pace. Totally awesome experience. read more

I have been a patient of Dr Middleton's for nearly a year. His practice is impressive on many levels. I was looking for a dentist with modern equipment. He certainly did not disappoint. My lower teeth were cracked and broken. I have veneers on the upper front and wanted the bottom to look nice as well. The doctor brought in an expert dental technician who made ten crowns while the dr. Prepared my lower teeth. They turned out beautifully and are a perfect match to my top ones. All in one sitting which is what I preferred. I always hated the shot you get to numb your mouth because it was painful and pinching. The Dr. Has a computerized wand like instrument that delivers the anesthetic slowly and with almost no discomfort...actually painlessly. A great improvement over my experiences with other dentists. The staff is wonderful. The office is modern and beautiful. I just had another crown put in yesterday. They have a machine that makes them in the office and then they put it on ...all in one sitting! So if you want to come out of the dark ages like I did, you should make an appointment with Dr. Middleton. You will improve your life! read more

I have been going to Dr. Middleton for almost 20 years and was always very happy with the service and staff.Since the overturn in office staff his office has gone down hill. I called in January to schedule a cleaning. Even after repeatedly asking for a specific person I was booked 5 weeks later. Upon arrival I was booked you guessed it with the wrong girl. Had to reschedule and wait another month. Had a few fillings to get done so I scheduled an appointment. Again almost 5 weeks later. Showed up today and they did not have the necessary supplies to complete my appointment. (Things that I have required for the last 20 years) I was told they were "unaware" and offered an appointment in 6 weeks. Sooo not feeling very confident in their office anymore. And it shouldn't take 5 months to get a cleaning and a few fillings . Beyond disappointed and looking for a new dentist. read more

The doctor Absolutely gets 5 stars. Sorry but the Office staff gets 1 star. Watch your bills closely.

It had been about 2 years that I had gone to the dentist and finally my mom convinced me to go to Dr. Middleton. I am terrified of going to the dentist because I have a very low tolerance for pain. The first visit was a cleaning and X-rays and what not but once I went in for my fillings I was very nervous. I FELT NOTHING! No pain, nothing! And they have a tv(which you can't see because they're digging in your mouth) but they give you headphones to listen and keep you distracted. Overall, every visit I had was beyond smooth and pain-free. I am no longer nervous to go to my dentist as long as it's Dr. Middleton. And to top that off, the staff is all very friendly and make you feel very comfortable! read more

Love this progressive clean relaxing professional dentist office and all the staff!!!

Fantastic! It is rare when both dentist and office staff are both excellent - but this is the case at Dr. Middleton's office. His staff are knowledgeable and courteous and they are very good at putting people at ease who don't like going to the dentist. Dr. Middleton is very knowledgeable and gentle and explains everything so that there are no questions regarding the care being given. He is excellent at dealing with both geriatric and non-geriatric patients and understandings that sometimes things have to be explained more than once and never gets upset when the same question is asked more than once. Absolutely fantastic!! read more

I am very impressed with this dentist office. I haven't had very pleasant experiences with dentist visits in recent years as I felt the work done was medicore, at best. I also felt previous dentist offices (Hospitality Dental) were after the money more than anything else. I don't feel this way about this office. The staff is very friendly. Dr. Middleton is very gentle and informative. It's nice to find a good dentist. Thank you! read more

So I walk into this absolutely GORGEOUS office to the smell of fresh coffee and perfume. I am already hooked. The staff greets me by name and makes me feel welcome and safe. They are so knowledgeable! Did I mention how beautiful the office is?! I meet with Nan, Lorena, and Carla and man did feel like a special patient! Then I meet with Dr. Middleton, he could tell I was nervous, and he made me feel 100% at ease. Susan-the RDA was amazing! And Denise-so great and a WEALTH of dental information..she taught me a great deal in short time! I love this dentist and Dr. Middleton is honest and nice! I will continue to come and would HIGHLY recommend this office to everyone! I can't thank my co-worker enough for the recommendation here. I will never be nervous to go to my appointment again. read more

My childhood memories of visiting the dentist were never happy. But, I'm delighted to say that Dr. Middleton has totally provided a new experience with wonderful treatment. I'm of an age (71) that has provided me with a childhood of poor dental health and a mouthful of old fashioned dental work. I sought out a new dentist when I moved to the area and gratefully was referred to Dr. Middleton by a friend. Together we are now looking at saving my teeth and updating my dental care. I would recommend this dentist and his hygienists to anyone looking for excellent care. I am no longer fearful of seeing my dentist and trust Dr. Middleton's recommendations. read more

I haven't seen a dentist in 3 years. My family is newer to the area and we had not found a dentist, so I put it off. Well, the time had come where I needed to see the dentist. I was very anxious about going to a dentist I knew nothing about. I'm writing this review because the reason I came to see Dr Middleton was because of the reviews on Yelp. I looked over many reviews online and did not find a dentist close enough to home that I would want to play a game of chance with. From my first call to the office, to the followup reminders (mail and phone) from the office and finally to the visit - I am sold! The staff is professional, as well as personable. I felt very comfortable with the dentist, assistants and hygienists. They made me feel so comfortable. The office is super clean and inviting. They have complimentary freshly baked cookies, Keurig coffee, juices, water, etc., I'm glad I took a chance. I'm even looking forward to my next visit! read more
