I have been coming to this office for a little over two years. Every experience has been fantastic! During my first visit I let Dr. Gromis know that I had not been to the dentist in over ten years. I had been going to the same dentist for 15 years prior and when he retired life got in the way and the years just kept on coming. Anyway, most dentists would have seen that as an opportunity to cash in, not Dr. Gromis. He complimented me on how well I had take care of my teeth over the years and found only two spots with minor decay that needed to be filled. With my insurance, my total out of pocket cost was incredibly reasonable. It is hard to find honest people working in the medical field these days, and even harder when it comes to dentists. I'm extremely happy with the work that has been done as well as the customer service provided by the staff. Everyone is kind, courteous, and very respectful of your time. At most I've waited 10-15 minutes to be seen and that was just once. Every other visit I've been brought back right away. The office is very clean and much more warm and inviting than other offices I've been to. I've found my dentist for the next 15 years or more! read more

I'm at a loss. I'm so upset. I went into a dentist that I had gone once before to fill 2 more cavities. First one went great the second one did not... When I was sitting in the chair another patient came in for a "dental emergency" and I feel like everything that was done was very rushed and it had me full blown shaking and crying in their chair whereas the first time AND previous dentists I have had no issues like this. Monday- 2 cavities filled Tuesday- still numb, google said numbness should only last 12 hours Wednesday- I call in and tell them my face it still numb up around my eye down all the way to the base of my neck. My tongue is also numb and I CANNOT TASTE OR TELL TEMP. - they said oh that's not normal, call us on Monday we are taking a long weekend Thursday- calling other dentists, friends, family, etc. no one has heard of this happening with cavities- only with root canals or wisdom teeth extractions Friday- everything is really bothering me. I cannot eat because of the pain I go to urgent care, they send me to the ER. ER did CT scan to make sure it wasn't an infections. My entire day gone, IV in my arm all day and $200 for copays. They told me the dentist damaged my "cranial and lingular" nerve and gave me steroids. She said if this doesn't clear up it might be permanent. Diagnosed with "paresthesia" AFTER steroids- nothing changed. I still have numbness/pins and needles on the entire left side of my face, tongue, teeth and neck. Pain while eating anything hard, cold or hot on the entire top and bottom left side of my teeth. 8 weeks later- I was told by another dentist to wait 8 weeks to make sure my nerves were actually damaged so they could refer me to an oral surgeon. New dentist also recommended pulling tooth 18 as the cavity filling was not done right and there is a lot of grey space under cavity. I lay awake at night as my face statics and reminds me of this incident. I can't floss my teeth without tooth #18 feeling like it's going to pop out. They never offered me anything, no extra care, no "let me take a look", no let me give you back the money for AT LEAST the cavity they messed up and is causing me to loose the tooth. Nothing all they could say is "sorry" to something I have no idea how long I will be stuck with. The daily pain I'm in because of this whereas I have never had dental pain before this and I've had plenty of dental work done before. Why me? read more

So grateful to have found a dentist whom I love. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Gromis for about 10 years. This was after going to another Corona dentist who said I needed a ton of work. It wasn't necessary. I used to need about 5 shots to have a dentist start working on my mouth. I get one shot now. The entire office staff is professional. I've been seeing the same staff since I started going there which is nice. I feel really comfortable there. The office is so clean and beautifully decorated. And their hygienist, Tammy, is wonderful! My wife can attest to the fact that I am EXTREMELY critical about doctors in general, but especially dentists. We have lived in several states and have had several dentists. I have never, never, I repeat never had a good thing to say about the many dentists I have had over the years (decades), but let me tell you...when I came home to my wife after my initial visit with Dr. Gromis, she was in disbelief about how much I raved about my visit. I have since returned for a follow up and will be scheduling another appointment soon. Dr. Gromis was kind enough and honest enough to let me know that he would have to refer me out for a specialized procedure, but that he could work on some of the other issues I have. 1. Clean, clean, clean facility! I have never understood how dentists could conduct business in a dirty facility. Not Dr. Gromis! 2. I was seriously taken back at how much the front/office staff are so nice. Other dentist office staff I have encountered really do not like their jobs and/or have the attitude that they are just there for the paycheck. Dr. Gromis' staff are very friendly and genuinely want to make sure your questions are answered, and with conversation and a smile. 3. The technicians and assistant staff are incredible. I had multiple people tending to me like I was a car that pulled into a high-end racing mechanic garage. They started to take x-rays and then reviewed those x-rays while taking notes and confirming with each other what they were seeing. Dr. Gromis peaked in and made sure things were going smooth and like the "boss" that he is he stepped back out and tended to another patient until the techs were finished. 4. Now, to Dr. Gromis: I am a military veteran, and served honorably for four years, so I know what "attention to detail means". Dr. Gromis reviewed my x-rays, he reviewed the notes his techs took, and then he personally examined each of my teeth, making sure to confer the notes his techs took and correct any mistakes. After already getting the royal treatment from his front office staff and his back office techs, Dr. Gromis provided me a thorough assessment of my dental condition and suggested several options WITHOUT "UP-SELLING"!!! I cannot stress how annoying it is when dentists try to up-sell their procedures, just to make more money off of you and exhaust your insurance coverage. I had one dentist say he needed to put a gold post in one of my teeth that would cost $1,000's. I had another dentist suggest I just get a whole row of my teeth "dentured". Not Dr. Gromis! He genuinely wanted to make sure that I was out of pain and establish a long-term game plan for some of the less imminent issues I have (more aesthetics). Friendly, honest, professional, clean, thorough, are just a few of the adjectives I can think of to describe my experience(s) at Dr. Gromis' office. I saw another review below about Dr. Gromis talking about his car and boat. So what? I will start by saying that if I could give this dentist no stars, I would and I don't say that lightly. On the surface this dentist is very typical, clean and the hygienists are nice and my teeth always felt clean when I was done with my normal cleanings. My issue stems from Dr. Gromis himself, when the cleanings are over he would come in and count my teeth, and use a computer to scan my teeth to see if there were any problem areas. I did not like this, when I go to the dentist I want a manual check from the doctor not a computer doing the work. The computer that scans the teeth showed a problem area so I set up an appointment to get a cavity filled, one cavity. Mind you that I have never missed a cleaning appointment and have only had 2 other cavities...ever!! So after they had numbed me and what felt like was taking forever, I asked how much longer. Dr. Gromis responded with "we're finishing up the second cavity and have one more to go." I was shocked, I wasn't even aware that I had more than one, I was never informed and I was angry. The whole time he was doing the cavities he was talking about his Porsche and his boat, it was unprofessional and rude. After having pain in my mouth since he did the cavities in August I went back and he filed the filling down, this didn't cause any relief. I went to a different dentist who took numerous x-rays/photographs and put them up on a screen and took time to explain what the problems were... and yes there were problems created by Dr. Gromis. If you are just looking for a basic dentist to get your teeth cleaned this place will do but if you want to know what's actually going on in your mouth or need work done then avoid at ALL costs!!!! read more

I had a previous dentist tell me I had 13 cavities and due to a fear of dentists and the thought of 13 CAVITIES! It did not make going to a dentist exciting at all!!! but I had a good reference and found out that the location is very convenient for me, so I decided to get it over with and get my dental work done, just a very deep cleaning and some x-rays and the kind and patient dr. Troy Gromis I was relieved to hear that I only had 3 cavities and to feel appreciation that Gromis is not only a good dentist, he is also honest.
