I have had such a great experience with this doctor and his team. I first found Dr. Chang for a crown. He was gentle, efficient with his time, and did a great job. Yustine is very responsive and has a quick turnaround for request, and she is super sweet. I wanted to get my regular cleaning with them moving forward and made sure I had the health insurance they accepted. I've been going twice a year, no issues (compared to a prior dentist), he's gentle, efficient, and does a great job. My dental insurance is a bit pricier so it can cover my dental work there, but it's worth it for me. read more

Everyone here was amazing! I have never had a dentist actually walk through my xrays and tell me about my teeth, and I do not know why it is not a standard practice, but Dr. Chang sat down and showed me my teeth and specifically where I need to do better . Instead of just saying, "floss more", he pointed at the spots where I need to make a better effort. I have never had that, and seriously blows my mind that it is not more common. They do have TVs with netflix, but watching the bro-zier episode was really awkward. I will plan ahead for what I want to watch lol. Completely great dental experience! Entire staff was very personable, professional and their attention to detail was refreshing. They explain the process and treatments to you. Dr. Chang and team were very gentle and thorough. They have very clean facilities, you can watch tv while getting treatment and you will be able to see 2D X-rays and photographs of your teeth. I've been living in Eastvale since 2014 and been going to dental cleaning in Diamond Bar until today. The place in Diamond Bar was really good but the doctor was always super busy and can only say hi and check your teeth when cleaning for maybe a minute or less. Now I usually expect a hygienist to clean my teeth, but this place was super awesome and took me by surprise that Dr. Chris took his time to clean my teeth personally and talked to me for more than 10 minutes regarding my teeth. I never had that kinda superstar dentist before. He carefully explain what needs to be done for my teeth because I've had a double jaw surgery last November and I've been on Braces for 4 years now. Not forgetting that before braces they had to remove a total of 10 teeth because of impacted wisdom teeth and some extra teeth in the gum plus over crowding because my upper teeth are huge almost double size of my bottom teeth. Plus they've got bunch of tvs in the room I cannot even believe it, and xray is portable so it was super quick and easy. The receptionist is his own wife Yustine who made sure everything goes smoothly and very very nice. They're definitely not over charging and not trying to scam you like another place that I went to in Walnut. If I can give 10 stars I would just because this place is really really awesome!! BEST DENTIST EVER! I absolutely love this place. Doctor Chang is super gentle and thorough. He doesn't try to sell you on unnecessary procedures or products. Doctor Chang's wife, Yustine, is the receptionist and she is awesome! She is so sweet and does such a good job of making you feel welcome when you walk through the door. The dental hygienists are also great and gentle. I lobe that they offer you chapstick during your visit. It's the worst feeling ever when you have dry lips during a dental cleaning lol. Been looking for a new dentist with consistent good reviews from other patients. I'm so glad I found this office, the entire team from reception to dentist are spectacular. Couldn't have had a better experience for myself, wife, and daughter. It's a small one doctor office but that means that they take the time and care to focus on each individual without the rush of multi doctor practices that have a revolving door of patients. Yustine is upbeat and her positive attitude welcomes you in. Dr Chang is calm and very thorough with exams, explains clearly, and his patience with patients is a bonus. The dental staff in between is great also, great energy with my daughter and made her open up and have a good time with her first dental visit. First time appointment for a 2 year old The first time my daughter went to the dentist, she absolutely just walked back out and would have nothing to do with the process! This time the staff at bloomvale dentist and i were prepared! The dental hygenist was extremely accommodating from getting the right tv program on to doing whatever she could to make my daughter comfortable with the whole appointment. By the end, we got her teeth polished, pics taken, and even a flouride treatment!!!!!! And we even got a peppa pig toothbrush and bouncy ball out of the trip. All I want to say is that if you are looking for dental doctor for your family just go to doctor Chang's office and trust me that he will never be over charge or push value for his patient. Also, he will give you more options that you can think about your teeth work and choose the best way to deal with your teeth. Honestly, some other doctor will not. For me, I went to other dental to check my teeth, and was told that one of my teeth should be pull off because the cavity is so big that she can not fix it. Because I really afraid pull off so I want go to another dental to get second opinion, then my friend refer me to doctor Chang's office, and doctor Chang told me that this teeth can be fix and he will try best to keep it. I was so happy. And after almost 3 hours work, my teeth has been fixed!! It's really amazing and great work by doctor Chang. He will give you the best option ever. For my son( he is just 5 years old), I took him to doctor Chang's dental for teeth checking and unfortunately I was told that my son got a lot cavities need to be fix. Doctor Chang did the great work for my son, he fixed the worst cavity and no any problems till now. Due to some personal reasons, all other cavities have been fixed by other doctor's dental office in chino hills and all other cavities seems not deep as the one that worked by doctor Chang. Logically I think all of them should be ok under this doctor's work. But unfortunately, the problem happened. One of my son's teeth now should be pull off due to the infection, and this accident I think is caused by the poorly work by that doctor! I am very sad and very