I had decent care here and everyone is kind but I had to get two front teeth crowns just a couple of years ago and mine fell out numerous times. With spending over 1,200 on just one tooth, I think it should last a long longer than it has and not fall out so easily. read more

The Norco office is the worst! Some of thr staff have no etiquette and some dentists need to return to dental school! It's been all of 8 months since I started going there and I've encountered 2 horrific tooth infections which costs me thousands of dollars out of pocket! Paid thousands of dollars out of pocket for crowns that have fallen out numerous times and a dental implant that took 7 months to complete! I've had to miss work on several occasions due to my brand new thousand dollar crowns falling out! I ask for corporate to file a complaint and I'm told there is no corporate. Go figure!! read more

I had the most horrible experience with Smile Select on Hamner. I shopped Dental offices. I found Smile Select be professional and would satisfy my needs. My first issue was waiting time. I explained I was left in the waiting room for 1 1/2 hours at my last dentist. Appointment at 9:00 am and not seen until 10:30 am. This is not acceptable. Smile Select listened and took me in immediately when I had an appointment. Then they gave me my expected pricing for my needs. I have Delta Dental Insurance and they quoted a price with Delta guidelines and prices. Costs for my procedures got to $7000.00. Work started August-Sept of 2020. They got the funds right away and then the nightmare started. I had extraction work done and dentures made. Fitting is an issue. One's gums must heal and adjustments made. Six months into it, my wait time hit one hour on a quick check appointment. I couldn't stay, I had other obligations at the time. I explained that I cannot spend an hour in my vehicle in the parking lot for an hour. They were apologetic and set another appointment. Again I sat in my vehicle in the parking lot for an hour and 15 minutes. Had to go. I expressed my disappointment and rescheduled again. Next appointment, my dentist was no longer there and staff had changed. I needed my denture fitted, it was difficult to eat and speak. The new dentist used a denture reliner kit and told me to keep the substance in my mouth for 24 hours. It was horrible. I had to take it out of my mouth and rinse with baking soda for an hour to get that horrible chemical taste out of my mouth. All the office staff and Dentist had changed. I still had to have my denture properly fitted. I spent $7000.00 and it was horrible. They informed me that I would have to pay again for a proper Fitting denture. I lost it! I raised hell and finally the offices in Chino Hills called me. Now I had to drive 20 miles opposed to 2 miles. They made an impression and I went to a lab in Placentia and they finally refitted my denture. Another issue is they charged a another $85.00 for a cleaning and x-rays. I called Delta Dental and they had no record of Smile Select on my insurance. They completely lied about accepting my insurance. I should not have paid for a cleaning and x-rays. I now am going to try and get my monies back. This place is a Hustler for your money and lie regularly. I would not recommend them at all. If I made typos, I apologize. I'm using my phone. My fear of any man or woman putting a sharp,noise making, hole burrowing drill in my mouth is more real than I can put into words. That, combined with the perpetuating noice of the hydro powered sucking device that I'm sure will hurt me every time it enters my mouth...the extremely cute assistants that my wife would hate have to look in my god awful mouth (and eyes) despite my efforts...yes, I have a fear of dentistry that dates back to 1985. Don't trust this dentist. He told me I had cavities and the front office harassed and called my cell phone many times to try and schedule me to come in and get them filled. I thought I would get a second opinion because I have really healthy teeth and have always been told so by dentists. I went to see another dentist and he told me my teeth were fine and very, very, healthy. You can tell this dentist is more after your money than anything. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because they did my teeth whitening and that was fine. I would just suggest you get a second opinion before getting any work done. read more

I had bought a whitening package from somebody walking to different businesses selling them which was a really good deal but when I went in for the appt., the dr tried to tell me I had 5 cavities and was pushing me to get them fixed at his office, even though they didn't even accept my insurance. I was kind of shocked he said i had 5 cavities because I had been to my regular dentist two weeks prior and everything was perfect then, no cavities at all. I left and told them I would call back after I decide. So I made another appt. with a different dentist I had not seen yet and they also confirmed 0 cavities! What a scam!! read more

I feel as if i can not give a complete review because I had to leave the dental office early due to a scheduling conflict BUT here are the pros and cons PROS -Nice staff, they welcomed me when I came in the door and it only got better from there - Clean office once inside - Extremely new technology and dental tools -Paperless office (which I appreciate) - Kind, honest dentist - very explanatory and professional - Staff made me feel comfortable and welcome, not like other offices who just want money CONS - Was at my appointment for 1 hour and 45 minutes (all of which were spent in the exam chair) and did not even receive my cleaning or whitening trays (which is the main reason I purchased the living social deal) I was pressed for time and have young children at home who I could not leave any longer. So...plan for at least 2-2 1/2 hours for a cleaning alone. And that was even a 9:00am appointment. : ( It made me sad to leave because I really thought that they could be my future dentist office of choice but I will most likely not go back as they made no attempt to call and correct their error. read more

I bought a teeth whitening package that also came with X-rays and a check up. I got far more than expected here. Once you walk through the doors it is a very modern dental office. It felt very upscale but the entire staff was so friendly and down-to-earth that it made me feel like I was a long time patient. Gorgeous office, immaculate rooms, top of the like equipment, and even a tv to watch while you wait. Incredible staff from the front desk to the doctor. The X-ray girl was so sweet and Micaela was such a nice young woman. The doctor even told me to bring my own electric tooth brush from home on my next visit and he would show me how to properly brush! I have never had such a stellar experience. I came in for the whitening package and while I was there, was offered to have my implant done (since I was missing a tooth). They gave my different options and they did not pressure me at all. I wanted to get my implant done but was so nervous since it was in the front. They made me feel so comfortable and I decided to go for it. I could not be more happy about my decision. First off, I am traumatized about going to the dentist, I've had so many bad experiences in the past. Five years ago, I bought a whitening package from somebody selling them outside a grocery store and decided it was a good deal and needed my teeth to be cleaned too after I don't know how many years. Dr Shah and his staff were very friendly and everything that day went great and Dr Shah even scraped the cement off of my teeth from my braces, and other dentist wouldn't do that for me. I had cement on my teeth for years. Dr shah recommended me to get my fillings done but I couldn't at the time. Recently I bought another deal from someone that came into my work in Newport Beach and I called the first 5 closer offices on the deal and nobody could get me in on a Saturday until I called Kendra from Sunny and they were able to get me in quickly, my teeth are looking bright and white again and this time I went through with getting my cavities filled. I had those silver fillings that are rotting away and now they are nice and white. I don't have dental insurance, my credit is shot from filing bankruptcy and I was able to get financed with affordable payments to get my fillings and crown done. I was looking for a dentist that would be the one to keep and bring all my family to see. Not the case with Smile Select Dental. You're always seen after your scheduled appointment, they are never on time. Procedures take hours and hours. There are so many offices you have to drive to different offices to get procedures done. Something always goes wrong which delays the treatment. My daughter is here for a crown and was given a temporary crown which fell/chipped in one day. I was told to bring her in if it fell. Well, when I called, the chino office I was told to take her to Anaheim Hills to get it fixed because there were no available appointments. We went to Corona office the following day. The follow up appointment took 6 hours and this is just for the molding, now we are here to get the permanent crown, to my surprise something went wrong the procedure is delayed again. My daughter, stated Dr.Kim seems new at her job the assistant has to be guiding her. Do your homework, I switched from a different dentist but I regret coming here also. read more
