My 7 year old daughter has been experiencing pain on one of her baby molars that has a large cavity. Her pediatric dentist wanted to do oral sedation on her and didnt have an appointment till October. (2.5 months from initial pain and we all know once a tooth has pain even a couple days is unbearable). I was in desperate search and came across Dr. Kelly Lam who is not a pediatric dentist but she was SO amazing and SO patient. We took my daughter in for initial consultation and Dr. Lam reviewed what needed to be done, the tooth was too bad to save so we needed to extract the tooth. She doesnt do any kind of sedation other than the local numbing like we all get as adults. My daughter felt comfortable with Dr. Lam and agreed to get it done. Day of the visit, my husband and I were more nervous than my daughter! Dr. Lam explained the procedure to my daughter, numbed her up real good (to which my daughter said after "is she going to give me the shot now?" AFTER she already went in with the numbing shot!), and proceeded with the procedure. My daughter came out so proud of herself. I cant recommend Dr. Kelly enough. The fact that we didnt need to drug up my daughter with laughing gas or any kind of sedation says alot because shes usually very nervous. Safe to say we have now found our new dentist for my daughter. :) Thank you SO much to Dr. Kelly and her whole team. Everyone was so sweet! read more

I came in for a teeth cleaning. I was called in promptly and G, the hygienist did a good job, she was gentle and thorough. After that, Dr. Kelly came in and did an examination. She explained how my gums were doing and gave recommendations on the care and health of my teeth. She was friendly and caring; I highly recommend Dr. Kelly and her staff. read more

I called a month prior to make appointment for dental cleaning for me and my toddler together so we can save time. Waited about a month for my appointment then to my surprise they said they won't be cleaning my teeth that day. They said they only do exam on first appointment to see if I need deep cleaning or regular cleaning. When I made appointment no one told me that they won't be cleaning my teeth on first appointment. If I knew they won't be cleaning my teeth same day I would've gone to other dentist. As a toddler mom with no village, no child care I need to save time. I even explained it to them when I called to make appointment. It seems like they didn't have enough dental hygienist that day. I wish I knew ahead of time. And front desk people are not very nice either. They need to improve on customer service. So if you are new patient and wanting to go there for cleaning be warned they will only do exam and you will have to make another appointment for cleaning. To this day I don't have my appointment cause they are so busy. I tried calling today but no answer. If you see this review call me asap. I need my teeth cleaning done asap. read more

I just had my 6 months checkup along with a filling replaced due to wear and tear. I'm so glad I have found Dr. Kelly Lam's office as she has been wonderful in taking her time to fully explain what is going on step by step. Her team was equally great, especially when putting in my new filling. I didn't experience any pain during or after the procedure whereas I had issues at other dental offices. She made sure the new filling was leveled out so that there would be no discomfort from biting down and chewing on the food. My whole family comes here since we moved to Corona six years ago. We loved it, everyone is kind.

I used to come here as a child with my parents and I have recently returned as an adult. The care you get here is excellent! From the front office staffing remembering me to the hygienist recalling I used to come here with my family and of course Dr Lam being the kindest Dentist! You always worry about going to a dentist and them just trying to get money out of you by saying you have a bunch of cavities and it makes you wonder if it's really true. I've never had that experience here. Dr Lam is highly experienced, reliable and trustworthy. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and their oral health. High quality. No frills. No up charging. Just, honest, great care. So I came in here for a 6 month cleaning. I Can be pretty sensitive about taking x rays. They tend to hurt. But these went fine! Some were slightly uncomfortable, but no pain! Dr. Lam was really kind and flexible. She asked pertinent questions regarding my health and allergies, showing that she actually read the questionnaires I filled out. She also did the oral cancer screening, which not all dentists I've visited have done. Now, for the reason I came for: the cleaning. Shayna the hygienist was great. She was thorough with the cleaning. She didn't talk a lot like a lot of hygienists. She just focused on providing a good cleaning. She only used the scaler/scraper thing. She was so patient and never caused me any pain or discomfort the entire time. I hate the high pitched electronic descaler tools I've had used at other dentist offices. They are the part of my appointments I absolutely dread each time. I'm so glad this cleaning didn't include that. I know it tends to be faster, but I feel like previous dentists and hygienists I've visited have been careless using that technology and caused me lots of unnecessary pain and mess. Lastly, I received the cleaning and Flouride mouthwash. The goody bag had a decent sized toothbrush and toothpaste. Other dentists I've gone to have given travel sized toothpaste and this was between that and a full sized one. Perfect for me! To sum up, this place deserves all the great reviews it gets. Full disclosure: I had initially come here because the last dentist I had visited told me they couldn't schedule me for a cleaning within 6 months so I looked to another for the in-between appointments, but I was so impressed that I prefer to stick with this dentist.