disappointed for that doctor's work. If I can, I will sue that doctor,although she said is not her fault. I deeply believe that she was not doing the best treatment due to her carelessness!! Wonderful experience from start and finish. I had a 0 wait time during my appointment. All the staff I encountered at the office are highly professional and courteous. Examination, X-ray, and cleaning are all done at the same room. They even got netflix to keep you entertained during your procedure. Dr. Chang was able to solve my dental issues with minimal pain and dropped in tons of valuable dental tips. My dental bill was also kept pretty low (compared to my previous dentist). This office did a thorough exam and recommended me only the necessary procedures. Overall, we love this dental office. Dr Chang is by far the best dentist I've been to in my life. He always makes sure that you are comfortable and explains everything he's going to do. Bloomvale Dental is how a family dental office should be. My first appointment went something like this... I googled "eastvale dental" and Bloomvale was the first non-ad link with the doctor's name. I heard of horror stories of large corporate dental offices using terrible rent-a-dentists so I liked how Bloomvale had a Doctor's name behind it. So I clicked the link. The website is clean and clear. Being the paranoid person that I am, I read everything and found Dr. Chang to be trustworthy so I requested an appointment online. A couple hours later, Yustine called from the office and helped me schedule my first appointment. Very personable. So far, so good. When I arrived at the office, I checked-in and Yustine came out to greet me. She remembered me from our scheduling call and that was nice. On the call, Yustine had mentioned that I could fill out the new patient and health forms prior to my arrival so I did that and I didn't have to wait in the waiting room. I'm all about efficiency so I really appreciated that they respected my time like that. When you walk into the office, everything is new and high-tech. The assistant took my X-rays with a handheld camera (never seen that before) and it was super fast and easy. When I entered my exam room, there were 2 flat screen in front of me and a flat screen on the ceiling! During the my whole procedure, I watched Netflix's You which was fun. When Dr. Chang entered the room, the most memorable thing is his gentleness and genuineness. Even before looking at my teeth, he gave me a head and neck exam and analyzed my tongue. He explained how the whole body is connected and I appreciated his holistic philosophy for oral health. As you can tell, he always explains what he's going to do and he always asks before he does it. For a person who's anxious or mistrusting of dentists, Dr. Chang will dispel your fears and mistrust. I could tell that he genuinely cared for my well-being and that's what I look for in my doctors. When getting my cleaning done by Dr. Chang, he was thorough and gentle all the way through. The Netflix show really took my attention away from the whole procedure and the cleaning was done much sooner than I had imagined. Dr. Chang told me about an area on my molar that could turn sensitive in the near future. Again, he alerted me and told me that I could fill that area now or wait until later. He wasn't pushy at all and just gave me the information so that I could decide which I appreciated. After the procedure, Yustine took care of my check-out and I was in-n-out in a less than hour. No more waiting 15-20 minutes in the waiting room, and then other 10 minutes in the chair for the Doctor. Bloomvale is highly efficient and Dr. Chang is calming and trustworthy. I normally don't write reviews or ones this long but I know how uneasy dental visits can be. Great experience! Dr. Chang and staff are all very patient and nice. He also explained the recommended services really well, with pictures and everything, that it helped me understand the importance of regular care of my teeth. No other dentist had done this before, so I had always thought that it was all just BS, and they're just trying to get me to go visit them more often. The way that Dr. Chang explained it -- the "why" behind it, and how I'm contributing to it, was a wake up call for me. Excellent Dental Office! We were recommended by another oral and maxillofacial surgeon to this office for a possibility of root canal and dental crown. During the consultation, Dr. Chang was the most polite and honest doctor that we ever run into! He is courteous and very professional. He will takes time with you and explain the type of existing dental problems then only recommended what need to be done. We went in as emergency patient and it was almost after hours, but he was willing to do the treatment on the same day which we were super appreciated! The dental equipment they used is also the most up to date dental technology (Cameras, Multiple TVs, Netflix and all). Yustine is the one lovely lady! She deals directly with insurance company and makes sure we will get the most beneficial outcome in our case. She is a very genuine person and has created an extra happy environment! Absolutely amazing service! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Last Friday on 9/21 my oldest had pain and a loose tooth. Mind you it's 4:30pm on a Friday and we were new patients to Dr. Chang's office. At first when I called I was already expecting for them to turn me down given the fact that they closed at 6 and plus we were new patients. But instead the receptionist and staff was amazing, and took us right in!! My daughter felt very comfortable the moment we walked in and loved all the Tv's to distract her (that was a plus) Dr. Chang explained everything very thoroughly to her, and made sure she was comfortable before they had to remove her tooth. After a recent move from out of state, I have been looking, for a couple of years,for a dental office... and have only had mediocre (at best) experiences. Dr. Chang and his staff provided the most welcoming, courteous, and professional environment I could ask for. From beginning to end (making the appointment, discussing billing and insurance, having the actual appointment, and speaking about future care) everything was explained precisely and throughly.
